This eyeliner came in a pack with my lash stiletto mascara. I really like how thinly I can apply this eyeliner and it doesn't budge.

My emotion for the Line Stylist run from good to so-so. I have this in Bronze Gleam which is a very nice bronzy brown, closer to medium than dark. Maybelline advertises, "No skipping, dragging or pulling". Not quite. Over no other cosmetics, I get a good line. However, it drags when going over another eyeshadow. Another quote, "Silky soft, long-wearing formula glides on for flawless application that won't smudge or smear" is also not true. This does smear and smudge about 1/2 through a working day. What I do like is the twist-up end! I only keep a small amount out so I haven't experienced any breakage. Other than that, I'm not thrilled enough to buy again.

On the real, this sucks. It's way too fragile causing it to break easily. It's not even that much of a "fine" tip. You have to make sure you don't twist it too much because you can't turn it back in. It costed me $6.79 which is a total rip-off. The only good thing about this is how precise the line can create. Other than that, I regret buying this and I will definitely not purchase this again nor recommend you to.

Absolute waste of money. It doesn't apply well on the eyes. The liner left a barely there grey smudge, regardless how of much force I applied. It tugs and scratches at my eyes, in fact, I found it extremely irritating, something akin to running a fingernail across your eyes. The color isn't smooth or dark. It smudges easily, which is not a plus for me . Not quite retractable. While you can click to get more eyeliner, you can't click to push the eyeliner back down.

It did apply quite nicely on my hand and did have all the things I wanted in an eyeliner: a smooth, black line. It did also scratch my hand and was prone to crumbling.

I got this in Onyx. I think what I have is the new and improve version since it looks different than the one in the picture. Anyway, I like how thin it is and that I can really get close to the lash line. I found out on the first use that you can't twist the product back so I only twist just enough product that I'll be using. This is a great everyday eyeliner since it does stay on the whole day. I use this on the top lash line and bottom lash line. I wouldn't recommend this on the water line since this isn't waterproof.

i am on the line with this product. i have the eye liners in silver dazzle and a brown one. i like how thin the product is so that it is always a thin line coming out. however sometimes it is hard to make a line and difficult to take off. so this product is just okay.

I own two in jade and bright highlight. While I really like the idea, I'm not sure the delivery is that great. Bright highlight (pearlescent white) looks great on my hand... but the amount of force it takes to get the color to show up I can't possibly use around my eyes (eeek!). I was able to get jade on my lashline (yes, with pain involved) and it looked nice, but like I said the possible tearing of delicate eye skin isn't worth it.

I use this eyeliner whenever I want to create a "barely there" line. I use the color Espresso and it is perfect for my dark brown eyes. The picture shown doesn't look like the packaging of the one I use so maybe this is a newer/older pic that i am not familiar with. i find it very easy to glide on and it doesn't melt away by day's end which was an issue i had quite often with kohl liners. The only thing I do not like about this liner is the packaging. The twist up design can sometimes act up. I'm on my 5th or 6th pencil and i have to say that 2 times I've had to bring it back for an exchange because when i took it out of the package, the pencil wouldn't twist up. That irritated me. I feel that it is expensive for the amount of product so wish they could do something about the price. I love the liner itself, but am not a fan of the twist up feature or the price.

I got this in Onyx together with the Define-A-Line pencil in brownish black so I kind of have something to compare it to. IMO the application was good, it glides on easily and the line is quite thin. The problem for me comes in size, packaging and quality. Size: the pencil is very thin, not much product for the money. Packaging: it is impossible to twist the pencil back (retract it), once you have let out too much product - you just have to live with it. Really not practical for me. Plus it can break off once you put the cap on. Quality: when I apllied what I thought was moderate amount of force to just creat a line the pencil just crumbled and the protruding piece just broke off. I really don't think I was pushing so hard! As I already mentioned, you don't get that much product anyway, plus it breaks off all the time. Will not repurchase!!!

This product was overall fairly good, the color was really nice with glitters in it. I have the turquoise one. The color stays on all day. It was super cheap, i got it for a dollar! The only problems are that the second i opened it up it broke but i was able to fix it. Also the liner breaks off so you have to make sure that you don't twist up to much, also the liner doesn't work on the water line because it takes to much pressure to apply it on your delicate water line. But over all for the price and color i would definitely buy another one!

I agree that this was way too fragile...it broke too easily because it was too fine of a point, and honestly I shouldn't even have gotten it cause I like thicker lines around my eyes anyway!! The thin lining looked awkward. It is crumbly, and I'd never buy it again.

I thought this eyeliner was terrible. It did not come out of the tube in the shape that is advertised, it just came out in a round shape. I could not create 'thick or thin lines' as advertised. When I applied enough pressure to actually get some colour on my lids, the eyeliner broke off. Also it was very crumbly. Definitely would not buy this again!

This is by far my favorite eyeliner simply because it is soft and so thin that you can apply perfect lines as close to the lashes as possible. It really creates amazing results, doesn't fade, doesn't smudge. I love the packaging since it's a plastic twist pencil. The only thing I don't like is that it is expensive for the small amount of product that you get. The pencil is long, but probably only 1/3 of it is filled on the inside with liner, so it runs out quickly, especially if you use eyeliner a lot like I do.
Love this stuff, not sure what the price was when I first got it; if I found it on sale for cheap somewhere I would absolutely get it again.

I was in desperate need of eye liner so I just grabbed it. However, literally the second I opened it, it broke. It wouldn't twist so I literally had to dismantle the damn thing and when I finally managed to make it work and have the thing turn it snapped off. Huge disappointment and waste of money!

The one thing I loved about this liner is that you can do very thin lines close to the lashes for work and thicker more dramatic look to go out. It stays on pretty well too. I would suggest everyone to try it at least once.

Really hard and tugs on my lid and waterline. No pigmentation. Horrible product!

I bought the black one for $13aud.

I don't get the reviews that say this is hard and draggy. I have it in "Sapphire" and it goes on smoothly every time. I also LOVE the thin tip, which is the reason I purchased it to begin with. You can get a very precise line that doesn't smear into a greasy mess underneath your eyes. This has earned a place in my makeup bag for as long as they don't discontinue it!

I had high expectations when I bought this product because the packaging is so slim, the color looked beautiful (green jade) and the description on the product seemed heavenly (like all others huh?)
WRONG! I was so sad I wasted my money on this. Tugging tug tugging, my gosh the color doesn't even show up on my lids! I tried a swatch on the back of my hand and it was alright, I had to apply some pressure but wow, it was painful on my lids.
I would never buy this again. Maybe I'm the only one that has had this issue, or maybe I've just got an old product that has been sitting on the shelf for years, but I really don't recommend this.

Worst eyeliner I have ever used! It hurts your eyes when you try to put it on, because you have to drag it so hard, and it does not give a smooth line! Takes several applications before you even get a line. I ended up using this as a brow liner. But then the twist applicator broke off, and I can't use it anymore. Don't buy this!
