I might be in the minority here, but this shadow did nothing for me. Not only does the color look ghastly on my olive-toned skin, but the product was so hard to get out of the pot I practically had to smash my finger into it to even get half an eyelid's worth. It's far too green for my tastes (and coloring). To add misery to disappointment, the flecks of green "travelled" down my face and I was a walking weed all day.

I did not read very good reviews about it but was attracted to this colour on the mac counter. It is a very spring/summer colour ,looks good as a wash and with forever green powerpoint as a liner. This is a 'must have' green for this summer.I am a cool toned NW 25 , never thought green eye shadow would look so good on dark brown eyes

OMG and i thought i was the only one with the misfortune of having a non pigmented.. dry, hard "sprout".. i exchanged it 2x already.. in hopes of getting a newer one.. but to no avail.. I love the colour in the pot, but the texture when u try to wear it SUCKS!! obviously would not buy again.. unless it was more pigmented, smoother and easier to blend.

Nice shimmery lime green. Extremely shimmery. Really light and not that much pigmented. Looks nice with tilt or with a dark green, but I don’t find myself wearing green much.

Love this green! One of the three first MAC products I got. This is such a pretty frost green! The only thing is that it isn't very pigmented, but the color is great. Looks fab w/ brown eyes! Love wearing it w/ Humid, Sable, and Goldmine. Will definitely buy again.

I must have lucked out with the one I purchased, because the pigmentation and texture is just fine. I love this shade! I am a green eye shadow junkie, and this is different from all the greens I have. Very grassy/lime with a frost finish. While it has the element of disco funkiness, it is also surprisingly every-day wearable in moderation and with the use of a light hand. I tend to like funky, so today I wetted down my brush and blended it with Jane Clubbing and Fuchsia Fusion Radiation. *gorgeous* This shade would also look great blended with gold and bronze colours, as well as other greens. I will enjoy experimenting with Sprout!

Unlike the vegetable, Sprout is a great thing. Its goldy undershimmer and luminescence along with the rich pigment make this colour outstanding and noticible. However, as it is slightly olive in hue, Sprout works as a neutral colour. It is versatile, and goes very nicely with a lot of black liner. Collects compliments.

While it looks a little scary (golden brightish green), Sprout can be very beautifully worn. It's easily blended with other shades (or pigments). Nice texture and it's a gorgeous color.

This kiwi-green color with gold shimmer is absolutely beautiful. It definitely makes my brown eyes pop. It's fairly hard to layer and blend, but aside from that it's gorgeous as a liner when paired with paradisco! I love it and glad I picked it. =) Will buy again!

Gorgeous bright grass green. The texture/consistency of mine is perfect. Luckily, I don't seem to have the dry/crumbley issues that others have had. This looks lovely as a crease and liner shade and really makes my brown eyes pop. :-)

I LOVE THIS COLOR! I didn't think I would like it when I saw it on the display a few years ago, but then I saw a MAC sales woman wearing it with the same coloring as me and thought WOW, how pretty! It is a very sheer kiwi color that looks great on blue eyes. It is a nice alternative to harsher colors. THe consistency is kind of dry, but I still love it!

WTF??!!! I was so excited to add this to my ever-growing MAC e/s collection...instead it's going into the trash. Why is the texture of this one so bad? All of my other MACs are great. This one is a hard, dry mess. Good bye, Sprout.

A Beautiful tropical kiwi green with gold shimmer. Absolutely gorgeous paired with Steamy! I got the idea to combine the two from Trucco's Manhattan Mermaid eyeshadow duo (the shades are identical) Looks great with the two mixed or with Sprout on the lid, Steamy in crease or vice versa. I use Vex as a brow highlighter and lots of black mascara, creates beautiful exotic eyes!

I never thought much of this color till an MAC MA used it on me in a makeover! WoW! Sprout is a bright shimmery lime green with golden undertones. I use 242 to apply to really pick up the color and it just really pops on my eyes. MA paired it with vex on the outer lid and forever green powerpoint liner and the look is amazing. If you like green its a must have!

I got this from my li'l sister. She buys so much makeup just to buy it (sound like anyone you know?) and realized she will never wear green. I took it thinking someone may want it in a swap, but wound up using it and I love it. The texture isn't the best, not so smooth. But with a good base, I can make a fun green "smoky" eye. My coworkers aren't green eyeshadow types, and may think I'm cwazy, but I love it. So thumbs up on the color, eh on the consistency. But it's spring and time for fun springy colors!

Great, gorgeous color *IN THE PAN* - too bad it's dry, hard and unblendable. I hear it's common with this shade in particular...Sucks for me :| The only way I can get any pigment to show up, is if I use this wet - And even then, the color is barely there. Waste of $$$, there are many fabulous green e/s's out there - This just isn't one of them.

I found that this is one of MAC's most fun e/s colors. I had a lot of fun wearing it. Very vibrant green with shimmer like nothing else I've tried.

A bright medium grass/lime green with shimmer. Not an everyday shade for me, but pretty in the pan :)
