I really like that it doesn't have a cap like most hair spray products. I end up losing them anyway. It makes my hair smell sweet like candy...and I like how it's light and sprays a fine mist. It's my first heat protectant spray and I'm liking it.

It does a great job at protecting my hair. I iron my hair pretty often so I LOVE this. :) It smells great too! I wasn't so sure about how it comes misty, but I've come to like it.

My HG heat-protectant spray! This product does exactly what it claims to do (protect your hair from heat to avoid damage) and it does it exceptionally well too! Not to mention it smells soooo good. A beauty must have for your hair!

When I got my first bottle of Heat Protexx, the product would come out in water pistol-like streams. I tried, after consulting Nexxus, soaking the nozzle in hot water to no avail. I transferred the rest of the product into a spray bottle I had.

This product is soooo amazing. Not only is it so silkening during flat ironing, but it also works amazingly for up-dos and pony tails. Just a few spritzes keeps fly aways at bay and keeps everything in place after you style. The smell is so alluring too. It has a gentle smell of pears.

I am on my second bottle, and this time the nozzle works properly. I get a misting with every squeeze of the trigger rather than stream from before.

I have thick curly dry hair & straighten my hair 2-3x week. This makes my hair look SO healthy! It was looking damaged with other products. I hope this never gets dc'ed! I still can't believe what a difference this stuff makes!

I really like this heat protectant. It's very light and smooths and moisturizes my hair. Makes my hair shiny, too. The spray bottle is great for distributing the product evenly. The scent is great, too! I will continue to re-buy.

I'm in love. I've been straightening my hair for about..3 years? Which had equated to a severely damaged head of hair. I'd always been looking for a hair heat protector that actually WORKED. I bought this product from CVS on a whim, and I'm so glad I did. Do you know how you straighten your hair and the ends are noticeably damaged and dry looking? With this product my hair looks flawlessly straight SO SO HEALTHY, and shiny. It had repaired my hair completely. I'm so glad I bought this product because now my hair looks, feels, and IS healthy for once, and I'm still able to straighten it 3 or 4 times a week. My hair is thin, and yet the product still doesn't make it greasy looking despite the fact that I put a truckload of this stuff on it when i blow dry and straighten :D

I normally flat iron with a generous dab of Pureology Super Straight Relaxing serum worked through my hair, but I thought I'd try this to give some extra protection to my hair. I sprayed it on after the drying was complete and then ironed and I have to say, I'm not totally fond of the result. It is not as shiny. My flat iron normally imparts a glorious sheen to my hair but after I sprayed it down with this and flat ironed it was just...blah. Take it from someone who has perfected flat ironing to a science. lol. Also, the ends look a little squiggly, like they got burned. I'll keep trying it and see if it turns out better.

i used the nexxus sleek memory before blowdrying and then applied this before ironing with my sedu iron. my hair looks like a dream, that is if your dream involves sticking a finger in an electric socket. maybe i should give it another shot but after all of that work and such poor results i am jaded. i should have stuck with my stylist's concoction- "Ten" leave in spray, a dab of "PM skinny serum" and blended essential oils on the ends for shine and a delightful fragrance.

I recently bought this stuff because I needed something to protect my hair from all the blowdrying and hair straightening. I only used this for couple of weeks so i'm not sure if my hair has improved any or if its doing it job but from how my hair was before, it's gotten a little bit healthier. I will have to edit this once I find a drastic change (if any!). The bottle is convenient but the spray spout likes to clog up sometimes so you gotta clean it or else you get jets-streams coming out of it instead of mist like spray. Other wise this stuff is good!

I have to say that I really like Nexxus products, and this is no exception. I am growing my hair out from a short cut, and blow dry every day. I decided to start using this to protect my hair as it gets longer - and it's great! I have fine hair, so it is easy to over do it with this spray (that is why I subtracted one overall lippie), but generally if I use maybe 4-5 sprays for my whole head (focusing on the ends) and then comb through it does the trick. My hair is very soft and shiney, the ends aren't rough and ragged, and it smells great! The price is right and the packaging is very cute. A word of advice - keep the little choker that goes around the trigger when you buy this so you can travel with it.

i like this product. i use it before blow drying my coarse, thick, hair. i really think this made my hair dry faster, and it looked straighter and smoother when it was dry. which in turn made my flat ironing much easier.

I use this on my coarse very curly hair before I flat iron it. I have very little breakage, and my hair is always soft and shiny. But the best part is that my highlighted and dry ends look amazing! And it smells pretty good. Love it.

I have been trying to find anything that would prevent static in my hair when I flat iron and I finally have found it. I used this product and had no problem with static. I am so thankful for this product!

This is a great product that makes my hair shiny and soft. I regularly flat iron my hair and this product has minmized frizz and breakage on my heavily highlighted hair. I like that this product is very light feeling and does not weigh my hair down as other heat protectants do.

Nothing beats this for blowing out my curly/wavy head of hair (tons of fine hair). I've tried stuff from Frizz Ease (in all various formulations) to expensive blow-out creams (like Prive, Flat-Out, Phyto, Kerastase... all make my hair too "gunky" after a day), but I haven't tried anything I like more than this. If I gently spritz two or three inch sections concentrating on the ends, I get silky hair that isn't weighed down, and the best part is that the (highlighted and dry) ends look good. For shine and extra softness I'll put a little jojoba oil on the ends. I'm not into the highly-styled helmet head thing, so for me, this routine gets my hair straight/wavy with lots of softness and shine and minimal product dirtiness the next day. If it's too oily I know it's because I either used too much or touched my hair too much.

I also like that I can spritz this on almost completely dry hair and have nicely blown out wavy hair in about 5 minutes.

Would repurchase.

I use this on my hair when it's totally dry and I plan to use a large barrel curling iron to create soft, smooth waves. It works nicely, smooths out the frizz when combined with heat and gives my hair some shine. Not the absolute best to hold the wave/curl after 6 hours or so, but haven't found anything that does in my humid part of the country. I'll buy again.

This stuff rocks! I have problem hair, let's start there. My locks are damaged, colored, chemically straightened, thick, frizzy wavy and a mess on most "au natural" days. That all changed when I began to use this product! I no longer fry my hair while blow drying or straightening. After only a week my hair felt so much healthier and I had changed NOTHING else in my hair routine. I use Redken's UV cream on my towel dry hair, then apply Protexx liberally and work through my hair. I have my hair cut into a stylish bob and it looks terrible with any wave to my hair. This product leaves my hair looking like I was born with perfectly straight hair. It stays silky, smooth and never staticy. This has definitely became one of my HG products! My hair has transformed 100% from what it was only 2 months ago. If you have thick damaged hair that needs protection while heat styling you will NOT be disappointed!
