These are some of the best eyeshadows on the market. Granted the colour selection isn't great, as Bobbi likes her neutrals. But the shimmerwash shadows are beautiful, and look really jewel like. The matte neutrals are fail safe idiot proof colours.
Where BB shadows really excel is the darker colours. They are so pigmented, (much more than MACs). The black and navy colours are the best dark liner colours around and the size is big for the price.
The new packaging with the clear lid is lovely too, especially as you can easily poke the pans out to create custom palettes

This eye shadow is superb quality. It blends very easily and the pigmentation is excellent. I can always rely on these to stay put all day. The colors selection is great. Neutral and day wearable and with the shimmers you can create some drama.Just beautiful.

These are great shadows - albiet high priced at $18! They last FOREVER though. I own bone (as a base every day), white (as a base in evenings), mahagony, sable (liner in the day), gray, slate, Fawm Shimmer and Gunmetal Shimmer (both shimmers for evening). They seriously last forever except for the ones I use as a base. I bought my first one in 1996 and have never wavered from this line for my eye shadow needs. I love them all - all high quality and beautiful colors. UPDATE: I will note I am getting "bored" by the color selection - so many neutrals and never anything trendy. The quality, though, is still top notch.

These are seriously some of the best shadows on the market. I have lots good makeup, NARS, Stila and MAC, but these days I find myself reaching for my Bobbi shadows all the time. In the summer they do not melt, crease or fade even in high humidity. And these are powder shadows. I use Bone shimmerwash as my everyday highlight shade and often (very often) reach for Beige shimmer wash. The colour selection is fabulous, the matte shadows are truly matte and come in beautiful colours, the shimmer wash shadows are creamy and smooth and a pleasure to apply. Just fabulous, fabulous shadows.

I've used a lot of eyeshadows from low to high and these are the best. I've been using them for a little over three months and I'm still happy with the colors, the staying power, and the blendability. These are my HG e/s.

I love Bobbi's eye shadows they are so versatile. I use her darker shadows as eyeliner. I use her ultra thin eyeliner brush.I love it. I use neutral shades like bone on my entire eyelid. They are wonderful and they last forever. Great product.

Good quality eye shadow, period. You just can't really go wrong with it unless you are using bed quality brush, or didn't prime the lids with loose lowder/or foundation.
I was once stray to try some drugstore brands eye shadow b/c of budget reason--I was SO shock how lousy quality it is compare to makeup artist line. A pot of eye shadow can actually last long, and for the sake of avoid hustle blending and blending in the morning, keep BB eyeshadow to be one of your foolproof stock.

unfortunately the bb shadow didn't work for me -- it creased within a short time of application & did not have good staying power. the color selection is very nice, however.

I can honestly say that these are the best eyeshadows you can find. The colour selection is wonderfully varied and can suit any complexion and colouring. The shadows are matte, have great texture, blend flawlessly and don't crease. And because they have no shine they are suitable for older eyes as well. The only downside is that because of their high price they can be hard to fit into a budget. But the pans last a long time so these are truly a good investment. In a world of sparkly shadows that crease easily, these ones really come out on top! :)

Wow. I love the texture and blendability. I only have one from a kind MUAer, but I fear a lemming has been awakened for these! The one I have is 'Grey', and it looks awfully blah in the pot, a matte-ish mid-grey with a bit of pink. I have a separate review up for that. I want more BB eyeshadows!

Actually, I bought this item for using it as eyebrow powder.
The colour is very natural. I can only get the most suitable colour until I went to Bobbi Brown counter. Other brands' eyebrow powder are too red and no natural at all, especially for Asians.
I love it very much!

Bobbi Brown DOES make some great shadows in beautiful colors. I like the texture, the pigment, the application, and the color choices. There are many matte shades, which comes in handy at my age! I would buy more if there was a counter more convenient to me. I also wish the lids were clear so I could see the colors. I've put several of them into a MAC palette for large shadows, but those have been discontinued, so I assume the palette has too.

My lemming just would not calm down so I finally caved and purchased the Black Plum eyeshadow. :) I am glad I did - the color really makes my brown eyes *pop*. I used it as a liner but it seems versatile enough to use allover because the color is very buildable. I fell asleep with this on and it did not smudge at all. I plan to purchase more BB shadows in the future, I am impressed with the quality (I do wish the price could be a few dollars cheaper though! lol)

Bobbi Brown makes truly excellent eyeshadows. The powders are finely milled, last forever and do not crease. The colors are flattering, and apply sheerly, but can be built up for more color. I have bone, a nude that I use as a base, and sable, a medium brown that is great for filling in brows. I can't wait to try more of the great shadows!
