Love, love, love this stuff. I'm so happy that Ivory now makes its lovely soap in a handy body wash. For a while, they were selling large bottles of it at Wal-Mart for around four bucks, but then they started selling them in slightly smaller bottles for $1.97. Whut? So buying one!

I noticed there are three scents available at my store...Simply Ivory, Simply Ivory Aloe, Simply Ivory Lavender...I have the original scent. One sniff takes me back to childhood and that beautiful floating bar of Ivory soap. I used to buy the same bar when I was first married and too poor to buy anything else.

It says what it does and it does what it says. It lathers (but not overly lathery), it moisturizes (but not oily-like), it smells nice and soapy clean (but not perfumey), and it cleans my body. What more could I ask for? I also found out that I can mix in a little bit of scented body wash (to match whatever perfume I will wear) and it gives off a little bit of the scent, but it doesn't become overpowering (like perfumed body wash can sometimes do). I don't think I'll go back to Dove again, as long as I can get this for under two bucks.

How refreshing the thought of my old baby soap bar is now also my favorite body wash. For one thing, the soap is very mild and gentle on the skin - not overly drying or moisturizing but gives you just the right clean feel. I love the packaging. The ones I have here look different than what I see on the websites. The simple clean packaging design looks very nice in my spa insipired bathroom :) I think the bottle says exactly what it's suppose to be, its just right! And lastly, the scents that they have available are just so heavenly. Currently I'm using the Simply Water Lily and it smells very aquatic. I finished a bottle of Simply Lavander and it was very soothing. I can't wait to try other ones but the large bottles will take a while to finish - which by the way was very inexpensive to begin with!

I did not even know that Ivory made a body wash. I saw this product the other day and, after sniffing the nice scent (Aloe), decided to try it- at $1.67, I could not go wrong. I love how it smells, it lathers up great & it does moisturize my skin. I will buy this again, and look forward to trying the other scents in the line.

You would think that a company like Ivory, that has such a "purity" reputation would have less chemical ingredients in their stuff. This doesn't have any moisturizing ingredients at all, and has acrylates/copolymers (light form of liquid plastic), and styrene (very drying). So, too drying for me and the smell I found very strong. I personally think this is a very harsh wash.

I'm on a tight budget and I'm coming close to finishing my 'B' Never Too Busy To Be Beautiful Shower Gel and didn't make it to Lush to special order a bottle. Today I came across Ivory body wash in Honey and I am perfectly delighted with this. It smells soft and rinsed clean, I can use it on my normal to dry virgin hair and... it costs 1/6 of what I would have spent on Lush. Not the same thing but it smells of honey. This pleases me.

It's just okay. I tried it. No rashes, residue, smelly scent. I guess that means it's good. I have aloe and want to try lavender (do they still make it?). It is moisturizing without being sticky, unlike Dove. The bottle is huge and lasts a while. However, I am getting bored with the aloe scent. Doesn't even smell like aloe. More like a sugary sweet grassy scent. Doesn't linger ont eh skin, thank goodness. Yep, it's just ok.

I've used the Honey, Aloe, Fresh Snow, and Water Lily scents in this body wash and I think it is the best. I sometimes use Dove washes but they leave my bathtub/shower floor a bit coated. These are great because they come in a HUGE container for a low price, the scents are very nice, not cheap at all, and it doesn't dry my skin out at all. I just wish they would put a pump at the top to make it easier to use. I can't even count all the times I dropped the big bottle in the shower because my hands are on the small side and they were wet.

I've only tried the clean snow scent, which is fresh and relatively light. It doesn't leave a film on me or my tub, and it doesn't have to be on sale for you to buy it--a huge container is pretty cheap even at full price. It moisturizes my skin; I'm not sure if it has caused the new bout of back acne, though, with its moisturizing properties, but I'm suspicious of it since it was the only product I've changed. I hope not, I like everything else about it.

I love this body wash! It has a lovely, clean scent, non-cloying, and doesn't over-moisturize like some body washes. It leaves my skin soft and clean, but not greasy.

I tried the "Fresh Snow" fragrance which was subtle and non-obstrusive.

A gentle cleanser, not drying, no breakouts, none of those ridiculous sparklies that irritate my skin--quite nice and basic. I still have ones I like a little better, but this was a nice one to mix in for change ever so often without any ill effects (like Caress completely dried out my skin or Soapsoap Shea Butter and Dove Firming broke me out or Olay Complete Dry Skin left a film on my skin). Simplicity is good.
