Ack! A few months ago I purchased the JCB body splash, and I love it. I wear it all of the time. I thought, "Ok, so now winter is here and drying my skin out, I will get the JCB body cream." I purchased it, got home, smoothed some on, got in the car and drove back to the mall to return it. It smelled so bad! Almost like it was old and had been sitting around for awhile so the scent spoiled. I was so disappointed. The body cream smelled nothing like the body splash. Even my BF who likes the scent was repulsed. Maybe I bought a bad batch or something. BTW, I exchanged it for the Warm Vanilla Sugar body cream - love, love, love it, a great scent to fallback on, it never changes.

I agree with Cinnamon1 review. I wanted to like this as well. The packaging was so beautiful but the scent inside was disappointing. This smells too mature and old ladyish on me. It reminds me of something my aunt would wear. Not for me.

I'm a big fan of this stuff. The scent is amazing. It's different. Pretty packaging. Rich & creamy. Something I'll stick with for awhile.

I wanted to like this, I really did. Smells wonderful straight out of the tube (I bought the body cream and the EDP spray). I have to say, BBW is headed in the right direction. This is one of their first fragrances that doesn't smell sickly sweet or overly fruity. It's more complex. Only problem is that the top and middle notes fade FAST, leaving just the bottom notes, which on me smell just powdery, kind of like an old lady (a good-smelling old lady). Doesn't smell bad, it's just nothing special once it dries down.

I have to admit I really don't like BBW because of the way they crushed the Body Shop and started cranking out head-ache inducing cheap crap, and the way they simply copy other companies and line their shelves with unimaginative knock-offs.
So imagine my surprise when I found myself buying the JCB body spray and body cream at their semi-annual sale (I moved to a small town with no TBS, so I gotta make do). I love the thickness of this cream and the gorgeous packaging - and I really liked the scent! It is fresh and powdery, but also mysterious and sexy. However, I can't give it 5 stars because a female coworker told me I smelled like sex (like a whore), and a male coworker walked into my cubicle after I;d reapplied it and announced "Smells like my grandma in here!"
Whores and grammas?
But I like it dangit!!

I don't understand anyone saying this is a subtle scent, its very strong to me. Overpowering. Recieved as a gift and tried several times, but always washed it off and it still lingered. This scent gives me a headache, on me or on anyone else.

This is really nice--from the pretty packaging to the product inside. Japansese Cherry Blossom has a very delicate floral scent. It's very subtle. The lotion is very rich. It takes a long time to sink it, but my skin is amazingly soft when it finally does. I really like this a lot.

This is one of my newest favorites from BBW. As soon as I sniffed this, I fell in love. It instantly reminded me of Avon's Black Suede cologne (for men) which I love. I can detect a hint of the original Cherry Blossom and notes of something else that's so warm and clean. The formula is thick & creamy as always and moisturizes very well. This is a good change from the usual. It's Sultry and Sexy! I compare this to higher end body products. I could see Nordstrom, Saks or Macy's offering this richly fragrant cream repackaged in a fancy glass container. LOL! But, I do love the beautiful Black & Ruby tube it comes in. I'm impressed. Update: Just found the perfect perfume oil to layer with this. It's Japanese Musk from The Body Shop. Perfect!

Moisturizes well, pretty package, and nice light scent. It's not my favorite, but I like it a lot :)

I like the smell of this. It isn't as sweet and strong as most of their other creams. It's nice and musky, with a hint of vanilla. I gave some out as presents and they were loved by my friends too. Overall, the price is good, and it's a nice quality lotion.

Now this is a cream! I have many other bath and body works body creams, but none are like this. For some reason it seems to me that there is something different about this formula. The cream is much thicker and buttery than previous formulas. You have to really give the tube a squeeze to get the cream out--I can almost picture this formula in a jar, but certainly prefer having it in a tube since it's much more hygienic than in a jar. The scent is pretty nice, nothing too fancy, quite perfumey, and much more complex than most of the other scents put out by bath and body works. The price isn't bad--but I insist on buying only when I have coupons. Definitely will repurchase then.
