This is my go-to lotion in the winter time! It seems like whenever the cold hits, my skin gets super dry and my regular lotion won't cut it, so I use this. It does what it says in the fact that it absorbs quickly and is non-greasy. Nothing gets me more than when a lotion is greasy feeling! Amazing lotion, especially in the winter.

Wow. I bought this product a few weeks ago and am truly amazed by the results. With winter approaching, I initially decided to use it only on my hands and purchased the small travel size tube. After a couple of days, my hands were incredibly soft. I now have the larger 14oz bottle which I use all over after I shower. I absolutely love this lotion!

I began using this because washing the dishes was drying out my hands and making them itcy. I LOVE this lotion because it delivers moisture but absorbs quickly enough. It is also fairly inexpensive in addition to be the best hand lotion I've ever tried.

I am always trying hand lotions/creams because I have to wash my hands a lot at work. I came across this cream one night at work and had to buy a bottle of my own. This cream really is what it promotes - "penetrates fast, non-greasy, fresh clean scent". I got the aloe...it smells great and not too strong for work use. I only use it for my hands and elbows cause this cream is so creamy I find it hard to rub it all over as a body lotion. My hands feel very creamy for a few minutes after use, so I usually massage my hands and rub the cream into my cuticles. The only problem I had with this was the bottle cap came off and it's not the kind where you can just twist it back on. Good thing I was almost done with the bottle...hope the next bottle won't do that. Otherwise...Great cream! Love the scent! Will buy again!

Wow, I don't think I've ever been this disappointed by a product. By far and away this seemed to be THE answer for persistent cracked, dry skin, was hypoallergenic and even safe to use as a facial moisturizer(!).

Well, I initially bought the new Gold Bond Ultimate Healing concentrated therapy cream and applied it on my knuckles on both hands(which get cracked and bleed, why I bought this). There was immediate relief, although the redness was still there, but at least it didn't feel as dry. A couple hours later I look and see that my knuckles looked more red than before, but I chocked that up to being outside and the still persistent dryness. I purchased the trial bottle Gold Bond Ultimate Healing Therapy Lotion w/ Aloe earlier that day for my car and reapplied. An hour later I saw my knuckles were furiously red, splotchy, and I could literally see exactly where I put the moisturizer because that was the only area that got inflamed and spotty. Some small scabs even formed which was weird because before I wasn't bleeding before I put this on. I immediately washed my hands and my knuckles didn't go back to normal for a couple days, although once I tried Aquaphor the dryness went away and didn't provoke the same reaction.

I've never had this sort of reaction from a moisturizer before and I'm not allergic to jojoba oil or shea butter. I have no idea what happened but I very strongly urge those who tend to have allergies to do a patch test with this lotion, because though I have sensitive skin I never have had an allergic reaction before. I don't know what I'm allergic to but I'm from now on staying far, far away from any Gold Bond products.

Ok, got this small version for keeping in car for combating the the dry heat inside and the hard coldness outside, esply my hands. I traveled a couple of hours when it was around 40 deg or less i think, my face was just tight, so tried "something" to protect and am so glad i stumbled upon gold bond..

Not a fancy name, but this is worth every cent. i started to use this instead of my traditional vaseline or crisco or safflower oil (you see am trying to be frugal - its me convincing myself!) to seal my skin after OCM, i cant beleive my eyes..i can see glass like smoothness of my skin on face and neck, so i got a pump bottle of this lotion just for trial.

How i check results for a skin product:
1. General wow factor i tell to myself (which is not so often but off late with ocm and gold bod).Cant stop touching my face which i need to stop seriously.
2. Checking with tweezermnan magnified mirror when i DONT APPLY this lotion - my pores are absolutely invisible, clean, no blackheads. The reason for this point is there are many people who have written that it is a protectant and not absorbed, if thats the case my skin would be in its original bad state hours after not using this lotion, right? I tried hours of intervals before i came to the conclusion.
3. No itchiness or allergic reaction
4. I know something is absolutely working if i have used it continously for more than a week (am not so loyal to products or i should say i am a guinea pig to my own experiments).
5. Clearing spots, best eye cream, the possibilities are endless.

It might be OCM or goldbond but i know after starting with goldbond lotion, my skin is very happy.

This combination has helped me a LOT and i get compliments from strangers (not usual with me):
1. No soap on face just OCM (castor oil is the main one with any oil to add for moisture - currently using avacado and safflower oil mix).
2. Yogurt, honey, oatmeal, sugar mixed to mask my face after cleaning out with ocm. and then SLIGHLY scrubbing my splashing water for natural acids to work.
3. As soon as my shower ends, apply goldbond ( my skin is great when i use petrolatun, dont know why) all over.
4. Sunscreen spf 28 garnier in the AM time.
5. Addition: Natural factors fish and flax seed oil and a multivitamin along with Vit D.
6. Most importantly less is more and put the product on a slightly damp skin for efficacy.and the technique to apply face cram/lotion.. do not pull the skin with this tacky tesxture lotion, just pat and pat and pat with firmness and upward/outside stroke. Concentrating on hanging ends or corners of either sides - ends of eyebrows, ends of eyes, ends of nose, ends of lips will give a good plump. Notice how skin starts to 'age' at this corners first (gravity or less muscle tone).

Evening routine - OCM, goldbond, that is it. See how much this regimen costs? BTW, i have acne prone, combination which can be annoyingly oily or dry-tight depending on what i ate, the temperature, stress, hydration factor. i look so well for 37 years than i was in my teens or early adulthood. I developed an inferiority complex because of 'bad' skin but now am suddenly feeling confident, not trying to be shallow but we need to 'feel' good and see results desirable for us, right? i do beleive the products am using are the integral part of my good skin now.

I found the ingredients interesting: Water, Glycerin, Dimethicone, Petrolatum, Jojoba Esters, Cetyl Alcohol, Aloe Barbadensis Leaf Juice, Stearyl Alcohol, Distearyldimonium Chloride, Cetearyl Alcohol, Steareth 21, Steareth 2, Propylene Glycol, Chamomilla Recutita Flower Extract (Matricaria), Polysorbate 60, Stearamidopropyl PG Dimonium Chloride Phosphate, Methyl Gluceth 20, Tocopheryl Acetate, Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate, Hydrolyzed Collagen, Hydrolyzed Elastin, Retinyl Palmitate, Hydrolyzed Jojoba Esters, Glyceryl Stearate, Dipotassium EDTA, Fragrance, Potassium Hydroxide, Diazolidinyl Urea, Methylparaben, Propylparaben

WATER, glycerin, dimethicone, petrolatum, jojoba esters, aloe, chamomile, toc. acetate, MAP ( the most effective from of Vit C), hydrolyzed collagen-elastin (waterbinding to plump skin temporarily) are great ingredients. In my opinion, it is rare to have a product which has many good ingredients. i dont care about parabens as long as they dont form the first 6 ingredients in a product.

Thanks for reading my review, i hope this will help someone with skin similar to me..

Oh also, you can use your flexible spending ac to get the lotion, it saves you the tax.

I've known about this product for years but I never considered trying it. The name turned me off. It reminded me of something someone would use for jock itch or foot fungus. Gross. Why would I put that on my hands? LOL! Anyway, they had little purse-size tubes of this at Walgreens for 99 cents and it just happens that my little purse tube of lotion had run out the day before. I chastised myself for thinking this stuff was gross just based on the name and bought one. I'm so glad I did. I LOVE it. My super-dry winter hands are very soft and the moisture lasts all day, even after I wash. This stuff sinks in really well, is not oily or greasy, moisturizes like crazy, doesn't have any kind of smell, and is very reasonably priced. Now if we could just do something about that name...

This by far, the best lotion for preventing and healing extra dry skin. My extremely dry/chapped skin finds relief in just one application. It is just as it claims. No gimmick, no lie. After absorption into the skin, it doesn't feel greasy or oily. Some nights, when I feel my skin is very dry and I can't sleep because of it. I apply this lotion and the discomfort disappears immediately. I can't recommend this lotion enough.

One of the best lotions I've ever tried. My hands are very sensitive for some reason, especially to scented lotions, but this lotion doesn't irritate them! It provides the moisture and the healing my hands need. Just using it once a day is enough to keep them healthy. I get compliments on how soft my hands are all the time, and the natural scent is clean and not overpowering. My only complaint is that sometimes it takes a while to sink in and leaves my hands slightly oily, but that could just be that I use too much sometimes!

This is great stuff. I got it at Walmart for pretty cheap, after looking for a winter hand and body lotion for a long time. This lotion is incredibly moisturizing, and doesn't wash off when you wash your hands (they still feel moisturized). I feel like the moisture is really locked into my skin. The formula is thick and creamy. I am grateful to the ladies on the skin care board for recommending this stuff - will def. repurchase!

I LOVE this product. I purchased a travel size and went back to the store the next day to buy the full size. I have very dry skin in the winter and this is the only product that leaves my skin moisturized all day. My feet are especially dry. I slather this stuff on my feet after my shower - put on some cotton socks while I'm getting ready and they stay soft all day. I keep this stuff all over my house-both the lotion and the cream. The cream works wonders on my dry hands and the lotion is a great all over body moisturizer. If you suffer from dry skin definately give this a try!

If you like Kiehl's hand cream but don't want to pay the price or have to seek out an elusive Kiehl's retailer--this will be your new favorite hand cream. My love affair started with a 99 cent trial at the Target travel mini-products counter. I bought a couple of those with the aloe and then returned to buy the ultimate restoring formula with CoQ10 for about 8 bucks. I give high marks for the texture, the tube, the scent and certainly the longevity after use. It's so nice to find something new that's so inexpensive and accessible.

I was waffling between this product and Neutrogena's Norwegian Formula, but decided on Gold Bond because of the ingredient list which many other people have posted already. I'm lukewarm on the scent which reminds me of aloe and cucumbers, but it's a very effective moisturizer. It does leave my hands feeling a little slick---not really greasy but slippery---however anything with humectants like glycerin and urea feels the same and is part of why those products are so effective, so it's acceptable to me and I principally use it before bed. I've started trying it as an eye cream so we'll see how that goes, but overall highly recommended for serious moisture.

Bought this while I was doing clinical training as a nursing assistant and constantly had to wash my hands. Worked wonders. Prevented my knuckles from cracking and my hands from feeling tight. It also helped protect my hands while they healed from being chapped from all of the washing I had been doing before I purchased the lotion.

I would say that this is more like a cream in consistency, and I like that. Works well on hands and body, and occasionally my face when winter attacks my skin or I'm tender from blowing my nose.

Fresh scent.

Walmart's generic version seemed to work just as well for me as the brand name version though they have a slightly different scent.

Bought the generic version of this product at Wal-Mart.
Around $5 for 14oz. Cant beat that. All I can say is it's the best moisturizer I've ever used. PERIOD!!!!!
On another forum I frequent, a chemist who claims helped develop this product said that the combination of glycerin and jojoba esters where the key to why it's so effective.

PROS: This is VERY moisturizing. It has almost no scent.

CONS: If you're not careful how much you put on, you can have a tiny bit of a stickiness left on the skin. It's very hard to get a bunch out of the bottom when the pump stops working. You better like it thick; this is more like a cream than a lotion.

APPLICATION TIPS: If you don't already, you may want to try leaving skin moist/wet after shower and applying this right away. It really seals in the moisture, and you need a lot less product too. It also makes this easier to smooth on because it's quite thick. (I prefer the chamomile one for sensitive skin.)

ALTERNATES: A bit cheaper choices, and slightly richer moisture, are Tree Hut Body Butter and Cantu Shea Butter Body Butter, with the Cantu being a bit closer to this in moisturizing capability. (I find the Cantu in the African-American hair/lotion section at my Walmart.) For something lighter, try Aveeno Positively Nourishing 24-Hour Moisturizer in "Soothing."

This isn't moisturizing enough for me to use on my body, but it makes a really good hand cream. I bought a $.99 size to stick in my purse. I had no expectations for this at all. I figured it would at least be good in a pinch, but I really like this stuff. It's so thick and rich, and it makes my hands really soft, even through hand washing. It has a light floral scent, not too strong. I don't mind it. I'll definitely buy the bigger size when I use this stuff up, which will probably be soon.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff!!!!!! Girls you don't know how badly dry my skin was on my hands!!!!!! I am 19 and I had tears on my hands because it was so dry especially in the winter time! I tried EVERYTHING but then I found this miracle stuff that does wonders to my hands! I also started using this on my feet in the summer which works great! And sometimes use it on my body in places. But I use I have this with me ALL the time! It's not one of those creams where you put on and then an hour later it's gone and your hands feel dry agian. It is still moisturizing after you wash your hands!

And I LOVE that it has NO scent! Some companys add scent to make the product stand out but the qualitly sucks.
