A little bit chunky on the glitter here. Its basically a heavily pigmented white shadow, so no layering but the glitter puts me off a little bit. Believe me, i'm not adverse to the sparkle but i prefer a smoother white, as i only really use it as a brow highlighter. Is it me, or does the glitter have a tiny, tiny hint of gold in it?

This is just an 'Okay' white shadow. It is a shame, because without the horrible chunks of glitter this could have been so much more. I only use this as a brow highlighter, or to put accents on my exsisting look. It has a gorgeous pearly sheen, but it doesn't really show up that well- and then when you go to put on more, then you have the 'glitter overload' problem. It also has a very gritty texture. It does stay on well though, and it does it's job as a white shadow- even if it has flaws! I will use up my pan, but will not be repurchasing. There are MUCH better shimmery white shadows out there.

A very glittery off white shade. Has yellow undertones, as opposed to bluish. The glitter is not as gritty as it is in the Uzi color. Actually looks great as a highlighter. Can be layered to be more opaque. I personally prefer the color when used dry as to wet. Staying power is average... tends to fade after several hours, but many e/s do. I am overall happy with it tho. I am on my 3rd container. Looks great in any season!

I looooove this eye shadow! It has to be the most perfect white I have ever tried. It has almost an off white tint that really saves it from looking like you drew a line of chalk around your eyes. I like to wear it if I am going to wear bright lips. I think its the perfect neutral. When I first read the reviews here I thought it was going to have show girl sparkles or omething, but it is not that sparkley! I think its just the right balance! Yes the glitter does wind up a little bit on your cheeks, but I just go with it. I recomend this shadow to any one who wants to brighten up their eye area!

Very pretty and sparkly (glitter! it's chunky!) wash color that makes my eyes pop. This one has the notorious chunky glitter, so it's better to use with Visine or some MAC water-based mixing medium. The color pay off is really pretty though, so it's worth the effort. I'm not a cool toned person (I'm warm, MAC NC30) and it still looks really pretty, I'm impressed. Great pigmentation on this shadow, as with all the UD shadows I've tried.

This is a really nice eye wash color, it resembles a silverish white, with MAJOR glitter. I wouldn't recommend this to people with contact or with sensitive eyes. The glitter tends to go everywhere under the eyes, and it can easily fall into your eyes if you're not careful. I use this to highlight my brow. I probably would buy this again.

If white shadow comes back again and you love glitter, then you should pick this up if you don't mind paying more money for e/s. It is quite glittery, but it is a pretty shade of white. If I feel like going all out on my eyemake up, I will wear just this (eyelid to brow) and brown/black eyeliner with mascara. If you pair this with red lipstick, it makes it very dramatic and doll like. I started hunting for a glitter e/s because I saw Britney Spears wear a super glittery eyeshadow on TV for a special. Sad, I know, but it looked gorgeous on her and it must have been UD that she was wearing. The downside is that I think all UD eyeshadows are too expensive.

Of all the UD eyeshadows I've got, the most disappointing by far are this oneand Oil Slick - the black and white colours which surely should be the mainstay of any "dramatic" eyeshadow collections. Polyester Bride has a weird gritty texture with WAY too much glitter to be particularly versatile, it's really hard to work with.... if the glitter was finer and smoother it might be lovely, but as is, it ain't. I use PB from time to time as a highlight colour and amn't going to throw it out or anything, but I wouldn't pay full price for it, and won't be purchasing it again.

I use this one as a highligher on my browbone. I pair it with Smog and Oil slick for a night time smoky eye look. Gorgeous! I love the glitter too but it can get a little irritating so watch out!

I love Urban Decay!! I love P. bride!! Its very nice as a hilighter. Ive been wanting it for a LONG time and finally got my hands on it. The only downfall is its a little grey on me. I thought it would be PURE white but it has hints of grey. ( on me at least ) But I love it and will buy again!!!!

This is my fave highlighter I use for night or a I want a dramatic eye. Not a big fan of UD, but with this eyeshadow, I never encounter problems with UD's other eyeshadows well known for the falling glitter problem. It's a classic shade of pearly white which works beautiful paired with grey shadows. I use this on my brow bone and pair it with Stila's Twilight, Shore and Pewter. Just stunning.

It's my everyday highlighter shadow.I'm sure most people will be shocked because they are the ones who run away from glittery stuff as they see a ghost. I,on the other hand, love shimmery and yes even glittery makeup. And this shadow is like MADE with glitter.I'm not talking about a bit of hint,I'm talking about a pot of pressed glitter here BUT it also has this beautiful pearly color in it so I can use it everyday.
I have this in a shadow palette and in a pot-so I won't be without it for a long time. It's weird because I can see a huge difference between these two.The pot one is a lot more chunkier and glittery while the glitters turned into silky smooth shimmers in shadow palette. However,I have a complaint about the pot one.It is the old packaging which is plain metal with screw top. Well it's sometimes stuck and impossible to open:S But I won't cut any lippies from this very useful, beautiful shadow for a stupid pot, but it's totally annoying.

I have this in the Sell out palatte. It is a silvery shimmer, it is versitile, can be used as a highlighter on the inner corner and browbone or used to blend with darker colors. The glitter does not bother me, it does not fall all over me. I will buy when mine runs out!

I love this eyeshadow. Great to wear at the top layer of the eye and underneath the eyelid. Stays on well and looks good.

I am someone who goes for an everyday natural look 75% of the time and plays around the other 25%, but I use Polyester Bride all the time. For everyday, use it with a light hand and a small brush in the inner corner of your eye for the best brightener around. Also, a light dusting over any shadow will brighten it up, along with the whole eye area. For an evening look, I love to use this as my highlighter shade with my grey smokey eye look - it is stunning! On the browbone and in the inner corner, it looks great with a medium grey on the lid and black liner and mascara and a light face and lip. Don't be put off by the glitter. It starts off subtle, and gets stronger as you layer it. This is a surprisingly flattering and versitle color.

I loooove polyester bride!! Its by far the most used shadow I have. Its so versatile! You can use it as a highlighter, or just as a regular e/s and you can mix it with so many other colors. There is a lot of glitter, but I think it just enhances it, because on me, the glitter doesnt look like its too much. I recommend this to anyone who has an addiction to eyeshadow because this is just too good to pass up

This eyeshadow is way too glittery for me. I too found pieces of glitter everywhere on my face. I don't like this shadow and gave it away.

I guess this is the "glitter" pitfall that everyone was talking about -- this is way too glittery for my liking so I've put it up for swap.

I just can’t get into Urban Decay’s glitter eyeshadows! I used to looove glitter in my younger years! It’s like many have said – something about the addition of glitter into the eyeshadow formulation that renders it more difficult to apply and obviously grittier. This is a frosty white shade with silver and gold glitter. Would look great as a highlighter, minus the excessive glitter flaking all over my face. But over all, this eyeshadow is a disappointment!

When I first got the gypsy den face case, i totally ignored the e/s in polyester bride(what was i thinking!) but once i tried it on wet and it created a perfect look for me. I like using urban decay soot pencil over it. It simply looks gorgeous! Can't wait to get the full size :)
