my favorite green e/s. i'm normally not a big fan of stila b/ i find most of their e/s too frosty, too boring, or just too ordinary for the money. however, la douce is one of the few exceptions. it's an absolutely gorgeous dark khaki olive-green with a gold sheen (not over the top shimmer like some of their other colors). it goes on beautifully pigmented and silky, and wears very well (8+ hours on my oily lids!). in my opinion, one of the few must-haves from stila.

I have owned this color for years...but I haven't worn it in years. I bought Irma La Douce years ago to wear as a liner and sadly lost interst in it...then I received Oasis in the Stila Shimmer palette and noticed that several viewers loved the combo of Oasis as a wash and La Douce as a crease color. So I dug out my La Douce and applied it to the crease...my first reaction-EW! Gotta wash it off...but then I left it on for awhile and discovered that this antiquey olive green and gold eye shadow is so unique! The combo (with Twig as a liner) makes my eyes appear to be HUGE...I'll be digging this color out more...

Great liner colour! Shimmery olive green with a touch of brown perhaps. Works really well for a smoky nighttime look. Bit too pigmented to wear as anything but a liner. This and Jade are my favourite Stila shadows.

HUGE rave from me for this wonderful hue. Not only is the quality as superb and long-lasting as other Stila shadows, but the color--the color is absolutely gorgeous. This is the exact olive-brown burnished gold that I have been searching for!
One of the most complex and beautiful colors I have seen, La Douce provides a sultry yet neutral eye-popping color for my dark brown eyes. I like to use a subtle brown cream shadow base and layer it with a goldish powder shadow before applying this color on the lid and crease. This combination looks beautifuly with peachy-nude lips and cheeks. La Douce is definitely going to become a staple for me to wear in the cooler seasons!

this is my fave stila e/s, and i have many! it's a very special olive/gold color and really complements my hazel eyes. i use it wet as a liner and blend it into lempicka e/s (a lemony-gold shimmer that stila discontinued!)on the rest of my lid. it looks really good lined under the eye, too.

I have dark brown eyes and I used to wear taupes and browns... No more. I found that LaDouce with Oasis as a wash makes my eyes POP! I can just add more for an evening look and leave it a little lighter during the day. I LOVE IT!

I absolutely love this color. It is an olive-khaki green with
gold-brown undertones. I love the way it makes my blue eyes come alive. I use it in the crease with Launey as a wash. I am just thrilled that I can wear green. =) I really love this e/s.

A beautiful warm olive green with a golden sheen. It applies a couple shades lighter than it looks in the pan. Very pretty on dark brown eyed gals. I wear it in the crease with Oasis as a wash. The staying power is above average. It does fade a little but I have no real need to touch up during the day.

Ohhh...this is such a beautiful colour. I am absolutely in love with this. Definitely no regrets about buying this. Its an antiqued sort of colour, deep mossy green with gold flecks. I usually can't pull off darker colours, but this really makes my dark brown eyes stand out and complements my C30 skin. Its also subtle enough for daytime wear. Go buy this one!!!!

One of the most unique Stila eyeshadow shades, and definately in my top five. =)
La Douce is a must-have for brown eyes. I have dark brown peepers, and this is the perfect sultry-yet-natural shadow to complement them. It's a shimmery deep olive green with gold glimmer, so beautiful.

La Douce is a lovely green-olive with a slight hint of brown. I like using this in the crease or to line as others have said. I used it wet and it brought out a bit more of the golden olive tone in the shade.

This is a beautiful medium/dark golden olive-green that is fantastic and unique when used in the crease. I use it there as well as to line on my PPP complexion. Such an original! I really like this!

This is a golden olive shade with tiny hints or brown in it. This shade looks really pretty in the crease for a sexy smokey look. I've paired it with Starlight and Wheat. It works with pretty much anything.

A mediump-to-dark brownish green with a low amount of gold shimmer. ILD is so close to brown that it looks brown until you actually put it next to a brown shadow. Very warm and mossy with no blue undertones at all. This was renamed "La Douce"

The color is a shimmery golden olive green. It looks beautiful in the pan, but goes on too sheer for my liking. Nonetheless, it's still a lovely e/s! I love to pair this on the crease with UD Chains (which is the almost exact same color but much more pigmented) to line.

This is one of my favorite Stila eye shadows. It is a beautiful olive green shimmer with hints of gold. I wear it as a liner - and next to the lash line with Grace. It really makes my green eyes pop.

Yep, here's another I like! A pretty dark green with shimmer, but kind of "bronzey" or "gold-ish", not "green-green". Goes great with Holly Go Lightly and Wheat.

Irma La Douce is an olive colored shimmer. I mainly use this as a liner. My favorite way to wear it is with Kahlo on the lid and HGL in the crease. This paired with Rouge blush and Jo l/s makes for a really pretty face! Irma is fantastic for green eyed gals.
