I got a sample of this with a GWP and was really impressed, so I bought a full size tube. This works miracles on my pores. I just use it on my nose and chin in the shower, rinse it off, and my pores instantly look smaller, and blackheads are virtually gone. It dones get pretty hot, so I wouldn't recommend this for sensitive skin.

If nothing else, I would buy this just for how good it felt on my face. It heats up instantly but never too hot and after a long day it's a very relaxing treat! I really don't see it doing anything too wonderful for my pores but it's very gentle and doesn't cuase any irriation or breakouts which is a god send on my cranky skin. If the price doesn't bother you I'd suggest giving it a try or go on ebay and buy the gwp sizes.

This is a nice exfoliant. The only drawback for me is that it leaves a funny taste in my mouth (how it gets into my mouth disturbs me a little, as I am careful about keeping my mouth firmly shut when I use facial products). I like the warming feel (I use it in the shower), and my skin feels very soft afterwards. I received this as a GWP, and will probably buy it when my sample runs out.

OUCH! Maybe it had to happen some day: my first ever reaction to a product. It stang when I applied it so I washed it off immediately, but the whole area where I applied it is red and my skin looks burnt. Seriously, burnt.
Looking at some of the recent reviews below mine I can see I'm not the only who's had this. I recommend not buying this, and if you have a sample which you desperately want to try, PLEASE do a tiny patch test first. it's just not worth it, I'm in pain and my face looks horrific.

I raved about this product when i first got it (below) now im not to sure about it.. after i use it the area of skin stings for a bit (ok after a while) and i get a red rash which disapears after a while. It doesnt really minimise pores (they are quite deep) i think i am less oily though.

I don't know, this product didn't work for me at all. I have little blackheads and whiteheads on my nose and I decided to try this out after reading the two reviews here in hopes of getting rid of the majority of them.
I first removed my eye makeup with Take the Day Off, then used the Foaming Mousse cleanser to remove makeup (I usually don't use the mousse cleanser but it said to apply the pore minimizer on clean skin, and I didn't feel very safe using this after the 3-step system). I put a small amount on my fingers and gently massaged it over my whole face. The heating sensation is pretty interesting, but it didn't last very long, probably 5 seconds after the stuff came in contact with water. Immediately after I applied this stuff on my face, I felt my skin sting and it started to turn red. The same thing happened to my nose, but a little less serious. I thought it was stinging because it was deep cleansing, so I just carried on. The exfoliating beads were small, but I don't think that helped in any way. I exfoliated my nose a little bit, then washed the stuff off my face and the stinging stopped. Then I used the soap, the clarifying lotion, and the moisturizing gel; what I usually would do.
I have soft, pretty smooth skin on my cheeks and forehead and I was shocked by the irration this stuff caused on everywhere BUT my nose and chin; there were random small patches of red on my cheeks and small red bumps forming slowly. My skin didn't feel soft or smooth at ALL. It felt flaky, bumpy and rough. I didn't notice any difference in my nose area, either, although it claims it'll minimize pores "instantly and over time". Well, I guess the first didn't happen and the latter will not happen. I was going to give this another shot but I don't think risking the irritation is worth it. I have applied many kinds of moisturizers and Body Shop's vitamin C treatment to get rid of the redness--Will return it tomorrow.
Update: Thanks to the moisturizers and the vitamin C, my skin is finally back to normal and the bumps are all gone. My skin still feels very dry though, so I don't think this is suitable for Clinique skin type I, II, and maybe even III (which I am).

I was very impressed when i first used this product, the way it literally opened up the pores (blackheads) on my nose and dislodged them! amazing stuff..the heat is a bit freaky but obviously works! i havent used this on an ongoing basis so i will get back on the long-term use.

I got a couple of samples of this stuff and it's great! Its like a warm exfoliant that opens up your pores to get rid of junk.
Don't try tasting it when you're in the shower, its so gross tasting
