This is my drugstore fav foundation. I have the original formula i'm not sure about the new formula one. The smell is like euclyptus oil kindda attractive to me. Dewy finish definitely need to set with the powder. Very natural on the skin and not setting into the pores and wrinkles. Cheap and decent foundation.

Liquid Clean Makeup makes my face extremely oily throughout the day and it also gives me the "orange" tint to my complexion. It is very thin and doesnt cover blemishes very well. The only thing I like about it is that it feels tingly when you first put it on, so it gives the feeling that it is very light and airy. However, this makeup has also caused me to break out and is impossible to wear without a powder finish. I don't recommend this to anyone!!

Being the first time I had to purchase foundation after being laid off for months already, I was pretty effing broke and needed to go as cheap as I could while crossing my fingers for a winner. The last time I had Cover Girl makeup was in middle school. I had high hopes probably because of the pretty decent packaging makeover. Thought perhaps Cover Girl was comin' on up. But alas, I put this foundation on and BLAH! It looked cakey and patchy as all hell. I have pretty decent skin besides being a little dry sometimes. But maybe it was the way it meshed with my moisturizer that caused this horrible finish? I have no idea. All I know is I would rather go out "naked" than wear this foundation out and look like a melting wax figure monstrosity again... and man, do I hate even leaving the house w/o foundation on. In the case of this product, I got what I paid for. No win here, that's for sure.

When I first started wearing makeup as a teenager, this was my first foundation. It's decent, and for the price, it's actually pretty good quality. These days though, I don't usually buy it unless my budget dictates that I spend less money on makeup. I like foundations that are water based, or if they are oil based, I want one that will moisturize my skin without making me break out. In my opinion, Cover Girl's Aqua Smoothers foundation is better.

Okay, i for one like the scent. It takes me back to when my sister used to use it. I find the classic ivory color works for me and the texture is nice. The only draw back for me is that in the summer, i find that the foundation rolls off of me. I like the rimmel 25hr. foundation better.

I saw bottles of Cover Girl CLEAN MAKEUP liquid foundation in my local Poundland and decided that at £1 for a 30ml bottle I'd give it a go, despite it not getting good reviews. I've since gone back to the store to buy the only other bottle they had left, because I'm loving it so much.
I'm about a n10/15 in MAC foundations and my bottle of CLEAN MAKEUP is 115 [Natural Ivory]. The base leans toward pink more then yellow - Perfect for me (I've checked the site for the reformulated formula's colour chart and 115 looks like it's now 110 Classic Ivory).
Where to start? This seems to melt in to my skin, leaving no tide marks or visible strokes and it feels weightless, despite a build-able medium coverage. The finish is very similar to my NARS Sheer Glow; Silky smooth, with an almost poreless look and a glowing satin finish, that lasts all day.
Best of all, there were no patches of dry skin, itching or feelings of tightness on the dry and sensitive skin on my face, which almost every other foundation I’ve tried has left.
True; CLEAN MAKEUP does have a weird smell (the active ingredients of eucalyptus and clove oil), but once you've blended it in it's barely noticeable.
I haven't suffered from any breakouts whilst I've been using CLEAN MAKEUP.

While many don't seem to like this foundation it's my favorite. I've tried many different brands ranging from drugstore through high end stuff but I keep coming back to this. The smell doesn't bother me(I actually like it). Seems most either love it or hate it. It has a nice dewy finish which works best for my skin. If you're looking for matte finish this is definitely not the product for you. I use this in combination with the CG Smoothers cover up stick. This along w/ black mascara, nars orgasm blush and a clear gloss is my daily 5 minute routine and out the door I go.
Great price, lasts a while and does not break me out(very sensitive skin). The only negative is the packaging. Pump would be nice.
Ivory 105 is a good match for my pale skin tone.

I used to buy this foundation and I used it for years and I liked the coverage but hated how it clogs my pores and made me break out constantly. They are true to shade though and the newer versions may be better and I loved the smell.

I am in a love - hate relationship with this liquid foundation. Talking about coverage, it is the best. But when it comes to different stuff, I’m thinking of not buying it again. :/
Pros:
* Even coverage
* Not expensive. ($7)
* Looks natural
* Lasts long
* Covers minor redness and uneven skin tone.
* I look like a porcelain doll (when topped with the pressed foundation)
* Glides easily.
* Dries fast.
Conssss:
* Very very very funky smell. It smells like an ointment.
* Awful packaging.
* Doesn’t come in a pump for more control.
* Can be really messy.
* Breaks out on my face :(
REPURCHASE? HELL NO.

I know a lot of people don't like this foundation but it is the only one that looks good on my skin and I have tried many others throughout the years but keep coming back to this one.
The coverage is light to medium but buildable. It blends well and never looks cakey or chaulky. It does not oxidize.
I sometimes do have to use a concealor for blemishes and the undereye area.
The only reason I have ever tried anything else is because of the color. I use the lightest shade but it tends to be on the pink side and I have some redness that it does not counterbalance. For this, I use a little of the Clean Makeup formula for sensitive skin in 205 Ivory because it's lighter.
My T zone does get oily but I have learned that the new HD powders set the area nicely and keeps the oil at bay for a very long time.

This is a decent everyday foundation for me. I was confused at first about the undertones and I got two bottles of the wrong shade. I have pink undertones and the ones I got were both yellow. Good thing I tinkered around with it a bit using other foundations and got a decent match to my skin tone. It gives light to moderate coverage, depending on how much you layer it. Does not feel heavy but does not cover much either. I do not like the fact that it does turn orange on me after 30 minutes.

it's not really bad, it's just soso. The consistency of the liquid is just right but it does take a while for this product to dry as compared to my other liquid foundations. It evens out my skin tone but has a very light coverage. The only thing I like about it is that, I don't feel like I have foundation on my face and it has a very mild scent too.

Ladies, ladies, ladies, Noxema is the smell...and I, for one, love it! It is a trip down memory lane everytime I open the bottle.
At the ripe age of 51, I was hesitant to try this. I was under the impression that it was designed for the younger woman, even teens. I bought it for the scent alone, isn't that funny?
I see a lot of complaints for the dewy finish. Well, I could not be happier with that. I appreciate the dewy, glowy look, and seek it when doing my makeup. I mix a very small amount of the foundation with Smashbox's artificial light/primer, and then I blend, blend, blend, blot, then blend again. I love this. My skin loves this. And it stays put all day. Coverage is light, because I make it so. Like a tinted moisturizer. I do not like full-coverage, never have, too fake-looking on me.

I don't know if it's just my skin, but this looked like the perfect color in the bottle, but when I applied it to my skin it turned orange almost immediately. It also melted off my face very quickly, even when I used a primer.

I never wore foundation before, only concealer but i wanted to give this a try since it was on sale at walmart for 6 bucks. When i got home i put it on and right away i noticed the awful smell. I did get used to the smell,but it was a slow process. And the bottle doesn't have a pump which made it hard to apply. This foundation has pretty light coverage for minor flaws to cover up. It didn't blend well at ALL! After a few hours it began to melt off and make my face look really oily and splotchy which was not cute at all! So I will never buy this again nor will I recommend it to anyone. I think that next i will try revlon colorstay.

I have this foundation in the new formula for sensitive skin. While the lightest shade they carry, 205 Ivory, fits me pretty well, it's still not light enough. I like a full coverage, and this is very sheer, so it's almost as if I have to reapply it a few times to get the coverage I want. The only reason I choose this foundation over another one in the drugstore is that it's cheap and fits my skin tone pretty well. Others are really orange-y and not light enough for me.
Also, the thing I hate is that the bottle is just a screw-top. I wish more foundations came with a pump. It makes getting how much foundation I need easier.
Throughout the day this foundation doesn't feel very cakey unless I'm out in direct sunlight for hours on end. I went to Disneyland in the hot sun wearing this everyday and it felt fine. Maybe a little blotting could have been done here or there, but over all this foundation is great for the price and the variation of colors it comes in.

Not really sure where you can get this specific foundation anymore (since Cover Girl came out with a new line for the Clean foundations) but I don't think you'd want to. This was one of the worst foundations I have ever used. Right away, I noticed the scent. It's SUPER strong. Usually when it comes to scents on makeup, I'm okay with it. But with this, it was wayyy too strong. To the point where I got scared of wearing it to public because I'm afraid people might smell it. This foundation also made me super oily. I felt like a grease ball 2 hours after the appliance. Doesn't blend very well either. Also, packaging is horrible. Doesn't come with a pump, which caused a mess sometimes. Hopefully they improved this foundation with the new formula because I REALLY dislike this one.

this is definatly a product i regret purchasing. i was in need of foundation quickly , and so i just grabbed whatever , but i really wished i had spent the money and got something worth buying. its still sitting in my drawer, after me using it once. the smell i find is actually unberable, and having it all over your face is overwhelming. in the bottle it looks liquidy, but like a good consistancy, but once you put it on, the pigmentation of the foundation doesn't seem the spread evenly, leaving streaky lines all over your face. so i suggest you go out and spend a few extra dollars, you wont regret it !

It was horrible!
As soon as i opened it i noticed it had a horrible smell and i tried so much but i couldnt get rid of the smell!
I stipled it, brushed, and used my fingers but nothing worked! My face looked so cakey and you could see deep lines from the brush/fingers and holes from the brush/sponge.

I was Able to Find the Perfect Color for me. But the "Clean" smell was wayy too much. Much Too watery for me.
