I have to say I dont think this compares to Burts Bees, for me this was much more moisturizing. When I first used it I had extremely chapped lips and within a couple of days of using it my lips were completely rejuvenated. I love the minty smell and it taste great. There is a downside, the balm caused a couple of pimples around my lips, so I started being more careful when putting it on and made sure that it stayed only on my lips and since then it hasnt caused any pimples.

I agree with some of the other reviewers that this could be compared to Burt's Bees Lip Balm, but if you actually look at the ingredients on this, you will see that this is so much better. It's got shea butter! This is also sweeter and less irritating than Burt's Bees. I think this is way more moisturizing and the packaging is adorable!

i'm loving this...it feels nice like their gloss, minty, etc. but it's got spf 15, and can be used for either men or women!

Not that great...stays on top of lips, doesn't absorb, and the sugary taste is nauseating if you are just looking for something to moisturize your lips.

i don't like this minty matte finish lip balm. if you like minty lip things, but dont want the glossiness of the mentha lip shines, try burt's bees. it's minty and doesn't make you lips looks all matte and weird. also, the burt's bee's is cheaper than this one and lasts longer.

I love this minty lip balm! I loved it so much that i ended up buying one for my boyfriend and guy best friend and they ended up loving it too. The mintiness gives a cool sensation, perfect for the warmer seasons and it keeps my lips nice and moist.

A nice minty balm with a sweet candy taste, and of course the cool futuristic black tube with white typewriter letters doesn't hurt. It promises a matte finish, and it delivers that nicely.

The quality of the balm is a bit lacking, though. I find it rather waxy and non-penetrating. It's not a soft, creamy balm. It's more like ChapStick, kind of firm and unyielding. Since I love to slather my lips with goop, this wasn't quite what I was looking for.

This stuff is incredible. I thought I was going to love the glossy lip tints the best, but it turns out I like this better. It's difficult to justify spending so much on a lip balm, but when I think about the fact that I use it every day, multiple times a day, I guess a product that costs a more is well worth it when it works better and smells better than anything else on the market.

I'm not used to paying $5 for a chapstick, but its worth it. Stays on my lips for a long time, and freshens breath.

Confession: I bought this for my husband on sale at BBW, since the no-shine formula was recommended for men. Then one day I forgot to pack my own lip balm and ended up having to use his...and now I want to steal it! This Mentha Lip Balm Stick is the most delicious minty balm I've ever tried, with good moisturizing properties and a refreshing, invigorating effect. I disagree with those who say it's just the same as Burt's Bee's balm. I have used that before, and the C.O. Bigelow is mintier, tinglier, tastier, and seems to last longer. Now, I was nice and let my husband have his Mentha Lip Balm back--to be fair, since I have ten thousand lippies and a penchant for trying every lip balm I come across. But if I find this on sale again, I will definitely repurchase (the regular price still seems a tad much to pay for lip balm).

i love this lip balm.. the texture is great, it lasts long, and makes my lips really soft.
but i wish the tube was skinnier and longer! i hate how 'fat' the lip balm is.. my lips are kinda thin, so it gets all over them place when i apply! boo factor!

OMG! i absolutely looooove this lip balm, i got it at the airport's THe body shop just for the sake of buying something, and i'm totally glad i did! i like it much more than glosses, cause it makes your lips seem naturally enhanced. love the soft texture it creates, the flavor, the tingly feeling (i'm always reapplying) and the fact that its portable and easy to apply.

i noticed people were complaining about the price. I know its a bit much for a lip balm but dear God its only seven bucks, cough up! in my opinion it is totally worth it.

I LOVE this product. I have used Burt's Bees lip balm & Mary Kay's moisture therapy lip balm in the past, but BB's was too waxy & MK's just made my lips peel. This stick, on the other hand, is a HG. It is minty & tingly (which I love), & doesn't have shine (I hate shine!). I think the tube is very cute & application is always better with a tube. My lips feel great & super smooth after using this product.. no more peeling / dry lips for me!

The price is a little steep ($7.50) in comparison to other lip balms, but I got this on sale for $5 (which is still steep). But considering that its an excellent product I will use everyday for a few months, its not a bad investment.

In an effort to wean my boyfriend off of Carmex, I bought him a tube of this. Thanks to the wonderful appeal of the no shine minty formula, he is now hooked on this lip balm. I've since bought three more tubes to give to the males in my family for Christmas (the girls are receiving the Cinnamint/tinted/soda parlor ones). Don't think I can ever rave enough for C.O. Bigelow's lip shines/tints!

I'm a mentha addict and this is the one I reach for the most when I don't want any shine. It's the perfect base for under lippies, and for nude lips. Moistureizes like no other, lasts forever, texture is perfect. Adore this.

I'm so excited CO Bigelow came out w/the Mentha Lip Shine in a chapstick formula! This balm is quickly becoming my HG chapstick. I LOVE the taste & texture. It is too pricey for a chapstick, but I'll stock up when they're on sale for $5.Great product!!!

Ahhhhh....Finally,one without the gloss!Yes,I'm a gloss hata. Glosses make my lips look huge and pornish, yeah,I have it bad, huh? :P I use this as a balm underneath my lip primer and it gives me the same benefits as the shine without the gloppiness. I would repurchase at the sale price.I like it better than BB in that this seems to adhere better to the lips and freshens the breath as well.

i really liked it,the flavor and scent seem to be unique.i got this for 5 dollars at bath and body works because all their mentha lip products were 5 dollars.i like how it applies, and how i can use it when i dont want to shinyness of the lip shine, but the flavor :]

Edit- I have come to realize that it leaves a bad residue and makes my lips look like i slicked on white glue. Awful

Agree with the review below. This is expensive burt's bees lip balm to a tee-even the packaging! It's nice for when I'm in the mood for something not shiny, which doesn't happen often :) I'll use it up, but won't buy another one. I prefer the glossy mentha shines!
