I have several NYX trios, and I absolutely love them. I'm on a mission to own all of them. At $5-7, they are pretty cheap. Most colors blend well and last pretty long without a base.
My favorite colors are: dark brown, taupe, walnut bronze, copper, lilac, and black.
I like the packaging, it's just the quote on the bottom "For Sexy-Babe's Eyes Only" makes it sound cheap or weird... If it didn't have that slogan, the compact would be pretty sleek.

I have this in Copacabana which includes a cotton candy pink, a tan suede color, and a chocolately brown shade. While the colors are basic, pigmentation is great. The texture is by far one of the silkiest I've tried, and goes on smoothly. I almost mistake these for a cream shadow.

I like this product. With good pigmentation, modest pricing and a huge array of colors there really isn't much to dislike. These trios are an excellant way to add a variety of colors to one's makeup collection without having to spend a ton of money.
Would I buy this product again? Not likely. I have 13 of the trios, and even though the trios are a better buy (average cost: $5 for a trio = $1.67 per shadow), I'd rather spend the money on one of NYX's single (average cost: $4) eyeshadows because there's a HUGE disparity between the color and quality in the trios versus the single eyeshadow. The "Kiwi" in the trio is different from the single one, so is "Brown", "Taupe" and the list goes on.
The quailty of the shadow is different in the trios as well. They tend to more more powdery and less pigmented in the trios versus the single shadows. I'll try to put up comparison swatches in my pictures.

Fantastic product for the price- it is the poor-mans version of MAC. I'm not a big fan of the packaging, because the mirrors in mine have fallen off every. single. time. The sponge applicators are nothing special, but the colours are well-pigmented, last for ages without a primer, and blend well.

I love NYX eyeshadow. I love the packaging. It's perfect to carry n has a little mirror n the little 2 sided brush- but I really don'tuse it but it's good to have. I think the price is perfect foe the product. The colors are highly pigmented n I actually prefer these over mac shadow! I think mac is over priced. Mac is selling their name more than they r selling their products. NYX is a great subtitute especially if u dnt wanna spend too much on awesome eyeshadow.

I think this product is good, its inexpensive enough to try new colors and play. I am a MAC girl and I love their colors..they are true. So its a good product for the price. For girls with oily skin be sure to use a primer or mac paints to keep these in place. You get what you pay for.

What can I say about NYX shadows that hasn't already said by previous reviewers.
I LOVE NYX shadows
- Highly Pigmented
- Easily Blendable
- Awesome Color Selection
- Pricing is unbeatable ($4.99 at my local store)
I've gotten more compliments with my shadows and creativity using NYX shadow trios over my MAC applications.
I hiiiiiiiiighly recommend NYX
btw, get some of their NYX loose pigment shadows too, they are sooo bright and easy to work with into the eyeshadow trios and pots.

Thank the lord, that I have finally found my HG eyeshadow palette!
I got barely there (a highlighting color thats off white with a golden shimmer), champagne (the PERFECT champagne color... almost pink.... but more of a copper with gold in it), root beer (a taupe brown shade almost mauve).
I've heard great things about these eyeshadows seperatly and have been dying to try NYX to see if it was almost as good as MAC!
Now, we all know that NYX products are nearly impossible to get a hold of... therefore my options with the color choices were not great. BEWARE this palette looks really boring.... but once applied to the skin..... MAC isnt even comparable.
This palette is SHIMMERY not sparkly and together or seperatly they work amazingly as a day look with a little mascara or a night look if paired with a lot of eyeliner!
This palette cost me 9.99 CANADIAN.... and i just cant get over how perfect it is!
BTW.... this is one of those palettes that look perfect on anyones skin tone... I highly recomend it!
Plus it dosent crease, smudge into your eyeliner, and lasts me through the day and night!
BEST BUY OF MY LIFE!
Oh and I completely forgot.... the packaging is wonderful.. you can see all the shades without opening it up and its very simple but stylish!
Oh and those nasty sponge brushes they put into palettes... this one is actually pretty comfortable and useful!

I would definitely recommend this product. I brought a few different colors. These eye shadows come in a variety of colors that glide on easily. The color is long lasting, shiny and the pigmentation is wonderful. And best of all you get three colors for a very reasonable price.

Wow. I bought these because I read all the glowing reviews and then stumbled upon a local store that sells NYX. These shadows are fantastic. They are super pigmented and very easy to blend. And the big surprise is how long lasting these shadows are! They last all day - even without my UDPP. With the UDPP, they need to be removed with remover!
Did I mention what a dream these shadows are to blend? :D I will be buying them all, at $5.88 per trio, they are super affordable ~ $1.98 a pot! I feel like I have stumbled upon something really, really good.

Disclaimer: I prefer to use a base with ALL my shadow brands. That said, these e/s blended beautifully and lasted perfectly throughout my usual 10+ hour day!
I picked up my first three trios today. 08, 11, and 12: at 1.99usd for each compact at my local non-brand name beauty supply store. You guys, try looking in your BS stores for these. My local store had a large selection of the full trio line as well as all the colored mascaras for .99cents. These were not on sale - regulary priced this low!
Gorjuz colors. Beautiful, soft, easy application. Pan size is large giving lots of product to play with, nice size mirror in each compact. Compacts are attractive and pleasing to the eye.
Con: compact can wear on the fingernails trying to open the grooved clasp.

I have four of these, black/white/grey, two palettes of purples and yellow/green/orange. They are wonderfully pigmented and last quite a while even without primer. However, whenever I apply them they do crumble a little bit and fall onto my cheeks. You can remedy this by applying your foundation last, and wiping off any spillage once you're done.

I have 12 NYX trios and 12 singles, so what does that tell you? Most of mine are neutrals and browns, but I have some blues, green, and purples as well. I purchased the singles and 6 trios at Albertson's grocery store, and ordered the othe6 6 trios from Cherryculture. I agree that the quality rivals Stila and MAC, and the color selection is equal to MAC. NYX trios and singles have something to please everyone, and although they can be hard to find locally they are easy to order online. Certainly some are more pigmented than others, and most are shimmers or frosts- very few mattes. Gypsy (single) is a particularly beautiful purplely brown which I go to a lot. These are great eyeshadows!

Can I tell you how in love I am in with NYX? I just yesterday bought the trio I am wearing today - it is some nudish brown colors, can't rem exactly what they were - I think the colors were: aloha, mink brown, and deep bronze - but I am so impressed. The trio was 7.99 and you got another NYX item 1/2 off. SO, price is AMAZING. I am telling you, I may never go to the MAC counter again. This stuff is the bomb. It blends like a dream, and the staying power is wonderful. The compact is a sleek little black case - WITH a mirror - and while the applicators are just ok, I never use the applicators anyway, I use a brush - these have the feel of an expensive brand - the quality is here but the price is not - LOVE IT!

I really love NYX eyeshadows. The colors are very pigmented and doesn't fade throughout the day. I definitely would buy again. I just wish they were easier to find. The Ulta store where I live carries them, but they only carry limited colors...bummer.

I received 2 of these in swaps. All colors seem to be true to the colors they are and also they seem to be very smooth and long wearing. I would highly recommend these over most department store brands.

I bought two trios (was gonna buy more but had to refrain myself since previous experience with the brand was terrible)
First trio was: copper/rust/bronze:really pretty colors, very well pigmented and great lasting power I would give this one 5/5 I love it!!
Second trio was: "hippy chic", very nice in the pan, not so much on my lids. Has a beige, green and violet colors, I bought it for the green and actually is the only one that gives a color, but not even close to the color in the pan, the beige one is kinda like "Aloha", really bad with big chunks of glittler/shimmer and the lilac, itīs almost transparent and chalky you donīt get to see the color at all, the green is a nice color but as I said before not as bright as the color in the pan. With these maybe a primer would help (I donīt have a primer so I canīt really say) and for that I give this trio 3/5.
All in all theyīre good is just that not all the trios deliver the same color results. I would buy again but just after testing the colors before.
