One of two favourite body lotions; a delight on sensitive skin. Smells fantastic: like ice-cream and caramel, and somehow reminiscent of good things in childhood. Quite a light lotion, and absorbs fast. The Buttermilk bath (powder) is also very nice as a special treat on dry flaky skin.
INGREDIENTS: water, helianthus annuus (sunflower) seed oil, glycerin, cocos nucifera (coconut) oil, stearic acid, beeswax, fragrance, glucose, tocopherol, citrus aurantium dulcis (orange) peel wax, aloe barbadensis leaf extract, buttermilk powder, xanthan gum, sucrose stearate, sodium borate, rosmarinus officinalis (rosemary) leaf extract, glucose oxidase, lactoperoxidase

I view this more as a fragrance product than as a body care product because, quite simply, this lotion is runny. It's not very moisturizing, so perhaps it would be a good product for someone with oilier body skin. That said, however, I love it. You can't beat the smell of these Baby Bee products! This may not make me silky soft, but it sure does make me smell good, so I will continue to buy it.

I love this body lotion, and in fact my whole household love it. It smells warm and comforting, and it moisturizes the skin so well that everyone has addicted to it as an after shower must. Just lovely!

I love this, it's super moisturising, and leaves my skin very soft. UPDATE: Although I do love the scent, I find it a little overpowering, so probably will not repurchase.

When my daughter was a baby she had terrible eczema. I tried everything under the sun to help her and nothing worked.(prescriptions, home remedies, you name it her father and I tried it!) Finally a friend of mine recommended trying this lotion along with Cetaphil bar soap and within the first 2 days of using them her eczema cleared up. I was so happy, she occasionally has a small bout of it and I just go back to using the lotion and soap and it goes away . I will definitely keep this my bathroom for my daughter.

This lotion is okay... I find that it's not moisturizing enough for me and it doesn't leave my skin that soft and silky.... It doesn't really help my super eczema-prone dry skin in the winter. I've found my HG, and it's Bella Lucce Silk & Honey Body Lotion! LOVE THAT STUFF..

This is my standard body lotion right now. I'm so in love with the Baby Bee line right now! This lotion is very moisturizing and I don't find it the least bit greasy. In fact, after my shower, I'll put on some Apricot oil and layer the lotion on top. I stay moisturized all day. I carry the travel size in my bag for school, and have the full size at home. I wish it came in a bigger bottle for the price, but I'll still keep purchasing it. A little goes a long way and leaves you smelling so yummy! I highly recommend it...it's wonderful as an after shave lotion. It doesn't sting like some of the scented lotions I've used. Highly recommended. If you haven't experienced the Baby Bee line, this is a great place to start!

This is one of my favorite body lotions. It is runny at first, but very moisturizing and it sinks in rather quickly. The scent is so unique - it's a very sweet, soft floral scent that makes me feel absolutely snuggable. It has a relatively long lasting power for a lotion, which I love, since products that fade quickly are pretty much a waste of money. I have somewhat dry skin and my skin is always soft and smooth after putting this on.

Smells soft and sweet. I love it! It goes on thin and light, but moisturizes all day. This is one of my staple products that I won't do without. It's the only lotion I put on my 11 month old daughter.

i like this, just not as much as their other lotions. the scent is okay, sweet and mild, and it does work, but i'd rather use something with a lower toxicity rating on my baby's skin. i use weleda now.

This is the best lotion -- gentle, safe and it smells heavenly. It's scented with osmanthus and it's light yet fragrant enough to be used as a fragrance. I love it for myself layered with the powder and the soap. It's very nice.

Ugh! I have no idea how well this stuff moisturizes...it smells so bad I can't go very long without having to wash it off. Going by the other reviews, seems lke you either love it or hate it. I thought I would keep it and just use it as far away from my nose as possible, like on my legs, but I can still smell it and besides, skin care is a luxury for me, I don't want to use something I hate just to use it up. One day I put some on my hands and forearms at work and a girl I work with said "oooh that smells nice" Well, I have a present for her...she can have the whole bottle, I have barely used it.
When you first open the bottle, it smells like the Baby Bee apricot oil, which I don't love but don't hate either - but when the lotion is on my skin, it is horrible - it must just smell bad on some people depending on their body chemistry. Too bad. I wanted to try the Baby Bee soap, but I hear it smells just like it.

Wow. They weren't kidding about the fragrance. It's really quite overpowering when you first apply the lotion and for about an hour after that. However, it does fade, so don't get put off by the fragrance when you test or first smooth it on. Simply put, this stuff makes you smell exactly like a baby. It's a VERY intense, sweet, powdery scent. I must say I'm not completely in love with the scent, perhaps it takes some getting used to, but the thing I like is that the scent probably is very long lasting given it's intensity - long lasting fragrance in body lotions/shower gels are very rare, but is something I always look for because apart from perfume, I like my skin smelling nice all day. Ok the thing I DO love about this lotion is how fast it sinks in with absolutely no greasy feeling. I bought this because my Aveeno Creamy Moisturizing Oil that I use in the day, was running out - I'm in love with the Aveeno and it will be a staple of mine, but I'm always a sucker to try new products. I figured nothing could beat the Aveeno for the non-greasy feeling that it has but this has totally matched it - I definitely can use this in the day and not feel sticky. It's a very runny, thin lotion. I used to think Burt's Bees was all about packaging and cute names, but looks like I'm gonna be a convert now. UPDATE : initially I found the scent very overpowering, but I've gotten used to it now. Instead, the Milk and Honey lotion's scent is unbearable. I used it a few times and absolutely have to stop and only because of the fragrance.

I'm back using this lotion again after a 3 year absence from it, and I don't know how I went without smelling this wonderful scent for so long! The fragrance is divine, and the lotion works well, too. It absorbs quickly and moisturizes the right amount for my skin type (sensitive but not too dry). It has kept my body's skin, including knees and elbows, very soft this winter. Someone needing heavy moisturization may need to look elsewhere, though.

Buttermilk Lotion calms me, and perhaps because I bought it specifically for my baby; the scent, of apricots and honey, now takes me to him, anytime, anywhere. The consistency is just perfect - not runny, not thick - and it sinks in nicely, while the scent noticeably lasts (at least on baby's skin, I've found.) Found in the organic section of my local grocery store, Baby Bee seems accessible enough - and I'll definitely be buying more from this paraben- and preservative-free line.

This lotion is a little runny for me but does the job. It sinks right in--no greasiness. I found the scent to be too sweet that lingers for hours--it clashes with my perfume. Overall, I really like it. My skin gets really dry and itchy in winter months and this is the only lotion that calmed my skin. Because it works that great for me, I'll just have to get use to the scent. A definite repurchase for me.

I bought this lotion because my sister uses it on my nephew and his skin is the softest baby skin I have ever felt. It is a very effective at treated dry skin due to climate changes and is light, not heavy or greasy. It’s also good for baby boys because it does not have a distinctly feminine fragrance. A little on the expensive side, though, for a baby product.
