This toner is very soothing and never stings. I had a bit of an allergic skin reaction to something in the atmosphere and had put this on after cleansing and it did not sting! That really says something about how gentle the ingredients are, I think! I really like it.

Except for one thing: I had put a bit of this toner into a separate, clear spray bottle because the cap is a little big and lets out too much liquid at a time, but the strangest thing is that it turned the plastic of my clear bottle WHITE!! It feels like a really gentle toner though on my skin, so I have no idea what kind of chemical reaction happened there...

This toner is great for my skin! My black heads on my nose are less black, the scars I had from some pimples are less noticeable, and I have fewer breakouts all together. I am almost out of this so I will need to get more, but at the moment I am using the eye make up remover from Garnier in the fresh collection, and that works very well to make my skin feel happy. (It has blueberry extract as an anti-oxidant and other neat ingredients.)

The toner takes the oil off my skin, and makes my skin feel absolutely delicious. Everyone's experience will be different, but I think this is my favourite toner out of the billions I've tried. I was sold on the packaging, but the formula is making me go back to it again. I JUST used it, and my skin feels like it's on cloud nine. Best thing for me!

Broke me out although it left my skin feeling matte and removed the last traces of my make up.

I picked it up at a local SDM since it's really cheap. It's not irritating and smells really good. But I find it hard to spread over my face whether I use Shiseido cotton or drugstore ones. It feels slightly dry after use rather than hydrating. Certainly not on par with any of the other toners I've used (Shiseido, Clarins, Lancome, Boscia, Kiehl's, etc). Will not repurchase.

Overall this is a very gentle toner yet purifying and fresh. It does not dry out my skin or make me break out and leaves a clean feeling. It also smells really good! Nice to use along with the garnier fresh moisturizer.

Not bad, I wouldn't buy it again though because it doesn't do anything for my skin :(

Pros:

~ Smells nice, like green apples
~ Compliments the Fresh cream
~ Doesn't burn
~ Feels like cool, refreshing water
~ Cheap (got it on sale for $4)

Cons:

~ Doesn't visibly do anything
~ Dries out skin ever so slightly (but I have really dry skin)

Oh my, LOVE this toner! I personally think we dont NEED toner but being a product junkie I bought this because of the rave reviews. All I want a toner to do is not irritate my skin. I don't go near any product that has alcohol and toners can have up to 40%!!!!! That's so bad for the skin no matter how oily or acne prone. I actually have combo/oily, acne prone sensitive skin and this is the BEST toner ever and so cheap. I buy at Wal-Mart for $7 CAD. I didnt know they didnt have this in US, no wonder why I couldnt find Paula's review on beautypedia. This has none of those menthol crap, alcohol or other irritating ingredients for the skin. I didnt need a toner cuz I just bought my beloved Clinique MILD Clarifying lotion (it's a toner without a number, clinique numbers the rest, 1, 2, 3 and 4). But when I smelled this I HAD to have it!!! Good job Garnier. I love the cleanser from this line too very similar to Clinique's Mild Liquid Soap. LOVE them all!!!!!!!!!!! I WILL buy again and again.

Is overall a pretty good toner. Smells nice, goes on well, but it didn't give me any significant results. I'm using a neostrata toner now, which is really helping my skin clear up.

This toner did nothing for me. Granted, it smells decent, but I felt as though I was applying water to my face. I didn't get the fresh feeling after using it and it didn't help with minimizing my pores. The packaging could use some revising as it is difficult to control the amount coming out when tilting the product over a cotton pad. I now faithfully use the Christian Dior mattifying toner as I see a difference in my skin after just one month of use.

I have kinda-sensitive, rosacea, flaky combination skin with very dry cheeks.

I tried this toner out because of all the good reviews on MUA -
and I'm so thankful !

I used to always think Garnier products are crap, but this toner is amazing , im on my third bottle now !

It's inexpensive, gentle, smells SO GOOD so fresh, and most of all doesn't dry my skin at all - without being greasy or film-y !

It just absorbs into my skin without leaving any residue behind, and I can skip moisturizer and still have no flakes, (my skin is very flaky)

Another toner that I have tried that gave minimal results. I probably wasted alot of the product because of its packaging since I usually end up spilling it everywhere. It is refreshing and it does smell nice but I saw no improvements in my skin. Will not buy again.

I bought this because of all the great reviews. it was about $8 at Walmart in Canada. It didn't dry out my face which toners usually do, but this gave me bumps. Luckily, I tried it on part of my face and not my whole face!

With all the great reviews left for this product, I was so excited when I bought it. However, it made my skin terrible. I broke out like crazy in only a couple of days, and my skin was never this bad. I've never had red spots or this many bumps on my face. I also got some white spots that look like eczema. I'm very disappointed with this product. :(

Edit: Oh and I forgot to mention, it gave me rashes.

Broke me out the two times I used it - I left a space between each time to make sure it wasn't something else that was causing the break out.
So both times I used it, I got little white underground clogs, ugh. Maybe something in it's clogging my pores?? I could notice them as quick as the next day or 2.
It could be worse *cough* Clean n clear *cough* It didn't dry out my skin or anything, and feels quite nice and smells AMAZING. Gosh, I was hoping I'd love the stuff because it's smell incredibly nice!
Well, hopefully, I'd be able to return this product.

I was searching for a gentle toner for my combination skin (oily t-zone, dry cheeks) and this is exactly what I was looking for! I am so thankful to have found this as most toners that I've used were just too harsh. I love using this prior to my moisturizer as it helps it sink in better. My face really does feel fresh after using this. I will be sticking to this for a very long time and hope it never gets discontinued.

This was way too gentle. A toner is supposed to remove the excess makeup or cleanser residue that's on your skin after having washed your face. This seemed to just wet my skin, and kind of prime it for moisturizer. I would get smears of mascara around my eye area, and I would have to scrub at my skin with the cotton pad to remove any of it. This is basically glorified water.

Love it. I tried Shiseido's toner and Estee Lauder's, both literally had a after burn for my skin.

Been using it for 2 weeks now. It's doing it's job and not leaving a terrible burning feel for me. It removed the last bit of my MAC studio sculpt lolz!! I'm in love :) Totally worth my money at this price.

I love this toner, its brill! Bought it several times and i always come back to it. It make my skin feel so fresh, the fragrance is gorgeous and its soooo gentle. I use it alongside the e m up remover, moisturiser and cleanser from the clean and fresh range- all of which i recommend-they are as good as this toner!

I love the smell of this toner, makes me feel great every morning! It doesn irritate my skin at all, only makes my skin calm and relaxed... removes excess make up really well... already on my 2nd bottle. MUA did it again, I bought this due to the good reviews.
