I'm not at all well versed in foundation, so take my review for what it's worth! I have been using this for several months, I have extremely sensitive skin so I generally stick to almay (because I usually just get cheap stuff). As far as my sensitive skin goes, this is great, no problems there. I can agree that this isn't the best coverage, I feel like it covers my mild overall redness but doesn't actually do a great job of hiding blemishes at all. I agree that the bottle is a pain, especially right when I buy a new one and it pours out SO fast. I stick to this because it's really comfortable on my skin, it may not offer the best coverage but in my eyes it's more coverage than if I used nothing at all and it feels great.

Okay, so I got this about a week ago at Walmart. It was about $11 or so. I'm a teen, with fairly clear skin (I have a few little pimples on my face but my nose is covered with blackheads, yuck! Which this foundation covers well without cakeing). I have an extremely uneven skintone. My forehead is a few shades darker down the middle than the rest of my face (I don't know why, but I only seem to notice. Anyway...), and my undereye circles are very dark and hereditary. So I needed a foundation with decent coverage.
Now, generally I'm definately more of a department store person, but I wanted a liquid foundation for some days that wasn't too much money. So I went to Walmart and looked around. I wanted someting weightless but lasting with good (non-cakey) coverage. So I thought I'd give it a try.
The foundation in the bottle is VERY true to color and I have finally found my perfect match in a liquid foundation shade! =D Finally, no more lines. The foundation goes on and blends exceptionally well, but the bottle tends to be hard to get a good amount of foundation from (pours way too much and makes a mess). So I like to dip my concealer brush in and just dot the makeup over my cheek and blend. Like I said, it blended very, very well and STAYS PUT on oily skin without drying out dry patches.
Well, I think you get the point of my review! =) So, if you're considering giving it a try, go ahead...you have nothing to lose!

I like it. I'm still pretty young and I don't need much coverage but to even out my skin tone and cover some redness. And this makes me feel like I'm not wearing much makeup. It's really light and moisturizing and amazingly, it stays for pretty much the whole day. The only thing I hate is that it doesn't come in a color for me. I picked Sand, even though it was a little too light for me and I darken it by putting on some of Almay's Nearly Naked Loose powder, in light medium (too dark for me). It makes me look natural and like I have good skin. However, I won't be buying again because they don't have my color.
Edit: I've started mixing it with my moisturizer and I like it even better now. But, I still won't be buying it again.

I purchased this from Walgreens b/c it was on clearance for about 75% off and Paula Begoun gave it a good rating in her book. This foundation is so light that it gave NO coverage on my skin whatsoever; it didn't show at all. Since I couldn't use it as a foundation, I tried to use it as an undereye and acne scar concealer; it didn't work.
The only good point about this is its liquid texture, which felt nice on my skin. I imagine this might be a good foundation for girls with absolutely PERFECT skin. It's useless for me and I returned it.

I have buff for my fair, yellow undertone skin. This product does look very natural in daylight, really like true skin with just a bit of dewiness and no shimmer but does even out your tone. That is only if you apply just a very small amount and to only the needed areas, any more and there was a definite foundation look to this. I definitely need concealer over spots or darkness under my eyes but for the rest of my face this is nice. I got it for $2.19 at Walgreens on clearance so I am pretty happy with that. I would say that the packaging is not very sanitary. I really like my foundations to have a pump. Overall a good daily foundation.

This foundation in Buff is the perfect match for my super pale, neutral skin tone. I apply this with a wedge and find it gives fantastically buildable coverage (to a moderate degree) -- plus, it has sunscreen! I tend to burn easily, but never have while wearing this. It's my HG... alas, I think it's been discontinued or something because I can never find it anymore. I like that it's light and breathable; I think I could even work out while wearing it... not that I ever work out. :)

I had really high hopes for this product, but unfortunately, it was horrible. First of all, the color was horrendous. I looked pink/ashy/gross! It had a terrible finish and I literally looked like I fell into a pile of dirt! It had decent coverage to say the least, but didn't last long whatsoever and just looked unnatural and nasty. I am NC20 in MAC foundations, (fair skinned with yellow/warm undertones) and couldn't find a match to save my life.

The coverage on this was ok, not too heavy or shear. I couldn't find a color for my fair/warm skin tone, and it was sooo greasy. It made my skin shiny from the get go, and by days end my face was so slick, it was nasty.

I do like this foundation, it has good coverage for me as I just want to even out my skin tone. It has a pretty good finish and a nice feel. I find that it does not last at all and I am not one to reapply over old makeup so I would have to wash my face and start over.... I just end up leaving it. I really want to try the Nars sheer glow foundation next.

I have this color in 140 buff and it matches my fair warm undertone very well. Its very light for days you do not need much coverage. I would say that this is more like the consistency of a tinted moisteriser but without the moisturizing properties. Dont get this if you need a lot of coverage. Do get it if you like to minimize the look of freckles or small imperfections. I like it as its very little work to use.

I don't often finish a bottle of foundation(I usually find a new one to use before the old one is done) but I am on my 3rd bottle of this one. I use the Naked shade though it is just a bit too dark for my fair skin. However, the coverage is very light so it is not noticeable.
If you are looking for a medium to full coverage foundation, this is not for you, hence the name "Nearly Naked". I find though that it evens out my skintone and leaves a nice light dewy feel that is not greasy. If i have red spot i want to cover, i just dip a fine tipped concealer brush into the foundation and lightly dab it on the spot and it covers it just fine.
I really dislike the bottle application though as it is tough to get every last drop and a little bit messy. A pump or squeeze tube would be much better.

Meh...I saw this at Walmart and thought I would give it a try, I am always picking up new foundations hopeful that I will find "the one". This didn't quite work for me, not enough coverage for one, plus I didn't care for the "dewy" feel on my face. It does have SPF which is a plus. I will use it up though, I can actually use it in conjunction with another foundation so it won't go to waste. But I won't buy this again, the search continues....

I have to say that this is THE best foundation for my under eye area. I hardly have any fine lines to begin with but with any other make up I have tried, they creeped into the tiny lines that were invisble before and made me look ten times older EXCEPT THIS ONE (I had tried Clinique's smoothing concealer as well as others I tried at Sephora). Not only that, but I have a dry patch of eczema under my left eye (that refuses to go away) and this is the only make up that will not irritate it (it may even soothe it) and it will not patch onto the dry skin to make it look very obvious. The coverage is not stupendous, but it does the job to reduce dark circles, and it does last reasonably well. For the rest of my face, I prefer Revlon colorstay for the better coverage and remarkable staying power, but even that one creeps into my lines under my eyes. That's why I stick with the Almay for that area.

I'm on the fence about this; I feel like it's a good product but just wasn't a good match for me.
Pros - True to it's name, natural-looking and light.
Cons - not enough coverage for me.
My face was oily shortly after applying (I don't have super oily skin).
It was also difficult to spread when applying (too dry?). Didn't do much for the texture of my skin - made my pores look large and my face shiny compared to other liquid foundations I've used. This might be better for those who don't need a lot of coverage.

This foundation didn't provide enough coverage for me and I have to retouch in the middle of the day. It's probably good if you only need light coverage. I do like that it didn't smell bad and it was a nice texture, but I need something with a little more coverage so I will keep looking.

I purchased this at Walgreen's for $12. I purchased the lightest shade 120 Ivory. When I got it home, I immediately tried it on. And WOW! It totally matched me perfectly! The liquid formula is creamy and smooth. It just blends away effortlessly to beautiful skin! A couple of hours later (I had been cooking, cleaning, and doing laundry), I went and checked how it was wearing. To my surprise, it still looked perfect, just beautiful skin! The best thing about it is: it doesn't look like you're wearing makeup, it looks like you have beautiful healthy skin!
I love this foundation! I have finally found a drugstore foundation that works for my skin type and tone.

This product works well on my skin. I have sensitive skin and I am prone to breakouts. The consistency is not to thick and blends well. It contains SPF 15 properties which is always a bonus. It provides a light to medium coverage. Its staying power is good. I only find that when I sweat, the make up tends to fall or wipe off. I have normal skin and it does not dry my face and it does not turn me into a grease ball. The product comes in a glass container with no pump so this may pose as unsanitary to some people. I just use a spatula to get the product from the bottle. The price is good. For $15, thats about half the price of MAC's foundation. The only downside is the limitation of colours. I find that I can only wear this foundation in winter. I use tan in the winter which is the darkest colour of the line.

I'm kinda torn on this product. I love everything about it except that immediately after application it makes my face look incredibly shiny. It's not a dewy look, it's just shiny like my face is covered in oil. I still gave it a three because everything else about it, the color, the feel on my skin, etc., was very nice but I won't use it due to the shiny appearance. I actually use it as a highlight for my cheek bones. When used it such moderation just on the cheeks it does give my face a nice, dewy look. I won't repurchase.

Light-medium coverage, good color selection, didn't break me out. My only problem with this is it made my skin get oily within a couple hours and it didn't last all day (I hate touching up). Overall, a good foundation for the money.

I have to agree with all the good reviews. I always go back to the almay foundations. My derm said this brand and clinique are the best to use foundation wise. It gives great, natural dewy coverage. It really is 'nearly naked'. I would recommend this to anyone. I have acne and it has NEVER broken me out. Also comes in spf 12 or 15 I believe. Give it a try, you won't be dissapointed.
