I received this as a Christmas gift along with the body mist. I love this scent. It reminds me of cake icing, soft and subtle. It is also very moisturizing. I use this mainly for a hand lotion and it works wonders on my hands. They look very moisturized and healthy as a result of using this lotion. In addition it also moisturizes my cuticles. I will buy this product again.

I was never a big fan of Vanilla scented products, but I have to say, I really love this one. I had a coworker wearing this and had to ask what it was, it just smelled so lovely! I went straight to VS and tried it out. I love love love the warm scent of it. It makes me want something sweet. I have the Body Cream and Body Mist, great products :)

I have been using this lotion for several years now and I absolutely love it. The scent lasts all day (several days if I don't shower) and while it isn't the most moisturizing lotion out there, the fragrance is enough for me. It makes me happy to put it on every morning. By the time winter is over most of my house smells like vanilla. I'll continue buying this until Victoria's Secret discontinues it! I hope they never do.... my hg wintertime lotion.

I love vanilla fragrances usually, so it is no surprise that I love this and Warm Vanilla Sugar from Bath & Body Works. I chose the lotion, rather than the cream, because I feel that it rubs in easier and I like the "light" feeling it has to it. It moisturizes very well, too. The scent is light and very comforting, and it is a nice change from using fruity or floural lotions, which can smell overwhelming at times. The creamy, slightly musky vanilla scent lasts for a long time. It makes my skin feel soft and has an amazing, soothing feel to it. I feel better instantly after putting this on in the morning! I'll definitely repurchase, along with the matching spray.

Great fragrance, however, I think I may prefer the hand and body CREAM, cause it's thicker, but I would still buy the lotion for times my skin isn't as dry.

This product smells so good! I absoluetly love buying the Vanilla Lace line because it smells good and it makes me smell good and it silkens my legs! I love this product and its about one of my Top 5 favorite Victoria Secret products.

I just got this during their semi-annual sale... This Vanilla smells very good ! I've never bought a vanilla scented lotion/perfume before, but there is something about this Vanilla that smells warm and sweet, not cheap and obnoxious. This scent is def. similar or in the same family as Palmers cocoa butter, very warm and comforting. I'm surprised, I went out on a limb and purchased the Vanilla along with the Amber Romance. It's summertime and I am wearing the Vanilla Lace. I can definetely see it as fall fragrance, a night time fragrance or a winter fragrance. I would even wear the lotion with certain perfumes just so you can have that vanilla base to your scent. Good stuff ! A def. change from Love Spell, Pear Glace and the other fruity smells. I still like those too, but this Vanilla is something good to have on hand.

I love this smell--it's definitely one of my favorites. I don't think this lotion is the best quality though, especially when compared to BBW lotions. This just doesn't have the same moisturizing qualities. My hands still feel dry when I put on this particular kind of lotion (which is the same kind across all the VS scents). This is a nice, warm, comforting scent, but this lotion doesn't smell the same as the ultra kind. I would buy the cream instead of this. This smells a little weird.

I love the feel of VS silkening body lotions. However, I didn't like the smell. I usually love vanilla, but Vanilla Lace just smelled odd to me, like it had a plasticky note.

It smells and has the consistency of vanilla pudding. The lotions smells great, soaks in quickly, and isn't oily. However, also not especially moisturizing. The scent will make me buy it again.

I tried this at VS after seeing the raves about it, and I absolutely hated it. This lotion does not smell like how vanilla should smell to me; it smelled totally plasticky. I felt nauseous and had to wash my hands to try to get the smell out. A huge disappointment.

Oh GAWD this stuff is strong. It smells good but I wore it to work and people from the other side of the building were asking who smelled like cake within just a few minutes. The smell is delicious, but way too overpowering. I said I'd buy this again because I may try other, more understated, products in this scent.

This is by far my most favorite Victoria Secret lotion or body care product... Actually this is my favorite lotion after Ecco Bella Vanila... I mean it says that it's a vanilla scent so that is what you should expect... no less no more... But you really do get so much more... the softness and silky feel this leaves behind is fantastic the scent is divine... At times it reminds me of vanilla pudding... YUMMY!!!! It also layers with just about all my fragrances exceptionally well... I have repurchased this product over and over and will continue to do so without a doubt! Highly recommended product :)

How unfortunate it is that this is really just a vanillish sunscreen smell, with such unnecessary pigments of yellow added.... I was sad and had to throw it out =(

Note: This review is for the Luxurious Hand and Body Cream not the Ultra Moisturizing H and B cream. I LOVE this! It's great as an after shower or bath body lotion. I have been using it to soften my skin for years. I stock up on this when it's on sale. Vanilla Lace is a gorgeous scent. I use most of the VS products in Vanilla Lace. It's a sexy creamy vanilla that isn't sickeningly sweet like others. It is moisturizing and my S.O. goes crazy when I have it on!
