Update: Like all Bumble products I've tried this ended up disappointing me. My hair started drying out.
I rated this highly because it does what it's supposed to, unfortunately I think I may be sensitive to it. My hair looks shinier & it was damaged and dull so that's a plus. It's also much smoother, it really cut down on the frizz. I'm not crazy about the smell but it doesn't bother me once it dries. The cons are the price and possible sensitivity. I've had an itchy scalp on and off since I used it this afternoon but I also used vo5 shampoo which I don't remember having a problem with in the past. Either way this is a good product but I'm unsure if I'll be able to keep using it.

I really like this product. I have fine, short hair. I have tried many different products in the attempt to bring lasting fullness to my hair, most the time with no success. This product, however, leaves my hair soft and touchable, but with quite a bit of bounce. I am outdoors quite a bit, and it holds up to the different elements upstate NY brings. I will definately buy again!

This might be my favorite B&B product! This is a lightweight spray product that I use in a variety of ways: as a pre-blowdry lotion, as a heat protectant before using a curling iron or flat iron, and as a finisher/frizz killer on styled hair. I know this used to have a drying alcohol in the ingredients, but the last time I purchased, I noticed this was gone from the ingredient list. Not sure if it has been reformulated or tweaked, but I'm not complaining. As with other spray products, I tend to have a tough time spreading it evenly on my hair. Thus I spray on hands first and then run hands through the section of hair I am going to be styling. This method works very well.
For reference, I have thin, fine, naturally curly hair that I often smooth or straighten. I'm not sure if this product would work as well on thicker hair. It seems very lightweight to me. I also enjoy the scent, which I would describe as the classic B&B smell. I'm not sure how to describe it exactly, but I find many other B&B products (including some shampoos and conditioners) to be similar. All in all, this is a versatile product that I highly recommend. I only knocked it one star because I do need to use another product on my hair, usually an anti-frizz serum on wet hair. This can't quite do everything, but it's close. Worth the expensive price tag.

I have straight asian hair and in the heat and the humidity, nothing usually will hold my curl (I use hot rollers). The B&B styling lotion works great to hold my curl without making it hard and crunchy. You can still run your fingers through it but the curl will hold for about 9 hours through heat and humidity. I LOVE this stuff! Also, I don't need to use hairspray when I use this.

I'm still reeling from the price of this ($25... um... hello?). I was seduced by the smell and the promise of light, nonsticky hold in my very fine hair... fully intended to take it back, given my shelf of eight billion styling products. But I didn't. Am using it every day and loving it. I spritz it on after I blow-dry and before I use the curling iron, and something in it works. Banishes flyaways (amazingly), holds curl, makes hair soft and shiny, but not flat. So far so good. Would probably not repurchase due to price, but makes my hair feel so good I keep running my fingers through it. So the jury's still out. :)

I really like this product so far. I've used it twice and with great results. It really holds my hair straight before I use the flat iron. Supposedly it also helps with protecting the hair from heat. It doesn't make my hair feel crispy or hard, it just enhances it. It also looks a lot shinier with it. Really like this stuff!

Great product! I have long (bra-strap length), straight, thick hair and this styling lotion has worked wonders for me. Without it, my hair refuses to hold a curl and goes flat (due to it's length and thickness). This styling lotion gives me volume, helps hold a curl or straightening, and gives my hair a bit of texture so it stays put after styling. A bit expensive, but highly recommended!

Made my hair sticky and did not work well for me at all. I have medium/fine hair and only use a dryer and round brush. This did not hold a curl and was hard to manage the blow out, glad I only purchased the small travel size. No worth the money

love this stuff! I spray it before I blow dry and flat iron. Protects my hair, adds shine, a little hold and body. Smells really nice to!

I was looking for something to hold my hair in a style without making it sticky or hard like hairspray. Overall, it's super pricey, but works great in my fine hair to hold a good blowout. I use it in combo with the styling creme to create body and lift!

Ohhhh…why the heck did I waste my precious moolah on this? I am using curl conscious and grooming crème and was looking for something that would provide greater hold on my curly hairstyles…this did squat but add on the greases for my hair!!! Didn’t do much on giving any hold to my hairstyle at all…wont waste my moolah anymore!

I have practically all of the B & B Hair shampoo's and hair styling products, The shampoo alojoba and gentle shampoo are both great, i love there tonic lotion spray, and There Bb prep spray, but there stlying lotion, didnt do what i wanted it to do, and there hair spray didnt give me that ultimate hold i wanted when I styled my hair. so I have to continue to stick with Tigi hair gels, sprays, and other hair styling goo's, hopingly i can find me a miracle for styling my hair without fighting it.

I love almost all of B&B's products, but this is my staple. After a few spritzes of B&B tonic on towel-dried hair, spray in the styling lotion and you get a helluva blow out. My hair holds its shape without being goopy, sticky, or weighed down. My favorite! Its impact is subtle but awesome.

I've used this product for years. I notice a difference in my hair when I do not use it - my hair is flatter. I have thick highlighted hair. I usually apply a leave in conditioner and then spray this on before I blow dry my hair. It probably makes my hair a dry but the control I get when I blow dry is worth it.

I am trying to finish up my bottle of Styling Lotion. I usually use and love B&B Thickening Spray, but I thought I would try this since it claims to protect hair from heat. It does an okay job of providing volume at the roots and giving hair some texture for styling, but it makes my hair a little dry sometimes. Overall, I prefer the Thickening Spray or Styling Creme. For reference, I have fine but thick highlighted hair.

I don't really know exactly what this does for my hair but it's become an HG for me. If I don't use it, I definitely notice a difference. I use it on my damp hair before I blow dry and it seems to really hold my style. I have even noticed that my style remains for the next day. I can just spray a little on my dry hair the next day and blow dry and my hair is good to go. I use to use straightening creme, wax, and shine stuff but now, this is pretty much the only thing I use. For special occassions, I finish with B&B shine spray and my hair looks great. The bottle is expensive but so worth it.

I found this spray really interesting because it made my hair have body, but it wasn't sticky and it didn't coat my hair. I like the idea that it protects your hair from blow-drying too.

I have really fine and flat hair that usually does not hold it's volume for more than 5 minutes after styling. The only products that work on my hair are bumble & bumble products. This is one of the products that remains in my routine. I've been using this product for years. I love it. It smells good. I either use this or the thickening spray.

I spray this on damp hair after I shampoo/condition. I comb it through and let it air dry for a few minutes before I blow dry. It helps me manage and blow out my course, dry, color-treated hair. It doesn't do anything magical for me, but its a nice, basic styling lotion that will give a little structure to your style.

I really wanted to like this.Luckily I bought a small bootle of this for only ten bucks. For a blowdry product, it failed for me. My hair laughed at this. For a nice, styling product, it was ok. A little crunchy, but gave my hair a light hold and made it soft. I paired it with some mousse for added definition. It smells good...I suppose bananas. I will not purchase again once my bottle runs out.
