I seriously hate this product. They no longer carry my shade W3.5, so now I have to mix W4 and N1. it almost always oxidizes, transfers, and despite the fact that I have an oily t-zone only, I almost always look oily. Not dewy, oily! I do not recommend and I will not repurchase.

The one thing that this line is known for is the color selection. I agree with the hype about this. I am a yellow, warm undertone and there are so many shades for me whether I'm paler or more tanned. I typically use W3 as a base. If I need to go darker, I can just mix my W5 and it's perfect. I love the coverage and blendability of this foundation so much. I also love how cheap this foundation is! The only negative thing I can think of is how liquidy it is and that there is no pump. I often find myself pouring out so much product and then just wiping it away with a napkin. It's such a waste. But, because of its affordability, I don't mind too much.

I actually did not buy it, I got this from my mom, who works as a journalist, and gets tons of new make-up products every other month. Sadly, since these are sent by companies, she can not always pick the right shade (they would send 3-4 bottles of each product, not an entire line). So, I got this in August, I believe, opened it once and I did not like it. It did not match my skin-tone (I have a fair skin, but I was tanned then as well), and generally I found it to be way too cakey, and watery. I like a bit more cream-like foundations, or even mousses, as I prefer full coverage (my skin tends to get red, and I have some acne scars). I gave it a go again this winter, once my skin was in its natural shade. It matched me per-fec-tly. The colour match was on point, but then again I was afraid my face would get cakey and all that jazz. I moisturized, primed and then put the foundation on with a beauty blender (I have got an oily skin, I always need to prime). It looked great, even in the strong light. My peach fuzz was invisible, although I felt a tiny bit masky (is this a word). I mean it looked so good, I almost looked as painted. I later used powder, and a setting spray, for it not to smudge. With oily skin everything always smudges. But True Match did not, it could be the setting spray, but I really looked good all day. I do not know how to describe it, but as I was first applying it I thought 'nah girl, it ain't even mid-coverage', when I was finishing the make-up though, it started to look as it is actually full coverage. I do not know, maybe it needs to set, maybe I put on a little too much. Either way, I liked the final affect, and I would go as far as to say that it is a bit better than Estee Lauder's Double-Wear. The only problem I have, it has a bit too watery formula, but I can definitely work with that.

I'm an NC30-37 and I picked up the shade N6 Honey Beige. Weirdly enough not many stores stock up on this shade. I got mine like 6-8 months ago and I JUST ran out of it. Love how it glides effortlessly on the skin, covers pretty much my redness and minor pigmentation on my cheeks and forehead. I won't say it's 100% forgiving on dry patches, but it is more dewy than most foundations. I think the finish is satiny. Very comfortable to wear, but also easy to over apply this product because of its blendibility. You WILL look cakey if you apply more than 1 layer. This is my go-to product for a quick outing where I want to look just decent and not made up.

As much as I wanted to absolutely love this product. I just couldn't get it to look right on my skin personally. It's a real shame because the color range is spectacular, especially it being drugstore!

I really wanted to love this product. This has one of the more comprehensive shade ranges in the drugstore, and it's easy to match yourself. I match W1/W2 well, which is hard, because most shades are either too pink for me or not light enough. The packaging is easy to use, it's not too expensive, and it has SPF, if you like that in a foundation.

However...whenever I apply it, no matter how little I apply (including a mere smudge on my cheek) it immediately cakes up into a grotesque, textured film on my skin. I've tried it with my fingers, with the real technique's sponge and one of the brushes, and the effect is still the same - instant cake face. It clings to the baby fine hairs on my cheeks like nothing else, and it doesn't cover a stitch of my hyper pigmentation along my cheeks. The only place it sits right is my forehead, which doesn't really require much coverage to begin with. I don't know if the product is to blame, or if my skin's texture is partially responsible, as my skin is sometimes a bit rough nowadays. There is an ingredient in some sunblocks that causes a mild reaction, so it may be the SPF that upsets my skin so much.

I will say that it does hold moderately well on my combo skin, with relatively little fading or oiliness peaking through, and the shade is excellent. But with the instant cake face and possible SPF problems, I have to pass on it. Those that like the SPF, like the shade range, and like medium coverage foundations for combo to oily skin, you may want to try this though.

I tried this foundation in the summer. I consider myself an "NC40" in MAC. I bought this in W6. the shade match was good. When wearing in the summer I did get a little oily which is weird bc my skin is dry. blended really easily could use this with any tool. however it broke me out pretty bad, I think it was bc of the spf. bottle has no pump either.

I tried this a while ago and it was very VERY oily on me! I have pretty normal skin, and it made my face feel like an oil spill and would just wipe off on anything! This may be a good foundation for dry skin, but I wouldn't recommend for any other skin type.

I picked this up after some friends recommended it. It gives me flawless coverage, blends very easily, and it's a great match for my skin. It's not mattifying, so if you're naturally oily, I would use a setting powder and primer. Fortunately, I'm not oily, and this lasts all day on me. I wear an N3, and I have had several customers at my job ask what I wear, as they compliment that my face looks flawless and poreless. I will repurchase! A little goes a long way with this.

This foundation is pretty watery and does not really settle on your face so you have to actually blend blend blend. I like L'Oreal products but this one was not one of my favs. Purchased this a while ago and just use it when I'm out of my good foundation and true match is my only last resort lol. Overall I wouldn't recommend if you have oily/combo skin.
