I absolutely LOVE this! At first I thought it gave no coverage at all, but you need to use enough to see results. I use about a dime-sized amount, dot it onto my face, and then blend with my fingers. It really gives a nice look to the skin, and it matches my skin tone perfectly. I would definitely recommend this product!

I have purchased this tinted moisturizer for years and it's great! It's a nice break from heavy foundation and perfect for the summer, since it has SPF in it. The coverage is very sheer, but what do you expect from a tinted moisturizer? The only bad thing about this is the pinkish hue in it, which definitely brings out the red in my pale face, but that's okay at least it still works :)

This makes skin look smoother and brighter without adding too much color or coverage. It doesn't accent dry parts of my face, and doesn't get too shiny in the oily places. It's great if you're lazy or in a hurry. It's a fantastic tinted moisturizer and I would recommend highly. Again, this will provide barely any coverage, so it will have to be used with concealer.

I remember using this when i was first starting to wear makeup. I was only allowed this and a cherry chapstick. It was back before it was known as Aqua CG Smoothers and was just CG Smoothers.
I don't know what happened; if they changed the formula or my skin just changed over time. But now, the same shade as before gave a pink hue to my skin and a couple hours later, my skin was very oily, even after setting it with a powder.
I will not repurchase this, sadly. I will use the rest of the tube so as not to waste it.

I don't understand why people get annoyed at this product being so, so sheer. IT'S A TINTED MOISTURIZER, PEOPLE, NOT SHEER FOUNDATION. It's meant to be natural, as if you're not wearing anything at all. I know some may need more coverage, but it's alright for me. I'm the sort of person who abhors the feeling and look of regular foundation, so this is perfect for me! It does just enough to even out the pinkness in my skin and not much else. It's not greasy or heavy and looks quite matte, though I do use a powder over it to set. It feels moisturizing without being oily and makes my skin feel really soft and just dewy enough. I think it would be great for any time of year, especially in winter when my skin gets super flaky. Plus, the color is so sheer it doesn't make my wayyyy pale skin look funny. I'd recommend this for someone who is comfortable with wearing something that is very, very sheer and needs a little moisturizing without a lot of fuss. Repurchasing when I run out!

I've been using this product for many years, I have sensitive, dry skin with some occasional cystic acne and this doesn't break me out or irritate my skin. Since I don't sunbathe my color is the same year round and fair to light matches my very light olive complexion perfectly. I use it for daytime.

I was very disappointed in this product. I was hoping for something lighter than a foundation that would sill conceal a little bit of redness. This product is so sheer that my skin looked the same before and after applying the product. This does feel very moisturizing on my skin, and it does have some spf. I will continue to use it up, but i will not be buying again.

I guess this is okay if super sheer is what you're looking for. I guess the color matches my skin okay, it would be hard not to as it's so sheer. It was not what i was looking for, i wanted something with light color, but there is closer to no color than light color. I also will not use this as a sole moisturizer, I put it on as a second coat of moisture. I will use this until it's finished, but will not repurchase.

I am trying to replace my Maybelline Pure Makeup. Unfortunately, Maybelline is discontinuing this line of foundation.

Pure Makeup was wonderful because it was somewhat sheer and felt good on your skin. After much research, I decided to try a tinted moisturizer.

I am enjoying CG Smoothers Tinted Moisturizer. Its sheer… very sheer. I have good skin, but this did not cover near enough. But it feels wonderful. Some women have said that they add mineral foundation afterwords. Being broke, I wanted to see if I could make this work without having to buy another product. Here is what I did to overcome the lack of coverage.

Step 1: My skin is dry, so I always use moisturizer no matter what.

Step 2: Add your concealer before you put on your makeup!! The added coverage of the concealer stick makes this work. By putting the concealer stick on first, it blends with the foundation.

Step 3: The Moisturizer is very creamy and absorbed the thick concealer stick wonderfully.

Step 4: I always add powder after my foundation. Keeps me from breaking out. In this case, you can choose to add powder or not. The powder does help keep the makeup from smudging.

Over all I will most likely stick with this option unless someone gives me another very high recommendation.

For anyone with a pink undertone I would be wary of this product. I have lots of pink/red in my fair skin and based on the little sticker thought his would work out. But no, I knew it was going to be bad from the first squeeze, this stuff is so pink. It looks like the pink primer from MUFE. The coverage is extremely sheer, like basically nothing, and because its so pink it does nothing for redness. My skin is dry and I did not find this moisturizing. Only good thing about it is that it has sunscreen, but even then I don't want a pink sunscreen, so... total waste of money. Luckily it wasn't much, but still, so disappointing.

I decided to start using a tinted moisturizer since the weather is getting colder and my skin gets dryer. I'm a light/med complexion but i bought fair to light because the med was a bit too dark.

My skin is on the dry side.
This stuff feels so good on my skin.
It's very moisturizing but feels light and gives me that dewy glow.
I use 2 layers and that gives a little better coverage.

I still have to use concealer on my blemish discoloration areas. I sometimes dust some Bare Escentuals on top for complete flawless coverage.
My skin has been looking great since I've been using this.

A good drugstore tinted moisturizer, one of the few out there. This is smooth for a few hours but starts to get a little cake-y and sinks into pores and such. Little coverage, enough to cover redness but that is about it. Blends well into skin and the color works well.

Age: 19-24   Skin: Acne-prone, Fair, Neutral   Hair: Brunette, Curly, Medium   Eyes: Brown

Before I begin, my combination skin is mildly sensitive and acne-prone. I have moderate acne and severe redness. I did not buy this tinted moisturizer in hopes that it would cover my skin's flaws, but rather reduce the appearance of redness somewhat naturally. This product did, in fact, deliver the desired results. So please, take that into consideration when reading the rest of this review.

After using this product, my t-zone broke out, overnight, into somewhere between 30 and 50 tiny, hard, white blemishes. It was kind of ridiculous. The bumps cleared up quickly, however, so it wasn't so big a disaster. I think this was a freak reaction my skin had to this product. If you have sensitive skin, however, perhaps your skin will have a similar reaction.

I give this a 4 as a functioning tinted moisturizer. It feels great on the skin, and looks pretty darn good. However, I docked a lippie for the skin problem it caused for me. I hope this works for you.

This really makes my skin look flawless, dewy, and healthy; not matte. It's very light-weight texture that spreads easily and smoothly. It's also a great price and matches my skin tone PERFECTLY (I'm very fair/light-skinned and many products end up being too pink or too orange on me). It really sinks into my skin (combination, sensitive skin type) without flaking off. It doesn't give great coverage, but helps to even skin tone a lot! However, I get breakouts of acne after I use it! Maybe I am sensitive to some of the ingredients? IF this is reformulated to be less comedogenic/acne-genic, I definitely want to buy it again!

I'm really liking this drugstore tinted moisturizer. It doesn't cost too much; about $6 or so. The packaging is alright; it's a squeeze tube. You don't need much product in order to cover your whole face; approximently a fingernail sized amount.
It gives light to medium coverage. It does hide little hints of redness but of course, it's just a tinted moisturizer so it's not meant to cover up problems completely. Overall, I really do enjoy this product.

its affordable, you won't feel guilty if you chuck this after a few tries, heh.

its pretty light, minimal or no coverage, doesnt dry out the skin.

i hope it really lives up to its claim of being a moisturiser, and sunblock at the same time!

have to set loose powder over it though, or its a little sticky, and tends to shine

It really doesn't provide much coverage. If you have great skin already and want a little something, this is good. Doesn't cover any zits, scars.

I really really wanted to like this! I started applying with my eyes closed to get a feel of the makeup. It felt so moist! It even made me say "Ooh. This stuff feels great!" Then I opened my eyes and was very disappointed. I looked-shiny. If that was the desired look, there'd be no need for me to wear makeup lol. I kept building layers (yes, looking this time) and could see no coverage building. Eventually, I just washed it off bc the oily sheen was making me nervous. Up close, I was so embarrased. It seems like the pigment stuck to the tiny hairs on my face instead of skin. It made me look like I had sprouted a mustache!! Now that I've washed my face and applied moisturizer, my cheeks are burning. This is such a letdown.
