This product is my favorite for summer (and sometime winter when I don't feel like wearing much makeup). It's not very moisturizing, but I have combination skin that tends to get oily as the day goes on, so that's not a big complaint for me. I wish there was a larger variety of colors - I combine an odd mix of about 2/3 shade 1 and 1/3 shade 2 to get the right color for me (MAC NW20). It's not the best as far as tinted moisturizers go, but the price is right ($8) and it's good enough for me. Probably not great for people looking to actually moisturize with it - great for combination and/or oily skin though.

Does practically nothing for your face. Also is dry.

Not so keen on this product. The shades run a little too dark for my liking and I felt the tint didn't apply as smoothly as I would've liked. I ordered a Speedway stick to replace this so lets hope I see an improvement there.

I usually wear Tarte's TM, but as I was running low on product and cash I decided to see how this would work for me. It took me awhile to find the right shade and it turns out that I wear Mark 1. But as everyone knows these run really dark. The actual product is ok, it evens out my skin tone, the color matches well and it is reasonably priced. I did find that it just doesn't blend well into my skin(even after moisturizing), which is a problem I have had with other TM's. So, I will still use Tarte's TM because the overall look, after the product has been applied it just better for me. But,I will still keep this around too as it is a pretty good product and in a pinch it works.

I wholeheartedly recommend these to anyone interested in a reasonably priced and results-driven TM. Okay, that sounds a bit too business like, the bottom line is that these are great, cheap and pretty. They last and smell nice and include SPF, so you can't really go wrong...(pause)...except with the color choices. They run exceptionally dark, so watch out. I'm usually a 'Medium' in everything and I have to use the lightest color (mark 1) in these. Mark 4 is a "glow" shade for face highlighting so anyone can use that one though. Tip with these: If (due to your skin texture) you run into any streaking with this product (as some ladies have noted in other reviews) apply a very light bit of the Things you Dew Mark moisturizer (it's extremely lightweight) or your regular light moisturizer first. I know it sounds funky to moisturize BEFORE you apply a TM, but that may help get a more even application since these are pretty pigmented and more creamy than liquidy. Try it out!

I love this! I have Mark 1 and it is great! The best part is you can't feel it on once it is on....it is sooo light! Blends nicely and lets my freckles show a bit....

I bought this in Mark 3 and it was absolutely horrid. The consistantcy of this product leaves something to be desired. It was way too watery and I couldn't get it to really cover anything. It appeared very streaky and my face ended up looking like a zebra. However I bought the Mark 4 glow product and didn't have any of these problems. I would definitely go for the Glow versions because the regular version doesn't seem to do the trick. . .at least not for me.

This is a nice, light, moisturizing foundation. It blends in perfectly with my skin and covers just enough of the imperfections to make me still look natural. I am freckly and like to show my freckles; I don't like thick foundations that cover them up! This evens out my skin and lets the freckles show through. It's light and feels like you're wearing nothing. And it lasts all day! You use a tiny amount so the container lasts for a long time. For the price, I'd say definitely give it a try!

I *HATE* this!

I know you're supposed to shake well, but I have shaken this thing for half an hour and it still looks like terra-cotta when I put it on.

The packaging is cute, but that's the only good thing about it.

I have this in two shades: Mark 2 (which I swapped for and was too dark-gave me a faux-tan look) and Mark 1 which I just purchased and fits me nicely. I'm a medium-light olive complexion that usually runs the medium/middle through every cosmetics line. Here I'm at the tippy top of the list. That alone tells you how dark these run so fair ladies, be forewarned. Shade limitations aside however, this is an absolute wonderful product. Doesn't excacerbate my oilies or breakouts, gives an allover natural finish and no offensive odor or price to speak of (Usually $8, but got it 1/2 off). I even like it better than Stila's TM (I've also tried HC and Origins)...this one is still better and gives you that "whoa, it's still on" second-glance as you pass by a mirror even hours after putting on your face. Definitely a keeper for me! Dare I say it...HG!

I'm pretty skeptical when I purchase things with out being able to try them on -- well, I didn't like this product. It just didn't do it for me. It seems that everyone else is pleased with it.

Guess I will keep searching for the perfect coverage.

i love thiss stuff! im only sixteen so i dont feel the need for full coverage (i have a MAC studio fix but i dont use it too much because it makes my face so shiny around lunchtime) im pretty tanned, so the mark 3 blended in perfectly...also it didnt feel very oily (and i have oily skin!) and it was still natural looking...covers redness and minor acne problems

I'm an NC25, yet the lightest shade (1) is the one that suited me. It gives me a great 'something better than my own skin' look without looking masklike at all. This is my first-ever tinted moisturizer and I'm very please with how it looks.

I had a sample packet. You girls should ask your mark rep for a sample packet of the colors. My mom told me to try Mark 2, so I did thinking Mark 1 would be too light, but it gave ma tanned look which I don't want. Then, I tried Mark 1, and I liked it. It blended well, and gave me a polished look. The only thing is that if you have oily skin, then you may have to blend a little there and there sometimes throughout the day because it seems to crease or hunch in a corner which means you have to blend, but it won't bother me enought. It could also be that you'll need the powder that mark has.

My one advice to picking the best color would be to get the packet sample which isn't so expensive at all, and hold it up to your skin--the one that blends in the best is probably your color.

Don't waste your money--get samples!

Update: Okay, I like this product, and I recommend their Powder. It fixes the creasing around the eyes. My face is not as oily when I use these two combined. I recommend them.

this is great, great stuff. it's soo nice on, feels like nothing, wears all day. i think it's a tinted moisturizer that gives more coverage to flaws than most tm's do, but not so much coverage as a full foundation. even for an oily girl like me, this keeps the shine away, almost like getting a semi-matte finish from a tm! it's a very natural looking creamy finish. i love it and you can't beat the price.

This isn't that great as a foundation alone. I have normal/slighty combo skin and no breakouts but old acne scars that are light. I am a light MMM and I bought number 3 and 4 and they were both wayyyy too dark. Made my face look dirty. It also didn't cover any imperfections and I ended up blending it with my usual foundation. I think the packaging is cute, but that's about it. It made me feel really oily which I never do at the beginning of the day. I am going to try it again in shade 2 and see if I like it better. But you've been warned! The colors run really dark.

C-Thru-U is a super-sheer tinted moisturizer that manages to even your skin tone out. It won't cover up anything more significant than that, though. However, it's pretty hard to blend and streaks after a bit. I'm a LLL and got this in Mark 4. I could see a person of my coloring getting Mark 3, but the 4 gave me a glowy sunkissed look. Too bad about the streaking. The best part about this? The price! It's so cheap. However, I wouldn't buy this again.

As a mark rep, I wanted to try this so I could tell my clients about it. I thought it would be like a moisturizer with a tint but it went on more like foundation but didn't cover anything really. It felt funny on my face (texture) when I'd touch it. It's not the worst I've ever tried but just wasn't really impressed. It's okaaaaay.
