The majority of my eye shadows came from MAC. I love the color and texture selections. My least favorite are lustres, but I will not be taking points off because that's just my preference and there are so many other textures to choose from. If a color doesn't work out, I'm able to exchange with no problems -- what more can I ask for?

I wanted neutral yet pretty eye make-up for daytime and work. The MAC artist suggested these shades for me: Texture, Arena, and All that glitters. I purchased all three. These are my first MAC shadows and I see what everyone means when they say MAC shadows blend and wears well. These shadows make application so easy, I am eager to try more vibrant combinations!

I think MAC shadows are for the most part good shadows. HUGE color range and MOST are well pigmented. I do have a few though that are grainy and the color just will not show up very well. I love to depot them and place in the 15 pan pallettes.The excellent color range is good for both the neutral shade lovers and the more expressive makeup artist.

MAC makes great eyeshadows. They stay on, and don't rub off easily and don't wear off with just out-and-about use. There is a wide range of colors, so there's one for every person, no matter what. I recommend their shadows, and hope to build a steady collection.

Mac's got great e/s, blushes, glosses and lipsticks. High quality and a wonderful color selection. Their 224 brush is a must. Dont like Mac's mascaras and of course their foundations are a tragedy.

Have been using MAC eyeshadows since '99 and I have yet to find another brand that touches MAC. A shade for every mood and occassion. Without question, worth every cent.

I like the colour selection and how finely milled these are. However, I do get a bit more creases as with my MK eyeshadows. But MK just doesn't have a lot of NATURAL tones, and MAC has those. Un-natural ones as well. They just have them all.

Holy crap-I love MAC eyeshadows. Their amazing texture..blendability..pigmentation. I just love them. My favorite finishes are Veluxe pearls(duh!), frosts, and lustres-although I do love them all. I have tried pretty much every high end eyshadow and every low end eyshadow and never have a I encountered anything more beautiful then these =D. I think EVERYONE can find the perfect mac shadow for their coloring..EVERYONE has a perfect color out there for them-its just amazing-the color selection goes ON AND ON..I loveee these..and for high end-THESE ARE CHEAP!!! =)

Love these eyeshadows! They stay put (especially when used with MAC Paint), are relatively inexpensive, last forever if you don't break them, and come in about a million colours. Their range of hues means that the MAC MA can, for instance, find the perfect green shade for your skin tone, instead of finding that green that just makes you look dead. Plus, most MA's at MAC are helpful and happy to help you apply before you buy, which is great when you're contemplating some of the bolder colours.

I LOVE my eyeshadows and could not live without them. These are some of the most amazing colors... textures... and blending capabilities I have ever run into and I dont plan on swicthing to any other brand. They offer you great prices with great packaging and you look just amazing and can see the transformationa nd the art in makeup when you use mac... its vibrancy and quality are amazing...

All MAC eyeshadows ROCK in my opinion. The variety of colors is bar none and the pigmentation is awesome. The different textures come in all colors and so many beautiful combinations can be created. They are reasonably priced, unlike Stila which is so expensive yet is comparable in quality to MAC. I will never use another line of eyeshadows ever again.

love my mac e/s! there is a shade for everyone and everything. selection is incredicble, texture is a dream, they wear all day, no creasing, and blend perfectly with any other shades you use them with. you can't go wrong with mac shadows, they are classics!

Great pigmentation, easy to blend, and a wide range of unique colors. These don't crease at all on me and last for hours. What's not to love???

After reading through many reviews I finally decided to try MAC eye shadows and now I am hooked. The color selection, quality and packaging is great. (I’ve gotten the pan shadows.) Thanks to the MAC store near my home, in about two months I have collected over twenty shades, some colors worked, some didn’t but at least the store has a friendly exchange/return policy. I will certainly be adding more to my collection.

Yes, this is expensive, but YES I will continue on buying this. What a great line of eyeshadows and colours, and one eyeshadow lasts FOREVER. You get sick of the colour before it actually runs out! It is very pigmented, so you only need a little bit. These are my HG eyeshadows!

I am a MAC eyeshadow addict! I love the blending ability and the pigmentation of the shadows. They have awesome lasting power when used in conjuction with a shadestick or a paint. This shadow goes on smooth, lasts all day and doesn't crease. The consistancy of the shadow for me is second to none. It is velvet smooth and a little goes a long way. I have had some of my shadows for 3 years and they still have tons left. For the price this is the best eyeshadow in my opinion!

I guess I am in the minority but I dislike MAC eyeshadows. The colors are great, with a very nice selection but these shadows looks horrible on my lid. My eye looked crepey and the shadow seemed to go on thick and was somewhat chalky.

I only buy 2 brands of eyeshadow - MAC is one of them. The color selection trumps every other brand out there, they give you the option for a majority of the colors to buy them indindividual pots or buy them in magnet-backed pans for a palette (and if you plan on having more than a few, it is a huge space saver), they offer many different finishes (7 according to the website)...I don't even look at drugstore brands because I expect to be disappointed with them.

There is a lot of hype around mac eyeshadows, but I think that's because everyone is been brainwashed by commercials. There is shadows of the same quality for 1/8 of the price.
I got severe allergic reaction to all MAC eyeshadow because they contain both bismuth oxychloride and carmine, plus a bunch of other garbage you might not want on your face.
