This has to be the worst foundation I've used in my life. The darkest shade which is Honey, was too neutral for my medium, yellow based skin tone. The foundation smelled like crayons. I hated the wand applicator-I don't like holding anything while applying foundation. I broke out with a couple huge zits the first week. The coverage was good, but it felt mask-like on my skin, and wore off quickly. I'd never buy this again!

Very nice color match, easy to blend, nice finish on less dry areas of my face, but the coverage is too sheer for me and it looks very dry by an hour or so after I put it on, accentuating flakes and looks cracked. Did not settle into fine lines though. I like the packaging well enough, but I prefer plastic squeeze tubes.

I just bought it, after switching from origins liquid foundation, i like it a lot so far. goes on thick, but overall coverage is good for me, it does seem a little too thick at times, but not too bad! the colors match my skin very well, but it does feel mask like at times.

I have acne prone, very sensitive skin that is also dry & flaky because of all the medicine I use on my face. This makeup does not accentuate the dry flakies *at all* and looks very realistic.

I really liked this foundation--at first. When I intially put it on it gave my dry skin a really nice glow and covered well. The problem is it just doesn't last on me. I starting to think nothing will. The search continues...

This foundation is OK. The best thing it has going for it is Pale 01 is the best match I've found so far for my ghostly white skin. It's not too pink or too yellow. So, that's a good thing. I like the texture of this--very thick--so I'm surprised the coverage isn't better. This is pretty sheer, and I need (and want) more. I want thick geisha girl foundation. There seems to be a lot of product (for $11-freaking-dollars at Wal-Mart, there better be a buttload of product...). The staying power is all right. I'm a walking oil slick and normally, by the end of the day, all my foundation has slid off. Today after I got home from work, there actually was some makeup on my face to take off. The worst thing about this foundation is the smell. It smells terrible--like plastic. I've had this itchy area on my jaw since I began wearing this foundation, and I'm hoping the two aren't related. All in all, an OK foundation. Even though the color is right for me, I'm going to keep searching for my HG.

So far I love this foundation. I really LOVE the SPF 15 of titanium and zinc. This consistancy is wonderful. I have oily/combo skin and it works perfectly - has lasted all day. Had to buy two colors to get a good match but at $11 that's no problem.

I just started using this and really like it. Have gotten great compliments on how my skin looks. Returned both Laura Mercier and Armani for this!

This is one of the best drugstore foundations ever! I have a combo/dry skin and flakiness is my biggest concern with foundations.

This is one of the most expensive drugstore foundations. ($ CDN 18-19 or so) However, the texture of this foundation is divine! It is gel-cream and glide on so easily. Also, it is very blendable, if you get the right colour it will look like you have a healthy complexion rather than you are wearing makeup. It feels moisturising but not greasy on top of your skin.

The finish is dewy and luminous. (not greasy though) It also doesn't accentuate my pores or flakiness. The coverage is sheer-medium.

I absolutely recommend this to every one who like smooth&dewy finish. (or have problems with flakies like me)

at 48 getting acne..i suspected it was from years of wearing Revlon Colorstay. I decided to try the Almay Skin Smoothing Foundation and I'm pleased to say my skin after 2 weeks has cleared up! I am using Tan and find it blends well, covers redness and makes my skin look smooth and glowing. It even is holding up during this heat and humidity wave in Southern Calif, last almost all day, cleans up well and has cleared my skin. Also doesn't settle into lines or pores. I love it! Will be purchasing a new bottle in a lighter shade as my tan is fading.

I'm surprised at all of the raves for this foundation. A year or so ago, my mom bought this foundation, and I was playing around with it and realized that I didn't like it at all. I don't know if my mom was actually using it on a regular basis, but even she has moved on by now. It didn't feel natural on me, and it felt like it just sat on top of my skin, and made my nose look super shiny. I don't equate slickness with luminosity and so I was greatly disappointed. It gets a good packaging score though, because I liked the ball attached to the cap.

I have combination skin and I use this on my dry areas. This really brightens and evens my complexion while smoothing my lines.I like that this also makes colors that actually match my skintone.

i like this product because it matches my skin well. it has a good texture but it doesn't hide my imperfections that well. tho the ball in the middle of the cap helps.

My skin is quite the snob, but it really likes the Kinetin foundation :) I don't use it exclusively or anything, but I am on my 2nd bottle. As always, I would prefer a pump bottle, but I think the foundation is good enough that it doesn't deserve a lippie off for not having a pump. It's the best drugstore foundation I've come across--- lightweight, medium to full coverage, semi-matte finish, and longlasting. I've found a great color match with the shade Neutral, and I'm a MAC C3 and Aromaleigh 2W. I also have sensitive, acne-prone, combo skin, and would suggest it for anyone of the same skin type.

I did not like this foundation. I am 33 with dry skin. This foundation is very drying and settles into fine lines and dries. This would be a good product for someone with normal skin and no lines

This foundation has a nice texture that goes on smoothly and blends well and has pretty good staying power, but it doesn't provide enough coverage to hide all my imperfections. This would be a great foundation for someone with fewer imperfections.

I really like this makeup, the ball in the middle of the cap is kind of nice, different and helps scoop out product. The color is very natural and goes on smoothly and is quite flattering. The formula also lasts a very long time, wears well, looks great on and has great ingredients like spf and kinetin, a much touted skin smoothing agent; good stuff, one of my fave Almay makeups in addition to Amazing Lasting.

UPDATE I will not repurchase. I really prefer Mineral makeup. Not bad for a liquid at a drugstore price. Changed to not repurchased.

This is an excellent foundation that blends easy and looks natural. I like the applicator in the top. Fragrance free and does not cause breakouts.
I purchased buff. It does not settle into pores/lines.

This product came with a bonus item of the concealer. Nice concealer with brush for areas around eyes etc.

I loved the coverage and finish (slightly dewy, better suited to normal or dry skin) of this foundation as well as the titanium dioxide-based SPF 15, but I'm a bit nervous about the kinetin (don't really know what, if anything, it does) and the packaging is a bit clumsy. Since the foundation is slightly thick, a plastic squeeze tube would've been better instead of a glass bottle with a strange ball-tipped applicator. Overall, a very nice foundation with good neutral shades though I had to blend two colors as usual.
