This is a lovely shampoo. The only problem it costs a lot. It leaves the hair very moisturized and feeling soft, hence the name. I would buy this then alternate with another shampoo. Or just use this once in a while. I'm looking forward to seeing another set with this and the matching conditioner in it.

I bought this recently for the first time after reading all the great reviews but I must have got the new reformulated one because as another recent reviewer noted (wish I would have seen this before I purchased)...this stuff did nothing but make my hair feel like straw!! I've had better results with $3 shampoo!! Bummed I wasted money on this crap. I would not recommend or repurchase...it may go down the drain.

I have never used the original formula so I can not compare to that.....but I HATE this new type. It makes my hair frizzy, fly away and dry. I can not get my hair smooth and the ends look fried. I gave this shampoo a fair shot, I thought at first it may have been my imagination but after using it for 2 weeks my hair is a disaster :( This shampoo in combination with the coordinating conditioner is a nightmare!!!!! I will be giving away both these huge liter bottles to someone but with a warning!

**ATTENTION** The OLD All Soft products were incredible and did wonders for my hair. It was honestly the most wonderful shampoo I had ever purchased and used it for years. HOWEVER, now there is a new formula with IPN on it. DO NOT BUY THIS. It absolutely devastated my hair and was even thinking I needed to go buy a multi-vitamin or that something was going on with my health for my hair to suddenly become so dry and coarse. I'm only 24 and I went from having fine beautiful wavy hair to limp, dry, coarse damaged hair that barley even wants to wave anymore. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT, IT HAS BEEN REFORMULATED.

Really nice shampoo, cleanses gently and will help get rid of buildup and leave your hair feeling quite soft and clean. Paired with a good conditioner, it's gorgeous.

I have been using this product for about four years. My hair has been long, short, blonde, brown, red and pretty much everything inbetween in that time. But one thing it has never been is unhealthy. This for me is the HG of shampoo and conditioner. I order the 1lt bottles and about once every few cycles I swap the shampoo to the 'Extreme' redken range just to give my hair a little bit of a protein boost while continuing the with the All Soft conditioner and Heavy Cream treatment. My hair is always full of body and shine and is so easy to style. I straighten it regularly and very very rarely get split ends. Usually I can go around six months without needing a trim which is fantastic!

This shampoo has moisturised my dry hair fantastically, it works as well as many Kerastase shampoos i have tried and the benefits increase the longer you use it. I will re-buy.

This shampoo really does what it says. It makes my hair feel nice and soft and the softness lasts till the next wash. I also find I have less tangles and it is easier to blowdry my hair straight when using this shampoo. I have only come across one shampoo so far which doesn't cause me hair loss, unfortunately Redken does (although not as much as other shampoos) which is why I have given it 4 lippies.

WOW!! WOW!! WOW!! I only used this once and I feel the difference. Make sure you only use a small amount because it really tends to foam/lather up pretty big and it feels so good! One time use and this really did work..i can think of few product that do this. After 24 hours and that softness still there i can't wait till 6 months from now!! BTW- I loves this so much on my first try I had to bring a small sample to my sister in law!! You have to buy this because I will!!

Waw...This shampoo is AMAZINGLY AWESOME...

I got this from Aussie, cause I'm living in Indonesia. Well, I fell in love from the 1st time I wore it...It's just so cool!

My hair is kinda dry at the end(due to chemical processing and dandruff shampoo), but after the 1st time, it changed my hair!
Now, my hair is shiny and easier to manage...Just after the 1st time using it..

I'm so speechless about this one thing...^^

LOVE this shampoo...I have thick, course brown hair and I color it A LOT (to cover the grays). I loved this shampoo from the very first time I tried it. It made my hair sooooo soft, but not to the point that I couldn't style it..it's still very bouncy and just fun. I am soooo impressed with this shampoo..will definitely be buying again.

My hair : shoulder length, highlighted, fine textured but reasonable amounts of it, dry ends, oily roots, washed daily. Reasonable condition with light damage from highlights and breakage from tying up when wet (I know!). No heat damage as I only heat style max once a month.

I tried this shampoo & conditioner after a disaster with Aussie Miracle Moist & the very disappointing Kerastase Bain Cristallise range, which had been recommended by my stylist.


All Soft & Cristallise are similar in their ideals, softening, moisturising & light protein repair, but their results light years apart. My hair is soft, bouncy, manageable and clean with soft ends, with All Soft (they were still dry & oddly crunchy with Kerastase). Plus, as a bonus, All Soft is much cheaper at less than £10 for 300ml of shampoo ($16 USD approx) & less than £11 for 250ml of conditioner ($17 USD approx), compared to nearly £14 for a smaller 250ml shampoo & nearly £17 for a smaller 200ml conditioner in the Kerastase.


No contest. Redken all the way.

This is my new favorite shampoo, and it's definitely true to it's name! This makes my hair very soft, both while I am in the shower and after I dry my hair. For the price, about $14 for 10oz, it's a great deal. It leaves my hair feeling silky and shiny, and that is great for my color treated blonde hair!

i bought only based on all the reviews here, and since they don't sell it here i bought it online.
i think it's just a regauler boring shampoo, it didn't made my hair feeling soft, or anything else as a matter of fact,,,the smell in my taste wasn't that good either.
and it's costs alot for the smallest amount.
just not worth it.

*note* I do not own the matching conditioner to this product. Instead, i have been pairing it with TiGi's Sleek Mystique conditioner and find that the duo work amazingly to have silky smooth hair. I strongly suggest you try it out for yourself:)

This shampoo is AMAZING! My dry, frizzy and damaged hair is instantly smoothed and softened by Redken All Soft. INSTANTLY. I saw the difference the moment I stepped out of the shower, which NEVER happens. With my hair, it normally takes about a week for any changes to happen, whether for the good or the bad (normally the bad) but this…DAMN MY HAIR IS SO SOFT. I couldn't stop caressing my own freaking hair that day. CARESSING!!!

As mentioned in the note, TiGi's Sleek Mystque is an amazing partner to this wonderful shampoo. Try it out: sleek mystique MAJORLY assists when its time to take out the iron and All Soft assists in anyway imaginable…

Sometimes my hair get really dull unshiny and unrules; in such a case, this shampoo can do miracles. I can use it only for a while, then stop, because my hair are getting oily easily, but this shampoo really works; hair are nice to touch, easy to detangle, shiny and not looking dull.

I've been using this product together with the conditioner for about 5 months now. My hair is fine and tangles very easily, this was the first time I bought a expensive "salon"-shampoo and I was sceptical first but after reading so many good reviews on it I decided to give it a try. Im very happy with it since my hair is really smooth and non-frizz after using it. Although it tends to get greasy after 2 days (maybe its normal?) I concider to try another series of redken. The smell is good but abit weak for my taste, doesnt last very long, the day after washing my hair smells absolutely nothing hehe. Although very good value for the money since it lasts long and you only need a small amount

I have very fine hair that tangles a lot, so it is very hard to find great shampoo, specially that does not break me out on hairline (most of shampoos contains SLS - Sodium Lauryl/Laureth Sulfates, Soy Protein and Hydrolized Wheat Protein). I know this one contains SLS too, but I decided to try it.
I saw they have two kinds of All Soft shampoo/conditioner at the store: 1) with Avocado Oil 2) with Argan oil - I chose Argan Oil as I red many good reviews about it and the bottle looked nicer.
I love the smell of this shampoo - its like peaches and cream, or apples and cream, can not tell, but pretty yummy smell. It does not tangle my hair while washing so thats amazing. I am not sure if my hair felt much softer but at least they were not worst. Hard to tell as I also purchased new conditioner, so Im not sure who gets the bonus.
I only hope this shampoo wont break me out (Soy/Wheat protein).
UPDATE: As much as I loved this shampoo, I think it broke me out around neck and hairline a little. I think it's from Hydrolized Soy Protein or Hydrolized Wheat Protein. (I had some cleansers and shampoos with this ingredient before and it always broke me out). And this is the reason I am returning this shampoo.

I've used a LOT of shampoos Aveda, nexxus, etc.. and decided to try this one because of the great reviews. And it IS amazing!!! I started small with the reg size bottle but since then I've have gone through two liter size ones of the shampoo & conditioner. It leaves my hair so manageable and I don't even need to comb it EVER. I will definitely keep repurchasing.

This paired with the conditioner has really helped my dry hair out. I have been using it for about 2 months, and I have no complaints. It smells really good. Leaves hair feeling hydrated and soft, yet still clean and non-greasy. I really like it.
