Being a line-smoothing concealer, it does what it claims to do. It IS a GREAT concealer for the undereye area: it moisturizes the area, provides a little hydration and stays put. However, it feels just meh when applied to zits, dark spots, and other problem areas. Probably it's too moisturizing to target those concerns, so it will melt and come off, and the colour doesn't even match!
I've had this for, like, 1 1/2 year and I will use it up but won't repurchase, as I don't like travelling around with 2 or 3 different types of concealer: I just want to find one that does it all!

I've been using this concealer for my undereyes for years now. I am Asian NC35 skintone and it's hard to find a good concealer that doesn't have too many pink undertones--I bought this in medium honey and it's perfect! Really great, smooth consistency and lasts all throughout my work day. Overall, really great everyday reliable concealer. I have repurchased multiple times!

A great concealer, I am onto my second one already. I am asian with light-medium skin. The 03 Moderately Fair is an almost perfect match. It glides on smoothly and is non drying, covering small scars and broken capillaries well. As an undereye concealer, which is its intended function, it is not too bad, but I have seen better. It lasts about half a day and will require a touch up about mid afternoon.

I bought this concealer over Christmas when the airline lost our luggage and I had to get something quick. I have it in Light 02, which is a pretty close match to my skin, though not perfect. I often find that I'm too light for Clinique to find a perfect match.
As far as the product goes: I think it's easy to blend and a good overall consistency. I don't love it over blemishes, because I think it highlights them more than anything (I think that's always the case with a drying-out blemish), but it works well under my eyes and on any new red spots. I usually touch the applicator to my hand and apply with a brush or my finger from there, as not to infect the product in the container by using the doe-foot applicator provided.
I'm not sure I would purchase again, but only because I enjoy trying different concealers. I still said I would for review purposes, because I think it's a product worthy of trying.

Good concealer...I have one under eye wrinkle that always creases, no matter what product used. This concealer covered my dark circles, but sadly creased slightly even when set with powder....the search continues!

I have tried a lot of different concealors in the past, and they were all disappointing. After a while, I tried Clinique because I know that they are good for you and are one of the top brands. I really love this concealer! It covers my blemishes really well so that I end up with that flawless skin. And what's even better is that this product isn't so pricey! Drug store brands tend to be around $6 and never work, but this can be bought for $14 and works wonders! I would definitely buy this again.

My main problem with this concealer is the lack of shades. There is only one shade that is suitable for black women! It's crazy because black skin has such a variety tones, and just one shade isn't going to cut it.
I do like the way the product blends, and it doesn't settle into my fine lines (I'm 24, but there are visible fine lines under my eyes in my kindergarten pictures). But, it is just too dark for me, and the next lighter is ridiculously light.

Wonderful product. I used to work for Clinique and used this on almost everyone in the undereye area. It is great if you have dark shadows, lines, and a great base that is not marketed as a base. It has optical diffusers that really put a soft mask over your imperfections. I love it, and I swear my complexion evens out so much, when I use this all over. It's great to use as a highlighter too mixed with some gold for shadowing. The lasting power is great and it doesn't settle or feel slimy on your skin. It's a little pricey, but I think that a great concealer and foundation deserve to be pricey, because that's the foudation for great makeup! The foundation that you build is that platform for the rest of your products.

I was in Sephora a few days ago and the SA was helping me with finding a good concealer. She recommended this, and put it on under my eyes. Perfect match for my skin tone and covered my (horrible, very dark, hereditary, but not puffy) dark circles fairly well. However, when she put a little on my cheek to make sure it would blend in with my face, it immediately started oxidizing. She was the manager and she said she had NEVER seen something oxidize that darkly on someone's skin. It went about three shades darker than what it was supposed to be! Also, within a minute, my skin began to get red and develop little bumps under it. Thankfully, she took it off right away. I would NEVER recommend this to someone with sensitive skin like mine. Also, test it in the store to make sure it won't oxidize horribly on your skin.
Side note: I gave it a low packaging rating because I think concealers with wands are quite unhygienic.

Im sorry but i absoulutly hate this product with a passion. First of all the lightest shade is waaaaaaay to dark and yellow toned. You can totally see it through my powder and it gives pretty much no coverage. It doesnt cover dark circles well either. i think im gonna go burn mine.

This sucks LOL. No matter how much I moisturized my eye area, no matter what I did, it managed to cake up and flake and look terrible. It didn't cover anything I wanted it to and dried my eyes area. Would not repurchase. Disappointed in you Clinique!

This concealer is exactly like the covergirl's. They're both pink based, which doesn't work for my yellow NC25 Asian skin. Since this didn't work out for dark spots I tried using it for undereyes.
It's blendability is okay, but it doesn't smooth out lines! I have very tiny wrinkle underneath my eyes and when I put this on it gets super noticable! Forget finishing it with powder in hopes of matching it to your skin. The coverage is crap, it turns my undereye circles dark pinkish. I get better coverage from my foundation.
If you have pink undertones this might work, but seriously the covergirl one's EXACTLY like this and much cheaper. Just be careful if you have undereye wrinkles because it does not smooth it out.

Like the name suggests, the Line-Smoothing Concealer smooths over lines using a special bridge technology. I use this for touch ups over my existing makeup and it doesnt cake nor crease. Really amazing stuff but the shades are pretty limited. 03 Moderately Fair is too fair for my dark circles (creates reverse raccoon look, not pretty) but 04 Medium is way too pink and dark. I end up having to mix the both of them to get a correct shade.

I LOVE this product! The first concealer I've ever bought and fell in love. I have so many acne scars and this concealer covers them up so well. Sorry for the other guys and gals that don't have the perfect shade for this product but I found my perfect shade. This item blends very well and doesn't sink into the 1-2 premature wrinkles (that're clearing up!) I have under my eyes. Best of all, it doesn't feel heavy on my skin and doesn't break me out.
Buying again and soon!

I had high hopes for this concealer because I use to like Cinique products very much. Unfortunately it disappointed me – it’s heavy and sticky, the shade is too dark for me (I use Light) and it is very visible when I set my face with powder. Also, when I try to conceal imperfections it tends to dry them out so it makes them even more visible.

When it comes to undereye circles – it gave me horrible eye lines and the coverage is not so good either (I have quite dark undereyes), it tends to darken even more when I put it around eye areas. Still, it reflects light nicely but that’s about the only nice thing I can tell about it.
Will not repurchase.

First off: the unsatisfactory color selection. I was bikini-clad on a California beach a while back, and some random guy walked by and exclaimed "Damn, that girl is white!" If a Clinique rep had been next to him, she would have nodded in agreement. The lightest shade in this concealer (02 - Light) is too dark. In basements and bars it looks great, but in bright light or outside, it's obvious that it doesn't blend well--you can see little beigy spots on my face where the concealer is. Shade 03, "Moderately Fair", looks even darker. What I need is a shade 01, which is mysteriously absent in this concealer (I have never been able to find it anywhere). Why would they start with 02? Please, Clinique, some love for us natural-born goths?

Second: the performance of the concealer itself. It works pretty well. When I dot it on and pat it in over moisturizer, it seems to go on flawlessly. I like the moderate-to-full yet smooth consistency. It does not fully disguise splotchy redness, but it makes it look better. The main problem is that it doesn't work so well on areas larger than a spot. If I try to cover my nose with a light layer and set it with powder, it seems to grab onto the powder somehow and bunch into lots of tiny speckles, through which you can see the redness I was trying to conceal. Without powder, it rubs off and settles into lines. So, I just skip my nose and use foundation there. Bottom line: it's better as a spot concealer.

Also, I love the tube and applicator. Very convenient and easy to dot in and blend (by patting) with my little finger. No need for a separate brush.

Overall, I like it and it is one of the best formulas I have used. So sad that the shade is wrong for me. I will keep using it until it runs out because I prefer beigey spots to splotchy redness, but I will probably not repurchase when I run out, unless Clinique decides to make this in 01 - Fair.

Love. One of the only products I come back to again and again. I use this for under my eyes and even though I don't need to really smooth lines I find that it does an excellent job at hiding dark circles. It also is not noticeable at all (I have the lightest shade). It stays put all day and the best part is that because of the line smoothing feature it seems to not crease or make under my eyes look crepe-y. Would recommend for any age and any skin type.

I like it , it covers most of my pores and spots and won't make my face dry or break out. It's a great concealer for people who have better skin condition or when you want a full coverage, this is your choice. But i have acnes all the time so i really like to find something natural .

I've tried a lot of concealers...I have allergies which causes deep blue circles under my eyes. Most of the concealers I've tried have been cakey or too yellow - even the pricey ones. Decided one more try at the Clinique counter and the MA pointed this product out for me. I use the applicator (same as a gloss) to dab a bit under my eyes and then I smooth with a concealer brush. Stays put all day and is a great match. I bought mine in fair (I'm an NC 15). Can't live without it now!
