I am on my 3rd tube and used it when it was in a jar. This product is absolutely the best for moisturizing! It is very sticky and take A LONG time to penatrate so I usually use it at night. My eyes are extremely dry and this is the only thing that works. Sometimes I use it during the day over my concealerand pat it lightly on the outer edges where crows feet are and it softens my skin and makes me look younger. This is not for someone who is looking to depuff eyes really it is a moistureizer. If you want to depuff (which I never have a problem with puffy eyes) Use Macs eye cream in tube.

Ugh. This product was sticky and ineffective. I used it for six weeks, and did not notice a change in the fine lines around my eyes or in the texture of the skin there. Except for a pronounced stickiness that interfered with my makeup application. I recommend Dr. Wexler's 3-in-1 eye cream instead.

From now on- I will always have this product on hand. Yes- it has mineral oil in it, but it does what it says it does. It improves the look of fine lines- significantly.

Is it working to eradicate or change them? No- but when I use it, my eyes do not look dry, and the skin near them looks well moisturized.

I use this LAST in the mornings (use an actual treatment at night) and I do not have to use under eye concealer with this. I hve never found a concealer that doesn't sit in and thus highlight fine lines (I have dry skin)- I will tolerate a tad bit of discoloration if I havent slept well- if it means my skin looks supple and smooth.

Wait a full five minutes or so after using this though before putting on make up, it does take a while to absorb....

I had this for swap, thought it would be great because I really love philosophy products, but i was really disappointed on this one, maybe this stuff doesn't suits me.I put this at night and it made my eyes much puffier the morning i wake up. good thing it was just a swap. it does not absorbed easily in the eye area, but now i only use it in my lips and, made my lips soft. but if i will use this just for my lips i would use petroleum instead

Overall, I like this product. The only problem that I have is that it is very thick and concentrated, and takes a long, long time to absorb. Because of this, I usually don't wear it in the day under makeup because I don't have time to sit around and wait for it to dry, but I put this product on at night after I've washed my and moisturized my face.

Hope in a Tube is very thick and concentrated. I dab a tiny amount under my eyes and around my lips before bed if my skin is feeling particularly dry. This product is costly, but a little goes a LONG way. It is difficult to know how much is left in the tube once it is less than half full, and you have to stand it up to get the product out easily once it is less than half full.
UPDATE: I've been using this more regularly and it has completely smoothed and softened the skin around my eyes like nothing else I've ever tried. I'm sold (and I bought a new one two days ago)!

I like this. I haven't seen dramatic results, but I think it's definitely a good foundation for MMU concealers and it keeps my eye and lip area nicely moisturized.

I had no problems with this, but I'm not sure what the hell it does. I don't think I've seen any results.

This is the first Philosophy product I've been really disappointed in. The cream doesn't spread well and it doesn't go on well like other eye creams do. It dried my eyelids out and made them itchy and puffy. I ended up swapping this item. A huge disappointment!

I like everything about this product (I got it in a Philosophy trial kit), except the fact that it has mineral oil as the third largest ingredient.

Surely, in this day and age, at this price, there are better options than a petroleum based gloop that basically forms a barrier, doesn't let the skin breathe, has a reputation for clogging pores, can actually dry the skin, and has been linked (in some studies) with health risks? Most people who use those mineral oil/vaseline lip salves end up dependent on them, because if they stop using the grease, their lips just flake and peel. A good quality balm, with better, nourishing ingredients won't do that. It will feed the skin and reduce its tendency to chafe.

What about all those gorgeous, absorbable, skin feeding, nourishing ingredients like shea butter, jojoba oil, olive oil, sea buckthorn oil, etc. The list is practically endless.

Yet Philosophy chose to use mineral oil. Amazing.

The unfortunate thing is that the cream works well with my skin (so far), and I regret the fact that I am going to throw it away.

If I kept using it, I know that eventually the skin around my eyes would end up drier than before, and I would develop milia.

If you have puffiness don't use this product! I have moderate puffiness (allergies, genetic) and HIAT made it much worse. It goes on thick and it doesn't absorb quickly. Maybe good for dryness under the eyes. Lets face it most eye creams don't work but this is cream actually made my eyes more wrinkled with milia. Never had milia until I tried this product; its too oily and thick to absorb it literally sat on my skin. Since Philosophy is reformulating some of their products I wish this was the one they had reformulated.

I didn't really feel that this product has done anything for my eyes. I have used it in conjunction with eye believe for a little over a month and havn't seen a change. It moisturizes without leaving an oily residue but that is about it. I will probably use the rest of the tube and move onto something else.

This eye cream/emollient is too thick. You can't apply it like a normal eye cream. You literally need to tap it not your eye area. It doesn't work for my eyes at all. I tend to have puffiness from allergies. This eye cream makes my puffiness ten times worse.I also place it around my lip area and it does soften the lines some. OK lip cream; awful eye cream.

Time and time again I am disappointed by philosophy facial skincare products. I got this in the Makeup Optional Kit and it's the only product I have yet to throw out. (Yet being the key word there.) While this isn't absolutely horrible, it's really not good. It stings my eyes, doesn't go on smoothly, and it doesn't absorb well. I wouldn't bother with this.

It feels nice and is not very greasy. It doesn't leave whitish residue like some other products. However, I don't think it has helped reduce my dark circles, which is the main claim of this product.

I love this stuff. It's so rich, you only use very little, so it lasts forever. After trying a few other brands to compare, I'm back to this - great great stuff!

This product wasn't horrible. It feels delicate on the skin when you apply it and makes the eye area feel smooth. However, I quit using it because it felt like I had a pound of eye goop on.

I get this product as part of a kit (Makeup Optional). Otherwise, I'm not sure I'd buy it. I like it well enough...it doesn't break me out, it hydrates my eye area nicely, it isn't too greasy or irritating, but it isn't anything super special to me. It doesn't reduce my dark circles (I doubt that anything could besides sleep!). One tube lasts for ages.

I hate wearing concealers around my eyes, yet I am beginning to get wrinkles. This stuff is the perfect solution for me: it's just heavy enough to smooth/moisturize without looking the least bit conspicuous. Also, surprisingly, it doesn't become greasy at all, even without touch-ups! Also, a little goes a long way. I use this stuff day and night!

I used Hope in a Tube and developed milia (tiny white cysts) around my eyes. I had never had any before, so it took me time to realize it was the eye cream. I've read that using products that are too rich for your skin is one of the most common causes of milia, especially around the eyes--since the skin is much thinner. It's been at least a couple years since I discontinued Hope in a Tube, and I still have two Milia remaining. The rest cleared up. I am now very reluctant to use any creams around my eyes!
