i'm currently using this and love it! it lasts long, gives a very nice glow, kinda sheer but you can build it up...basically it's the best bronzer for the natural look~would def recommend to fair skinned ladies :)

I just got this in the Lela Rose and beauty.com set off the Stila web site bc I was desperately wanting the e/s in Starlight and lipglaze in Cranberry. The site says the set includes this bronzer in 02 (the darker option) but I lucked out and got it in 01. I had pretty much written it off before it even arrived. I didn't feel too much more enthusiastic when I opened the compact. I thought for sure it would be too dark for my pasty white skin.
So I was very happily surprised when I swiped some on and realized that it goes on very sheer with little if no shimmer (a big perk in my book). Also *a very important note* it does not look like I rubbed dirt on my face or used a bad fake tanner. The color seems to work perfectly for my skin tone and it even matches my freckles. It camouflages some sun damage around my forehead/hairline area while it softens the look of my fairly large forehead, another perk.
I had given up wearing bronzer for a few years. There are several good ones, like Cargo's matte bronzer, but I just got tired of trying to make sure I didn't overdo it.
Big praise for Stila's buildable color with this product. Thank you!

LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff!!! I've been using this bronzer for 8 years and I still love it. I continue buying time after time because I get so many compliments on it and everyone always how I get such a beautiful sun kissed glow.
UPDATE: I've been wearing this bronzer for around 8 years or so. But I recently bought I new one and the color is darker! I have always worn shade 2. Shade 2 is darker and muddy looking now! Im so disappointed.

I got this item from a set so I didn't pay full retail for this. I have the shade 02 which matches my NC30 skin perfectly. It gives me the nicest glow and sun kissed look. However, I've never owned any bronzer before this so I have nothing to compare to. I do have alot of blushes and MSFs, and from what I have, I like this bronzer alot. I like the fact that it's pretty matte which gives a nice finish, especially for my combo skin. :D
I think I'm going to try NARS laguna after I finish this. :)

In love! I have olive south asian skin, and I get quite light skinned in the winter months when I don't have any sun exposure. I had bought MAC bronzer in refined golden over the summer, and it had started looking muddy on me with my lighter skin. Also, too much sparkle for regular war.
I bought Stila Sun in shade 1 after the good reviews here and i am thrilled! The pigmentation is rich and smooth, but you can still achieve a subtle sheer look even with a heavy hand like mine. This gives me a PERFECT sunny, peachy glow. I can understand why this would look too orange on lighter skinned gals, but on me this is just right. No shimmer, cute packaging, the price is a bit steep but this will last you forever, as I just have to swirl my bronzer brush in this once to get good color payoff.
Search for my perfect bronzer has ended!
EDIT: too orange! ugh after finding estee lauder bronze goddes, i realized this color is not the perfect bronze! just need to find something that doesnt break me out

I'm a PPP and i love this bronzer, i use it almost everyday and it looks so great I have to force myself to give my other products some love too.
Gives a natural healthy glow and doesn't make me look a like a disco ball as it's matte.
You could almost use this product to contour.
Would definitely buy it again!

Well, WOW! I got the #2 as part of a set and I am blown away. I was prepared to give it away because I have such major issues with bronzers. EL Bronze Goddess is my HG and really the only bronzer I have ever found believable and wearable on my skin. I'm not sure what came over me but I grabbed the compact and ran to the bathroom, picked up my trusty SB#1 brush and floofed some of this stuff on. OMG! I love it! I am pretty light and thought for sure I would look like a dirty, ugly terracotta pot like I seem to look with most bronzers but not so! I look healthy and vibrant and just plain fabulous. I am not yet ready to say I am kicking my BG to the curb but I am thinking this stuff is at least going to give BG a run for it's (or my!) money.
(FYI, It is a similar shade to EL BG in that it is brown with some red in it and no orange or pink. It is slightly more brown than the BG.)

I really like the way this product looks; it leaves a nice glow. But the product shattered in the compact while it was in a padded makeup bag in my suitcase! I wouldn't buy it again.

My favorite bronzer. It has a natural glow and works really well on my skin. The color stays true all day. I would definitely purchase again.

This is a pretty bronzer that isn't shimmery but gives you 'the glow' its great for when i'm a bit tanner because sometimes in winter its a bit dark eve with adequate bleding it still looks unnatural. But that just because i'm pale!

This is the most natural powder bronzer I have ever used. The biggest thing for me is that it isn't shimmery, something very hard to find. The color is a perfect tan shade. The only thing I don't like is that I have to touch it up more than I would like. It fades on me pretty quickly.

I recently purchased this bronzer and so far I love it! A lot of people said it made them look orange and I can see why that would happen if you have really pale skin. I have a beige/medium skintone and I chose shade 1 so it looks natural. The key is to use a very good high quality brush and apply it lightly or it will look very fake. I will most likely buy this again if I don't find a better bronzer. The compact is also quite cute!

I bought this bronzer two years ago in shade 2 and absolutely loved it. My friends and co workers kept complimenting me on it and a bunch of them also went out and bought it. Then I ran out and had to buy a new one last year. I was persuaded to buy shade 3( ltd ed.-i think) and that was a big mistake-it was waaay too dark ( my skin tone is med.) When I got another shade 2, I didn't like it as much as I once used to and now I can't even use it anymore bc I realize I look extremely orange when I put it on, no matter how light the dusting. I don't know if it's my taste or the bronzer that has changed!

Shade one is kind of orangey on me, but maybe it looks good on paler people. The compact is very cute though.

I really like this. I am PPP and it is about the only bronzer that looks decent on me. I do have to use a very light hand though!

This was my frist bronzer purchase after the Stila SA convinced me that I needed it (in shade 2). In retrospect, I don't think I needed it at all but I was interested in trying a bronzer for some time and since I love Stila, I thought why not. The quality is very good but I've figured out that I'm not the bronzer type. I think for me it's a good product to use why you want that extra glow on nights out. If I ever buy another bronzer, I'd like to try another brand.
