I first got into NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils after seeing many beauty bloggers rave about them. I was intrigued by the variety of colors this line had to offer and the first must have was Milk. I went a little crazy and bought 12 Jumbo Eye Pencils in one trip because they were buy 2 get one free at Ulta. Milk is my most used pencil out of the 12 that I own. It is very versatile and most often use it as a eyebrow highlight as well as putting a bit in my tear ducts, I feel that alone this product does not succeed, You need to put some eye shadow over it with a primer. I would recommend this pencil as the first NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil someone would try. It is the best and most useful. I went back and forth between giving this product 3 and 4 lippies simply because although I do love the product, the packaging is awful. The caps are really cheap and tend to crack if you press a little too hard. I am to the point where the product no longer has a point, its flat. They changed the pencil to be packaged in plastic so sharpening will be a pain. I guess I will just purchase a lip brush or something because sharpening I feel will waste a lot of product. I would love this product more when they would convert the pencil into a mechanical pencil. I am just not a fan of depotting :-( but overall I reccommend this to anyone out there. It was around $2 when I bought them I believe (sale) so there is really not much to lose.

This works as a really great base for eyeshadows. I use it all the time when I want something to stand out, like a bright purple shadow. I actually use it when the colours aren't too bright as well, it just helps it to last that much longer. It goes on kind of sticky but once you put your shadow over it that goes away and probably won't bother you. It's really cheap and lasts a long time too!

I love this fat pencil the formula is excellent I use it over primer on my lid because whether I want to keep the color in the corner of my eye white it looks like the perfect amount not like i'm over doing it. If I want to put a different color in my eye corner then it stays so much better and looks a lot brighter. It keeps the colors very true and bright.

I really like it as a base because my eye colors really pop. I am using the Vice palette which has some crazy sick colors and the NYX just makes them better and last even longer with UDPP. I need the double insurance because my eyes crease so bad. They produce oil like nobodys biz. It's good in the sense that for my age (33) I have no crows feet but bad for my beloved eye makeup.

With this pencil I have found the way to keep my colors brighter so the payoff is great and for my inner eye it actually lasts! When my eye look is done I will put a dab of Milk right in the middle of my eye.I find that it really opens the eye even more and it doesn't look drastic.
This is really multifunctional I wish there was an easer way to sharpen it I have my Grindhouse so I hope that works!! I kinda wish it was like Tarte's lipsurgence because I like that you can dial it up. I hate wasting product so I will save my shavings in a little sample jars. I know it's weird but it's such a good formula so wasting it just isn't for me.

I do think this is one of the best white pencils I have ever used it's so smooth and creamy and blends like a dream. I will buy this before I run out because I don't want to run out since it's that good!
I also want to try the strawberry milk so that's next on my list. If you like bright colors this is a great way to get excellent payoff from not so great colors I find that Provocateur from UD which is very glittery but it's such a pretty color I can work with it when I use this pencil so it really helps make the colors either stay or give you more bang.

I do think this is my favorite white pencil I will still be trying more but this is very hard to top and for the price it's worth it because it does so much.

This is a great eyebrow highlighter. Just dab along the lower eyebrow and blend well. It leaves a nice highlight without looking obvious.

Absolutely love this eye shadow pencil! Milk is a super pigmented white that looks amazing as eyeliner or used in your waterline. I personally use this pencil in substitution of eyeshadow, because my eyes just pop and look huge. Just a side note: Blending is really key when using this product. My first attempt was a failure because I didn't blend properly and I looked very awkward. Definitely recommend and will repurchase :)
UPDATE: So it's been a while since I first reviewed this product. One day I dropped the eye pencil and this created a dent in the product. Since then I have had to constantly sharpen to get even a BIT of product out! This is frustrating because the quality is great, it's just the fact I can't get anything out of it anymore.

I really wanted to like this product. I saw that they were on sale at my local ulta and I bought 3. I used this as an eye shadow and the results were poor. it creased and it was messy it smudged and over all was not a very good item I will not repurchase..

This is my first white shadow base and I'm glad I tried it because it really does make bright colors pop like nothing else. I have about 10 cream shadows that I coordinate with powder shadows to make them more vibrant, but as I run out of those I won't repurchase most of them. White makes the colors brighter and it's way more economical to have 1 brightening shade than tons of coordinating ones. So why the low rating? I found out I like a white base but not THIS white base. My biggest complaint is that this tugs like crazy. There's no way to get an even, smooth application with this applying straight from the pencil. Once I blend it out with my finger it's fine, but the tugging to get it on is wwwaaayyy too much! I want to stay wrinkle-free as long as possible - using a product like this doesn't help. This also creases very badly without a primer underneath (unlike the cream shadow bases I use). I'm talking, if I don't apply a primer first, this begins creasing before I've even finished applying shadow. I wish the formula for this was better because the color is amazing, but I can't repurchase because of the rough application. I think I'll look into the white Milani Shadow Eyez next.

I use this as a base for my eyeshadow to stick to and when I do my colorsapply more vividly and they pop. My only complaint is about the cap that comes on that split within a weak and somehow my pencil keeps smashing flat at the top even with the cap on. I will repurchase for the quality of the product.

After seeing numerous tutorials use this as an eyeshadow base, my town finally got an Ulta store where I could grab some for myself. For me, this totally lives up to the hype! This is a great opaque white, with absolutely no shimmer, glitter, or sparkle. Eyeshadow grabs onto it, looks true to color, and lasts all day without creasing. I was even bad, and slept with my makeup on (awful, I know), and my eyeshadow looked exactly the same in the morning! (Note: I pretty much sleep ON my face and roll around a lot, so that is really impressive.) It removes easily with eye makeup remover. I was worried about sharpening the plastic casing, but it was actually quite easy with my two-holed Wet N Wild sharpener, with minimal wasted product.
Would I use this for it's original intended purpose, as an eye shadow? Probably not. It is too stark white, and might even feel a bit sticky. But as a base for color eyeshadows, it's the bee's knees!

Milk jumbo pencil is a staple product in my makeup collection. It's an opaque creamy TRUE matte white, spreads like a dream & so easy to manipulate. I use this on top of Mac painterly/bare study paint pots. This is a sticky base that helps shadows to appear more vibrant & adhere to the lids. Many eye shadow primers do stop creasing/fading but are so drying they make the shadows look dull & hard to blend. That’s why I use milk. When using it you want to apply it to the LIDS, and then blend evenly all over. Also apply enough for it to work but not too much for it to crease. I get this from my local beauty supply stores around $1.99 – $2.99 always have backups. I finish them after between 8-12 months.

What have I been doing with myself all of the years I've gone without Milk?! I purchased this at Ulta (it's the only place aside from Online that I can find that sells NYX) for 4.39$. It says creaseless, smudgeproof, and waterproof eyeliner/eyeshadow. It definitely lives up to all of those descriptions! It is so smooth and silky, I love using this on my waterline because it totally opens up my eyes and makes my smaller almond eyes look bigger. It lasts for HOURS. Most eyeliners I put on my waterline only last an hour or two before fading away. Not this! I have had it on for hours, like a full day, and it is still going strong. Not only is it a good eyeliner, but it's perfect as a eyeshadow base! I love how creamy this is when I apply it to my lid, it blends out effortlessly and color just seems to stick like glue when I put eyeshadow on it. I used this with my Urban Decay's Half Baked and it made it look SO perfect, it looks exactly like it looks in the pan, pigmented, gold, foil like almost, specks of gold, and it is so much more gorgeous then when I use it without Milk. I will definitely be purchasing much more of these, and try out more colors.

A white matte eye base. No shimmer. It is perfect for your eyeshadows to stick to. Just remember since it is white, that it will make your eyeshadows have a different tint (in this case a bit lighter) to them. They are pretty easy to depot. I just cut the tip off crushed it in the pot I was going to put it in, took the bottom cap off, put the pencil (and pot) in the microwave to melt and soften. Its convient either way though. It is the perfect white base. It can be hard to find in stores though that are not ulta. Easy to blend and help eyeshadows to not crease though I still recommend using a primer underneath since the NYX jumbo pencil is not exactly a primer.

This is pretty good for highlighting the brow bone and inner corner. I only apply it on the lid when I put primer down first, but it really does make color pop. It's creamy and blends like a dream with your fingers. I like it a lot, but not enough to rebuy.

This is perfect for highlighting the brow bone and doing an inner corner highlight. The shade is perfect and it is very easy to blend in.
I have never used this on my lid, but I imagine it would crease as my other jumbo eye pencils do. However, I would definitely recommend and will purchase in the future.

I was a little worried to try this since I hated my other nyx jumbo shadow pencils since they would crease like crazy and would slide right off but I love love love this as a inner corner and under brow bone highlight or to line the waterline. it is a great opaque white without any shimmer and it really makes any shadow you put on top of it pop. I don't use it on my whole lid since that would probably crease as well but it works beautifully as a highlight

DISSAPPOINTMENT... theres a LOT of hype with this product! and for me its not worth it.. I have oily lids ( not crazy oly but oily in the end...) and this thing does NOTHING to prevent my eyeshadows from creasing... its a very strong white and i really dont find it a nice purpose... not even in waterline and less on my inner conner.. BAD BAD BAD
