i LOVE this fragrance! I'm really into fruity, fresh scents, and whenever i spray this, it reminds me of being on the beach. I find that guys like the scent as well.

Island Kiss is much nicer than this. My fav are Ibiza Hippie and Island Kiss! :) This is how it smells like with my body chemistry.

Ibiza Hippie: lychee, black currant blends with the florals and cranberry is the heart of IH.
i agree that it sort of smell like strawberry but it isn't added, probably due to the yummy berries.

Island Kiss: mango and pineapple is blended with the heart passion fruit and brightened with orange.
IMO without passion fruit, island kiss wouldn't have it's distinctive scent. the dry down gets
deeper and less sharp (orange) which smells really nice candy(not overpowering to me). This lasts the
longest on me.

Rockin Rio: the top note is refreshing and it is lighter than IK but it has the same mango notes.

Pacific Paradise: i smell mango in this but it can never beat island kiss passion fruit note.

Sunset Heat: smells sort of like mango, orange apricot. I think this has the worst lasting power,
well hey, its FRUITS. Refreshing too..

Overall: IMO, 1. ibiza 2. Island Kiss 3. Sunset heat and Rockin Rio 4. pacific paradise last

I dislike reading complaints of ESCADA's lasting power..
The lasting power really varies in the notes used as all are EDT. (EDP lasts longer than EDT)

Not much to complain about but I'm SICK of smelling MANGO for RR, PP, SH for their
editions! All lasts quite long on me except SH(it has lighter notes).

I'm looking foward for next year's edition and I don't regret purchasing IH and IK especially.

I like changing fragances for summer and always liked Escada ones but never tried them. This summer I bought Pacific Paradise and Sunset Heat. I kept Pacific Paradise cos it smelled kinda sweeter, more like berries and gave Sunset Heat to my mother cos it smells more of mango and pineapple, more acid. I love both!

Love, love, love, this perfume! Everytime I wear this I get compliments, mostly from men. It seems to stay pretty long on me, I wore it to a club one night, was dancing for about an hour and had probably applied it about three hours before I got there, and the guy I was dancing with still complimented me on it asking what I was wearing because I smelled amazing. I think that says it all...

I loved the frangrance, but it didn't last. I would put it on in the morning and in an hour the smell would completely disappear. I had to use so much that it finished rather quickly. Also, it doesnt spray very well.

I love this perfume! It smells amazing - fresh and fun. However, it doesn't last very long and is a bit expensive. I love Escada's summer fragances, though.

fresh, summery, fruity... but smells more like a $10 body splash from bath&bodyworks than a $60 perfume..

I disagree with a previous poster who says that anyone over 30 probably wouldn't wear this; I'm over 30 and it's a great scent (my mom loved it, too). Great scent, tropical, fruity, and fun; kind of smells like a fruity drink--but awful staying power. I just can't bring myself to rate it poorly because it is a great scent, but the staying power is not good, at least to my nose. However, it's curious that someone smelled it on me while standing at my desk when I couldn't smell it anymore while sniffing my own wrist, so maybe it has some kind of "magic" quality, ha ha......that renders the wearer's nose completely immune to it after just a few minutes.

Will probably buy again if I could get it cheaply; although I love the scent, the staying power doesn't seem to be good enough to warrant me paying full price since you have to buy the body lotion and body wash in order to remotely smell it.

I really like this fragrance. If I was older than about 30, I probably wouldn't wear this (I'm 21). It isn't a unique fragrance, just a fun, tropical, summer scent. It is very fruity and young, I think it would be nice for a younger girl's first fragrance. The staying power is so-so (on me - usually about 4 hours). The drydown happens fast, but then that scent lingers on me for a few hours (which is nice because this scent can be a little overpowering, so the drydown is just a faint fruity scent). I swapped for this fragrance and have no regrets because I really like it. But I would not buy it in a store, get it online from 1stperfume.com - it's $20 for 1.7oz - a total steal. You can also find it once in a while from TJMaxx or Marshalls for around $30 for the 3.4oz.

Escada changes this tropical perfume every Christmas season. They have tweak just a tad, but they stay pretty close to the same scent. This does take me somewhere tropical everytime I put it on. I love the fruity-floral notes that it has. The staying power needs to improve significantly, for the price that they charge for this. This is LE, so I cannot buy this again, but I would if I could.

I used to hate all of the Escada LE fragrances, I thought they all smelled the same and I was rarely pleased with any of them. It must have changed because a year ago I first smelled Pacific Paradise and I just had to have it. A year later I'm still in love with it and plan on getting another bottle of it before they have it out of circulation forever (you can still buy it at places like perfumania and such). I prefer it over sunset heat (07 LE) as I'm not much of a mango girl. I get many compliments when i wear this, even when I think it's worn off and I can't smell it anymore it seems as if others can.
I love the tropical summer scent this brings. Not too citrus-y for me either.

Very pretty fruit fragrance, but very fleeting. I put it on and literally went to sniff it again within 30 minutes, and could not locate it! That's just crazy! My body wash scent lasts longer than that! I like this, but would not spend the money for Escada; my instincts tell me that a good dupe of this could probably measure up well, and with more staying power, to boot.

I really love the scent of this. But the smell is gone really fast. My other perfumes really seem to last all day, not this one. I even bought the shower gel and lotion to "layer" so it would last longer, but I can't seem to make it stay on me. I wish it was more of a perfume rather than a cologne, but the smell is beautiful and summer-y. I will just have to reapply, I guess.

I bought a huge bottle of this at Filenes Basement at the end of the summer. I haven't worn it much but it is sweet and smells like rockin rio. I love the pineapple and fruity scent.

I love the bottles for these summer LEs that Escada comes out with, very pretty and girly. This is the first one I've bought because they smell really "body splash" to me, but it's nice for what it is. I found a large bottle of this at Marshalls for 25 dollars, so I bought it but will probably save it for summer. It reminds me of the beach, or laying by the pool.

I bought this on sale in the fall so I haven't worn it yet...it's very tropical and beachy.
I loved rockin rio so I had to have this as well.
It's very fruity and sweet...just think of a pina colada/daquiri/orangey/caramel blend. Mmmm...

this is my favorite escada perfume... its very fruity, young, and fun smelling. even though it is fruity it still has sandalwood in it, which i like.

I bought this because I liked Escadas 2005 summer fragrance Rock in Rio and in Pacific Paradise it was coconut! I love coconut!
But I dodn't like this perfume at all..it smells so cheap and sour in some way =/..and I can't even smell the coconut...Will never buy again

My signature summer scent! I fell in love with it the first tiem I sprayed--felt like biting into a cold and juicy fruit on a hot summer day. Doesn't have great lasting power, but always puts me in a good mood!
