I do not care for this shampoo at all. Or the conditioner. Since I love Biosilk Therapy I thought this would be equally great, and it just isn't. It was VERY drying to my hair. My hair felt like straw after using it. Definitely will NOT buy this again.

Since I adore the Biosilk serum, I decided to venture out and purchase the Shampoo and Conditioner. I was very disappointed. The shampoo barely lathered and dried out my hair. The conditioner did not condition either. I had to follow-up with a different brand of treatment conditioner, as my hair (stick straight and always easy to comb through) was in tangles. I don't recommend this product nor the conditioner.

I, too, got this in a set at JC Penney, otherwise I probably would have never bought it as I really dislike the scent, anyhow,I tried it out a couple times and it seemed alright, didn't seem to strip my hair too bad and seemed to rinse pretty clean, HOWEVER, I got the tiniest little bit of this in my eye and even after flushing for a couple of minutes with clean water, my eye stung for several hours and was swollen and bloodshot, I've gotten a bit of shampoo in my eye before, however it never stung this badly. I decided if it hurt my eye that badly how could it be good for my hair or scalp, so I stopped using it. I think I'm going to try to contact Farouk to complain. No, this does not contain Sodium Laureth/Lauryl Sulfate(SLS) however, it contain TEA-Sulfate which is even harsher and I think that the TEA might have been responsible for the dreadful stinging I experienced.

This was in a gift set that I purchased at JC Penney...I wanted to give the other items a try and was glad that I did!
This is a decent shampoo, nice scent and lathers well...does not seem overly harsh or to strip my hair.
I was hoping this would be more hydrating... alas, still looking for a HG shampoo!

I was very exited when I bought this product. I thought this would be my holy grail of shampoos. Maybe it was my high expectations that let med down, but I'll have to say this was a real disapointment, especially considering the price. It made my hair flat and heavy, yet still dry and dull. I only used it a few times before i gave it to a friend....

This shampoo was not the greatest. It seemed to make my hair more brittle/dry when I used it. I also noticed that I got an allergic reation to it, as my chest broke out in small bumps. I will not purchase this product again.

This does not contain SLS, for those of us trying to avoid it. It does a good job of cleansing my hair without stripping it. Also, it helped a lot with my scalp problems. The smell (like all Biosilk products is really 'salon-like', but not to the point of overpowerment.
