This is the "glow" that you see on model's cheekbones.
I find that I can often wear this on my skin and I look put together.
The other reviews about it making u look greasy is true. I gotta look at a mirror in the light before I go out because it can be a lot more dramatic than you thought while brushing it on. Gotta brush it in well.
Other than that its a wonderful product

This gives me a pretty soft radiant glow but is very subtle. I apply it with my skunk brush (as is mentioned by another reviewer) and find this method gives the best looking finish on my skin. Never to heavy just soft and pretty. The colour is a pink gold and the consitency in the pan is very unusual which the SA explained is because it is baked. Very nice product.

For a very long time, this was my favorite MSF. I used it ALL the time. It's lovely if you can pull it off and if you buff it in enough so you don't look totally metallic. It's gorgeous though, I bought one backup. I'm pale enough so it's my bronzer, and it gives off a light, healthy glow. MAC's released this several times now, so I recommend picking one up!

This is my HG product that gives me the "glow" that I desire. It is very subtle, and when put on with a skunk brush, it gives my face a shiny, pretty glow without looking oily or greasy. Color is a golden tan, and it looks best applied over blush or bronzer.

When I first opened this I wasn't impressed. It sat unused for months but I finally put this on my face using my NARS bronzer brush and was pleasantly surprised. By the end of the day I had that glow that everyone was talking about. I now use this everyday on top of my bronzer or blush and it really does make me glow. I find less is more with this product, which suits me fine since it's so hard to get now.

This is my favorite highlighter ever!! Neutral shimmery champagne color it reminds me so much of Stila Kitten e/s, also a fave. I can also use this on the lids and anywhere else I want to use it.

As others here have already noted, apply Skinfinishes with a dual-fiber brush like MAC's own #187 in order to achieve the best results. Instead of sparkle city, you'll get a beautiful radiance. The color is great--sort of a pale champagne-beige (very neutral--a perfect blend of gold and silver) but just dark enough to give a sunny warmth to paler skin.
The shimmer turns into a lovely sheen if you apply with the brush I mentioned before, then spritz your face with a fine mist of water (this is key for getting any powder product to melt into your skin. You'll get an extremely polished, natural-looking finish). Perfect summery look when used in conjunction with a subtle bronzer to contour with (Everyday Minerals Soft Bronzer) and a fresh, peachy-pink blush (like Jane Blushing Cheeks in Blushing Earth Sheer) or a warm-toned, beigey blush (Bobbi Brown Pot Rouge in Summer Tan) for a more sophisticated, monotonal look.
The texture is nicely creamy rather than dusty, even though this is a pressed powder, and the marbled surface is really pretty :) Too bad this is a LE item--MAC should really make this a permanant part of their collection. It's gorgeous and absolutely perfect for the summer.

This is a great highlighter for my browbone! The color is gorgeous and it leaves my skin with a subtle glow whenever I use it. This product doesn't irritate my skin and it has great staying power. I use it whenever I'm having a night out! Recommended!

Its pretty in the package, but its a product that you need to be careful with because it can make you look greasy rather than glowy.

Very pretty golden highlighter shade...I'm not as crazy about this as I am Glissade, but this really does give a beautiful glow to the cheekbones and brightens my whole face. I am definitely happy that I have this in my collection...
UPDATE: There are times that I wear this and think it just looks kind of pasty on me. I prefer New Vegas to this one now for a lovely evening look...
In fact, this is getting swapped away...
Here's my list of favorite MSF's on my NC30 Eurasian skin with golden undertones:
As blush:
1. Stereo Rose
2. Petticoat
As bronzer:
1. So Ceylon
2. Warmed
3. Global Glow
4. Shooting Star
As highlighter:
1. New Vegas
2. Light Flush
3. Northern Light
4. Gold Spill
5. Shimpagne

Received this product in a swap and am glad I did! At first I was hesitant because of other reviews where people were dissatisfied, but I am glad I swapped for this because it is the perfect highlighter for my NC45, NC50 skin. It is too much to use over the entire face, but placed along the tops of the cheekbones, on the brow bone, and other strategic points of the face it creates a nice glow. I like it too because it actually shows up as a highlighter on my skin. Used this way, I will have this a long time, but if available, I would repurchase if I ran out.

I love love love this as a highlighter. It's my first MSF and definitely won't be my last- I've been brought over to the dark side! ;D
I use this, as everyone else has mentioned, on my cheeks and onto my temples, as well as on my collar bones or in my cleavage if I'm going out/wearing a low cut shirt.
It is a little metallic, as someone below mentioned, but if you use it with a light hand you'll be fine. I've never experienced any chunks of glitter as others have. I love it, I would definitely repurchase if I ran out.

I bought this at the end of winter and liked it when I was using it sparingly as a shimmery highlighter around the eyes. However, now that it is spring and I ams elf tanning, using more of this on cheekbones, temples and forehead over my bronzer and swept across my lids it is giving me a wondrous glow.
it is really stunning. as someone said below, it is so big i might not need to ever repurchase, but if i did i surely would. i will want to keep this handy during the sunny seasons every year.

LOVE IT! i am really obsessed with glowing, shimmering cheekbones lately, and this does the trick for me. it gives such a pretty gleamy look, i NEVER see any "chunks of glitter" at ALL, just very fine shimmer. what i love about this is it somehow gives an almost metallic look in certain lighting, but don't let that scare you off, it's beautiful. you only need the tiniest amount on your brush to get the right look, so i can see this lasting forever. i mean seriously, years, and i use it almost everyday. i use a regular inexpensive fluffy blush brush to apply and it works great. my favorite place to put this is in a "C" shape going from my browbones down to the tops of my cheekbones, but it also looks gorgeous on your collarbones, down the middle of your legs to give them some sexy glow, and on the cupid's bow of your lips. one thing i will say is if you're on a budget but still want a gorgeous highlighter, Wet'n'Wild's All Over Shimmer is a great alternative to this MSF, and costs a LOT less, but i think it may have been discontinued because i can never find it anywhere. to sum it up, i love Shimpagne and would definitely repurchase if i ever ran out.

This is so big i might never have to repurchase, but i would because it gives a very nice bronze glowy look and it looks fantastic with any peachy blush. First i hated it but once i read that the 188 is the brush for this. i tried it and it's soooo true don't apply it with the 182 it just makes the chunky glitter stick to your skin, the 188/187 are the only way to go imo. :) But if you don't like this then you might love sunsparked shell(forgot name .lure collection)it's much less obvious and cheaper :)

I was never a big fan of highlighters until I discovered MSF. Shimpagne was my second purchase, and I am very happy with it. Looks kinda bronzy in the pan, when applied it gives me a golden glow, so I guess it suits warm toned people. A light hand is a must, it also helps if u have a brush that doesn't pick up too much pigment.

I LOVE THIS MSF :) I agree that you love it or hate it, but for me it's 100% LOVE! I am pale, with green eyes and dark brown hair and I wear this with Rimmels Apricot blush and it makes me look (I don't mean to brag but...) AMAZING! It gives me a great glow...time for me to try and get a backup!

this is my first MSF and i LOVE LOVE LOVE the way it looks on my lids. it's like the perfect everyday-wear eyeshadow i've been looking for--which looks both natural and not plain boring. however, as a highlight on the face it barely shows up at all and i was a bit disappointed as paying that much for a giant pot of eyeshadow isn't really worth it. to have any colour on my face at all i have to layer it on top of blush and even then there isn't much noticeable shimmer and brightening effect at all. oh well, maybe i have to layer it on thicker.

Shimpagne is one of those MSF's people either LOVE or HATE. I unfortunately am in the later group. I bought this when it came out with A Muse and I wanted to LOVE it so much. It doesnt do anything for me! On my NW20/25 skin it makes me look greasy and oily, like a dirty shimmer if that makes sense. lol Needless to say the only thing I use this for is an occasional brow bone highlighter. It pretty much sits in my traincase. :/

there is so much hype over mac's MSF powders that it's nearly overwhelming. i went to the counter for eye shadow, but i ended up coming home with this. shimpagne is an amazing "finisher" for my face. i kinda apply it in a C shape going from my browbone down to my cheeks. it's such a gorgeous color, this pan looks like it will last forever. i'm definately interested in more, but there is no way in hell i'm paying what other people are paying for these on ebay. that's just lunacy imho.
