As others have said, these are nice neutral colors for pale people. The matte formula didn't look chalky on me like many others do. I was able to see the colors on me, yet they didn't overpower my fair skin. That's a huge plus, and hard to get right for a d/s product. However, there was major creasing going on. The lasting power was poor, maybe 3 hours. So, overall, perfect colors for a neutral day look, but the colorstay line (other than the foundation) does not live up to it's name!

I really love this quad, the colours blend well and stay put. I am fair skinned with green eyes and i found the colours gave a nice natural look. Would definately buy again.

I'm just writing in to warn people that I had a really bad reaction to this quad. And I have never before had a reacton to any eyeshadow, drug or department store (I have had problems with some mascaras and some eye creams, but not shadow). I don't know if it's this quad specifically or Revlon shadows in general. But if you have had any sensitivity issues with eye creams or eye makeup at all, you might want to be careful about this one.
That being said, I am a blue-eyed PPP and the colors were perfect for me and lasted pretty decently for drugstore stuff (not the much-touted 12 hours, but 5-ish, which is about the length of most of my shifts at work, so totally ok for me). I am still giving it three lippies because I don't want to bring the ratings down too much as the reaction I had doesn't seem to be common. It would be a decent choice if you're looking for an inexpensive set of everyday neutrals, especially if you are fair (not so much if you are medium or darker-skinned since as other reviewers have commented, the lighter colors are pretty light). It was great for a natural look and I really liked it until I got a rash :(.

I like this eyeshadow quad. The colors are all very light and natural. They blend well and come with two nice applicators. The first appplicator is a normal sponge tip eyeshadow applicator but the second is a very nice sponge tip eyeliner applicator that works really well. My only complaint is that these eyeshadows take a few coats to show up really well. I would repurchase.

Today was the first time I've used this quad and it is also the first time I've tried an d/s eyeshadow. I am quite surprised at the quality of the eye shadow. It's silky, applies easily, and blends well. The pigmentation is really good too for a d/s eyeshadow. I use UDPP underneath so I cannot say how long it would last without a base and a base really helps to make the color pop. The packaging however is crap which is why I knocked one lippie off. Overall great product for the price (bought it at CVS for $3.50) and quality.

I really like these, these are my everyday eyeshadows. These are perfect if you don't want it to be really obvious that you're wearing eyeshadow. They go on really smoothly and the packaging is great, it comes with a regular eyeshadow applicator and then a thinner one.

The colors in this were so light they didn't even show up. I know the color is called "in the buff", but what's the point in wasting time on it if you can't even see it? Will not repurchase.

This eyeshadow quad isn't great but I do like it for casual everyday looks. The four colours, a pale fleshy peachy, a light fleshtone pink, light/medium tan and darker chocolate only show up lightly on me-and I'm an LLL! I really wish they had more pigment but the texture and blendability are fine. And they are very soft and pretty. They help me look 'polished' but not made overly madeup. I would probably buy again.

I bought this after seeing that it on the "2005 InStyle 156 Best Beauty Buys" list. Where to begin...the colors consists of a yellow butter color with a slight shimmer, a pale pink with slight shimmer, light taupe with slight shimmer and medium brown with a satin finish. All the colors were very sheer and in order to get enough pigment on my lids, I had to apply multiple layers. The shadow did not last more than an hour, let alone 12 hours. While I agree that they are talc-y or frosty, as suggested by Nick Barose, in the review, I don't think it is worth buying, regardless if the colors are up to date. What is the point, if you can't even see them?

three of the colors are good; the matte yellow isn't so great, a bit chalky looking.
both of the pearly colors are very nice however, but don't blend them too much or they become a muddle.
if you use colorstay natural foundation on your eyelids, the shadows adhere surprisingly well. but use a light hand or they may crease a tad.

The color pigments are very light, even the darkest shade is light, but it looks great when you want a natural look that is clean and polished.

I thought this quad would work for me, a NC15, light brown hair, hazel eyes. But for some reason, it doesn't, and it really shocks me because this is a neutral quad. I think it is because the colors in here have pinkish undertones. I didn't expect the undertones to come through so much, especially since Revlons orignal "In the Buff" quad works great on me. Perhaps a difference in formulation? The colors are: light shimmery yellow-beige, ultra light flesh-tone pink (almost not pink), light tan-beige, and light taupe. These just look bland and chalky on my eyes, and blend to an odd gray-pink color. The quality is good, as per feel and smoothness, but on me, the look is chalky. I am enjoying two of the quads from this line, however, and hope that the color offerings expand even further.
