I bought this while at LUSH for the first time. For reference, I have combination, acne prone skin. I was having some trouble with breakouts and dull skin, and while I was at LUSH, the SA recommended this to me, saying it would be perfect for my skin.

The worst thing about this mask is the way it smells. It's a really overpowering and strong blend mint and herbs. If the mask helped, I wouldn't complain, but it was useless. I bought a super tiny pot that lasted 5 times, and it was pretty expensive (even more expensive if you consider what I got).
The little bits are exfoliating, but they aren't round, they're too gritty and harsh. This is not soothing, it did not make my skin look refreshed / rejuvenated / glowy. My breakouts have not been reduced at all. It just inflamed them even more. My skin felt so dry, and I have a very oily t zone. This mask burns and stings! I don't even have sensitive skin. The mint was so strong it made my eyes tear. I couldn't even open my eyes beacuse they would turn red. My face was red, irritated and dry when I took it off.
I will not buy this again. It's useless.

This is my first venture into Lush products, and I absolutely LOVE it. I went into the store to check it out after reading some positive blog reviews. The SA put some of this on my hand in the store for me to try, and I was wowed! My hand was super smooth and soft. I brought it home and tried it on my face, and it's amazing! It leaves my face feeling clean and velvety soft and really super smooth. I have huge pores and this definitely makes them appear smaller, at least for a little while. I love the way my skin feels after using this. I use it once a week. I leave it on for about 10 minutes or so. It is a little on the expensive side, but you don't need a thick layer, so a jar will last a long time. It's well worth it anyway. :) I'm thrilled that I found it and will definitely keep buying this as long as they keep making it!

I purchased this product also on my first visit to LUSH. You only need a small amount. I wet my face and then apply the product all over my face. As it sits on my face, I normally feel a tingling feeling but it doesn't bother me. I let the mask dry and then when I am ready to wash it off, I use a little bit of water to moisten my face and scrub the scrub the mask off my face. After I rinse, my face feels so soft and smooth. I use this product along with the ocean salt scrub. I had really bad hormonal acne and oily prone skin. Now my skin is soft, smooth and I only get the occasional acne here and there.

LOVELOVELOVE! This mask is truly great. It gives my face a cooling sensation and when washed off leaves my skin looking more even toned, fresh and clear! It makes your face super soft too. I use it up to twice a week and it really works well for me! I will deff be buying it again :)

so, im almost done with my tub! i use this whenever i can. it says that you should only wear it for 10-15 minutes, but i leave it on over night and it works WONDERS. i just used this last night and was recovering from a week of horrible skin purging thanks to baking soda... and i woke up to a face that was almost clear. it had gotten rid of almost all of my pimples. the cooling sensation was so lovely, and the smell is a bit like mint chocolate to me. by the way, just from last night, ive learned that a little bit goes a longggg way; putting a thick amount on just doesnt seem to work. i think ive had this product for about amonth now and my skin is adapting to it and learning to work with it, because its getting better now. also, dont rub too hard when taking it off. use warm water. it expires within 3 to 4 months, and i still have quite a lot left despite the fact that i use this every few days. its just lovely. i might purchase this again, but theres so many other masks at lush to choose from, i think ill experiment with others before i settle with this one.

I use this mask 2-3 times a week and it makes my skin look more even and makes it softer. Though, it does make my skin a liiiittle drier and my skin is dry already. I don't really have "problem skin" as in being red and acne prone, but I think this mask would be perfect for those who do....this mask is sooo refreshing and removes all dirt. Only "problem" I have on my skin is that I have lots of whiteheads, and this mask helped remove them after just a day's use, or at least made them tinier and invisible. I would looove to see what this mask would do if I had more pimples on my face. Anyway, the pros definitely outweigh the cons, and I'll gladly buy this mask again! I actually used this mask an hour ago and I feel sooo clean now, haha. I love the smell too.

WOW. This product blew my mind.
I'll be honest, I've used it only twice since I bought it.
BUT, I have been having some weird skin issues, due in part to allergies.
I digress.
I've used this on my strangely broken out, pissed off face twice, before bed. Each time I've woken up my pimples are smaller and dried out, and the clarity of my skin much improved.
The minty tingle *is intense*. The first time I used it I thought "oh man, I'm gonna have red, angry skin" but no! My skin was calmed, less dry and plumper. I thought "Meh, anything new seems like 'The Answer'...we will see next time"
Well the next time, which was last night really proved this masks mettle. I woke up this morning with even better results than the first time. Tis awesome and I love it.
I will review in one week's time again.
***UPDATE*** This mask is AWESOME. I have the Sebum Clearing Mask by Dermalogica and Magnaminty blows that crap outta the water, and literally a 1/4 of the price.

i was told about this mask by a friend who claimed it was a miracle, and boy was she right. this mask speeds up acne recovery, successfully removes dead skin cells, and leaves skin looking wonderful. people complain about the packaging because it's in a little tub, which may seem unsanitary, but i don't really have a problem with it. the LUSH line can be a little pricey, but if you go through the UK website, you can find products for cheaper, it just takes a little longer for delivery. but this product is absolutely wonderful. i love everything from LUSH.

The smell is alright, a little funky. It does temporarily tighten pores and I will keep using it regularly to see if it clears my skin up or works on blackheads.

An overall "meh" for me.
I bought this after reading rave reviews about how it helps with blackheads, and having a facefull of those I was keen to try it.

On the way home after buying it, I couldn't keep my nose out of the pot. It smelt so good! I love mint.

But that's about the only amazing thing I have to say about it. It didn't help my blackheads. It didn't actually do anything to my skin. It's pretty much no different.

And I don't know what it was, but after applying it my face BURNT. I don't have sensitive skin, but I have a feeling this was the "Cooling" affect the tub promises. It's a cold-burn, like applying pure menthol to your face. I hated it, I can't stand the cold.

I love this mask! It has a really strong minty smell, kinda like toothpaste actually. It also feels very strong on your skin. Hurts a lot if you ask me, but you'll get used to it. I have used it twice a week for about three weeks now and I have notice some significant changes in my skin! It's less red and my skintone is even. The mask even makes some blackheads fall off which is amazing! (I don't have to do any work, haha!) So this mask is absolutely a must have! Made my skin look great!

I bought this as I'm pregnant and can't use anything too chemically. This works a treat for getting rid of excess oil, evening out your complexion and reducing spot size. Although it is expensive for a small and not so extravagantly packaged pot, I most definately think it's worth the money, considering what the mask itself does. I only use this once a week as it's quite powerful considering it only contains natural ingredients. I also keep it in the fridge to help keep it fresh.

This products is expensive like $25?. just for a lil container that is make out of cardboard not an good quality of package and plus i have acne it made it worst for me plus its so gooe. YUCK! lastly don't waste any money on lush products its just too expensive plus at the end of day your not going to be happy!

This was my first product from Lush and I must say that I am very impressed. The mask left me with a really fresh and clean feeling. It also kept my skin refreshed and clean, and it worked wonders for my pores.
The mask has some cons though, the packing sucks and is really unsanitary. The mask is also very thick and clumpy. It is impossible to avoid getting messy with this product. If you have long nails you will get this mask under them.

I really like this mask! While I have it on, I can really feel it deep cleaning, and it does sting. After it dries, I make sure to really scrub, and take my time. It really does make my face squeaky clean. Will repurchase, because it is pretty affordable.

I was a little hesitant about buying this mash because I've tried the mint julep one which didn't impress me at all but thank god for an impulse buy at the Lush store

This is the BEST mask I've ever used. I have oily/combination skin with blackheads and pores. I make sure my skin is damp and I'll put a teaspoon on myface.This mask feels cool when applied and doesn't take long to dry.

The results are amazing!
- Even skintone (drastically reduces redness and blotchy skin)
- Leaves your skin supersoft
- Removes blackheads and shrinks pores
- Leaves skin feeling extra clean but not dry
- Helps fade pimple scarring
- Reduces pimples and breakouts

I actually had a medium size pimple on my forehead and I applied this mask just on the pimple and it dissapeared overnight!

I use this mask every 2-3 days and now I don't even need to use liquid foundation. Just concealer and a light dust of powder.

HIGHLY recommended!

I like this mask, even though I don't see any concrete effects on my skin.
I got the small size jar, since it's an expensive product, and I wasn't sure if it would agree with my skin or not.
I've been using it for about 3 weeks, every few days, and I like how it feels on (very cooling, minty), and I like the smell (yummy).
It hasn't broken me out or given me any adverse reaction, but I can't say it improved my skin a lot. Maybe my face is brighter and smoother, but I don't know if it's this product or other stuff that I'm using (I recently introduced glycolic acid into my routine).
I keep it on until it feels dry, then rinse with lukewarm water, and it rinses clean and leaves my face soft.
I said I would repurchase, because I think it's a good product, but in reality I may not, only because there are other masks out there, cheaper and that do the same thing. If it was cheaper, then yes, I'd definitely repurchase.

Everyone has written raving reviews here so I am guessing that this might just be me! I'm tempted to try the mask a few more times just to see if the hype is real but after my first experience I'm pretty reluctant... This mask broke me out like CRAZY and I don't consider myself to have sensitive skin. I get break outs fairly often, but the scale of this one on my left cheek was bigger than I've had in a long looong time. The day after using the mask I noticed quite a few small pimples around the area, but it's now 2 days after and they have grown, spread and left me self-conscious. Obviously there's no way for me to tell whether it has just been the mask causing the break out, but I used my normal skin routine alongside it which generally doesn't cause me any problems... and it was the morning after using the mask I first noticed problems. By all means if you still want to try the mask - do. Just putting a warning out there that it might not be suitable for everyone :(

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS PRODUCT. It does miracles to my skin! I have only used it for 3 days, but I already see a huge difference.
I've been struggling with blackheads around my nose for a while now and have a real hard time removing them. After the first time using this mask, I looked in the mirror and went "Where did all my blackheads go?".
The mask feels soooo fresh on my skin. The mint gives it a real cooling affect and makes it feel like the mask is doing something. The mask also reduces redness and really does even out my skin tone. My face looks great after it! You honestly dont need much product at all to cover your whole face. I bought the smaller container, but i think ill be able to last until the expiry date since the amount of product needed is so little! I would definitely recommend this to everyone.
