I bought this awhile ago because I like the wet shiny look I saw in magazine ads (I usually use lip glosses). Well this stuff was a waste of my money. It doesn't give a wet look, it's like anyold lipstick. And it has a gitty feeling on my lips. Very gross feeling. Who's going to want to kiss gritty lips? Will not repurchase.

what a shame! i bought this because i wanted to mix in some d/s lipstick in my mu collection. i bought this in a pink shade and although it made my lips look a little wet (NOT like i had gloss or anything) i was disappointed. the color did NOT show!! i wish it looked as pretty as it did in the tube.

This looked weird on me. It was just like they said, very shiny, wet and looked like I had a bunch of glitter all over my mouth. No thanks!

Grainy, gritty, glittery, gross.

Also: not lasting and sucks moisture out of your lips, doesn't feel soft and emollient, and simply looks, in my opinion, childish and cheap.

Yuck, I wanted to like this product, but it was drying, grainy, and the colors were unflattering.

Plum Sparkle... Diamonds definitely doesn't last as long as Maybelline Forever Lipcolor and Bath & Body Feel Good Lip Color. The taste is neutral, and the sparkle lasts even if the color wears off (OK, a little weird). For those that don't mind reapplying every few hours, Diamonds are GOOD, CHEAP FUN. Oh, and the packaging looks cheap too! ;)

I have it in crystal pink which is a very subtle shimmery pink. It glides on smoothly when I apply it and even moisturising. BUT, just after 30mins, the moisturising effect has totally disappeared! My lips feel so dry and cakey, yuuuucky! Just wonder why Maybelline is so much worse than L'Oreal Paris with a similar price and same group company!

I have two shades in this...Pink Carats, which is a medium shimmery pink, and a dark red shade where the label fell off. I love the shimmery look of both, but like many others, I hate how drying the formula is.

These are very pretty lipsticks. They're shiny and leave my lips feeling soft long after it's worn off.Which brings me to the only problem I hve with these, that they're not long lasting. But that's to be expected from a non-matte,shiny lipstick.

I had this in pink carats for the longest time. I had used so much of it, that I resorted to using a lipbrush to dab at the remains in the tube. I thought the color was really pretty and added a nice sparkly/shimmery touch to my lips. Had to wear it with other lip gloss or balm though, as the lipstick buy itself tended to be drying. The texture was also a tad bit gritty, but not too bad. I probably won't buy this again because I've found better alternatives. Still, not a bad lipstick.

I love the idea of this; a very shiney lipstick with subtle flecks of shimmer. I also love the wide array of colors in the spectrum, Maybelline shines (pardon the pun) in offering nice colors. Only reason I didn't give it a five lippie is because I don't feel this has the best staying power. Aside from that, it looks nice and sexy on and has a nice shimmer to it, a good lipstick overall and fun too!

Wet Shine? No. Diamonds? Nearly!! This should have been called very shimmery lipstick because that's what it is. Not particularly long lasting, but it does hhave one of my favourite lippie shades - Sequin Mauve.

I hate this lipstick. It is nothing but a gimmicky ripoff. I expected shiny, sparkly, moisturizing lipcolor like the ads promised, but what I got was dry, MATTE, grainy lipstick with thin see-through color that went on streaky & uneven. No amount of blending & lip-smacking would even it out. Horrid, horrid product. This is one of the only lipsticks that made my lips look *thinner*. On top of everything, it tasted & smelled disgusting. It had that gross waxy smell/taste that cheap lipsticks have. I got it on sale, but it was still a waste of money.

Outstanding! It is as good as Lancome's. I have both lines of this lipstick type. I bought every color of red, pink, and fuschia in this lipstick formulation. Men compliment me on my lips. The secret is to use a good lip liner like MAC, Lancome, or Lord & Berry (HarmonDiscount.com). It is fabulous. Wears well and imparts a sexy shine on the lips. 2 SEXY!!

i really like this lipstick, although the ads are very misleading and the lipstick tends to be a bit on the grainy side. :(

Some shimmers from the l/s appeared to be a little gritty and some shades are just a little drying. It's just an okay drug shop l/s overall.! I prefer the Loreal Shine Delice more.

The ad for this product is very misleading; my lips looked nothing like the girls in the ads! Maybe for about a second, but then the lipstick dries and your left with nothing, just a gritty film on your lips and maybe just a hint of color. Wouldn't purchase again!

Gorgeous shades. I adore the way this looks on me but unfortunately it dries out my sensitve lips and most of the times the glitter ends up all over my face. No thanks, I won't buy it again.
