I have this gloss in Pink Lemonade. That’s an apt description – the color is very similar to MAC’s Pink Lemonade liglass. I would describe it as a shimmery pinky coral. It is a bright shade and actually quite pigmented and slightly opaque. It comes in a good sized tube with a sponge applicator. This color would look best on someone with pale skin and blonde hair and is a great spring/summer color. The minty scent is not the best – it smells sort of like toothpaste. But the coverage is nice, with decent staying power. I will probably try other colors since this one does not work for me.

I like the strong mint tingle but once applied, they look as cheap as they are! I have Chai (frosty pale beige) and Pink Lemonade (bright frosty coral) and they are pigmented, which is a plus, but in an unflattering way, which is a big minus. I've worn each one approximately twice since I bought them last summer. You get what you pay for with ELF!

Love, love, love E.L.F! Hello! $1 per product?!?! I ordered just about every item they sold at the time (they have even more now) and I haven't even gotten around to using them all yet, but the ones I have used, including the soothing lip gloss, I have loved! For the money I expected tiny packages and poor quality but I was pleasantly suprised. The soothing lip gloss was one of the smaller packages, but one of my favorites for its flattering color (my fav is mauive luxe), creamy texture, and yummy scent. I also loved the eyeliners (full size AND every single pencil comes with a sharpener!), the nuetral eye shadow palette, the shimmering facial whip, and the hypershine gloss. The shielding gloss come in a larger package, but the consistency wasn't as nice as the soothing gloss. Go to the website (www.eyeslipsface.com) and check out their stuff, even if you don't like it when you get it home, you've only spent a dollar! The one problem I ran into was the plastic tube one of my lip glosses was in cracked and now leaks a bit, which sucks, but come on... it was only a buck!

So I read about this new e.l.f. line in a chickmag a couple of months back and immediately checked out their website. Huge array of products...and *everything's a dollar.* Everything. (This should knock Wet'n'Wild on it's collective ass.) So, bought a selection of the lipglosses for myself and friends (okay, I bought twenty) and surprise, surprise -- they're quite good. Nice creamy non-sticky texture, PLENTY of pigment, and a mild minty scent. I've got Bark (badly named - it's a transparent Merlot color), Cabernet (lovely transparent cherry red - more color than the Smashbox gel in Lit) and Mauve Luxe (medium-light nude rose with a golden shimmer - ooh-la-la!) How nice to have a line that's A) decent quality B) has lots of colors and C) is so dirt cheap you can buy every one, shove 'em in your pockets, and not freak out if you get drunk and leave it on the bar. Hooray!
