Call me strange but sadly I think I am the only DDD on this site who this blush does not work for. I am a MAC C7 or NC45 and on my skin the blush looks more like stale foundation mixed with red paint (dirty) and the actual rose or flush color does not show up at all. Maybe it is as a result of my very deep yellow undertones but then again blushes of similar color such as NARS dolce vita and Laura Mercier blushing apple look fabulous on me. This does not do anything for me other than make me look tired and worn out. That said I will leave this one alone and try Love Joy.

atahis blush is perfect for dark skin I am a DDD NW 45. I love that it's very pigmented, it is a mix of brown and berry red. I love it alone or with a highlighter over it.

This looks lovely on dark skins. I thought it looked a bit too outrageous when the girl on MAC first showed it too me, but after she put it on. I was like wow, it made me glow. It gave my face another dimension, cheekbones.

This blush is going to have to grow on me. It comes off on my nc50/nw43 skin tone a ruddy reddish/brownish color. I originally saw this blush on a youtuber name Ateeya. She looked gorgeous with it on so I finally brought it. When I wear blush it usually liven my face. This one doesn't. I layer a black radiance blush called Soft Honey and it brings some life to the blush and my face. Both colors together look great. However the Raizin alone I don't wear.

What a beautiful blush. I was a little scared that this was going to be a little too "harsh" on me when i swatched it on my hand. It actually goes on so well as long as you use a really light hand and a good blush brush. I personally don't like my blush or contouring to be obvious so I literally have to barely touch my cheeks when applying this blush because it's so pigmented. This works out well for me (or for anyone that wants to do the same) because it allows you to use as little of the product as possible, meaning you get to keep it for a very long time. It also gives me such a natural flush (I'm NC44), it just makes my skin look healthy. I love this blush!

I had to go dig my raizin out...I absolutely love this blush, it's matte :-)
It looks gorrrg on my NC45-50 skin. If going out at night I layer it with bronzer.....LOOOOve it...

Raizin is a beautiful brown-y brick colour. It looks fabulous (with a light hand, of course) on my NC40 skintone, and for those of you who despise shimmer; this is shimmer free! Although it's matte, it's very soft and beautiful in texture.. It doesn't sit flat on the skin or look too "dry." It's just.. perfect.
The colour reminds me of Ambering Rose also from MAC, but without the shimmer. This is great for the daytime when you want a more natural look, but equally pleasing in the nighttime as well.
I would recommend the colour to all skintones, although fairer skintones will want to use a very light hand and blend blend blend!

NC50. This is the blush that I wear on almost a daily basis; it is mercifully matte in finish. A light hand and a skunk brush are a must; it is possible to overdo this one on even dark skin. But done well, it's very flattering. Looks glam with just the right flush of color. Staying power is also good; it lasts all day underneath my blot powder. Will repurchase when I run out, which won't be any time soon! This blush gets used regularly and doesn't even have a dip yet.

Women of color need to own this blush! We too can wear blush and this color doesnt fit into the "one color fits all" catergorey cosmetics companies have been getting away with for years. It works great alone and also in layers. Raizin works great to contour your cheeks and layer with another color such as Ambering rose.

Unlike most of the other posters, im asian nc30 and one day after the gym i was messing with my friends makeup bag (shes nc45-50) and swiped some raizin on my cheeks. it turned into a dark streak so i used a tissue to soften the colour and wow did i look bronzed. later at work a colleague asked if i went on holiday cuz he said i looked tanned! had many compliments that day. will buy one for myself!

I am NC42 in MAC foundation and I must say this is one of the most gorgeous blushes I have ever tried. It looks a bit scary and intense in the pan but lightly applied (skunk brush is a must here) it is so gorgeous. It magically lights up my face, the ideal combo of bronzer and blush on me. The only thing keeping it from absolute perfection in my book is that it is very easy to overapply and look a bit too colorful. This blush really carries a face---some mascara and lip balm with this and I just feel gorgeous.

To start, I have to emphasise that my skin tone is really rather on the pale side of things (NC25) but lightly applied this blush is very pretty. It is golden brown and the effect is like a combination of bronzer and reddish blusher in one hit. I would never have thought to get this, but MAC had run out of Mountain High and the MA said this was the nearest thing to it (although Ambering Rose is also quite similar and I do love that) Pale ladies...don`t be put off from using it, it`s lovely! EDIT: This is actually my HG blush, surpassing Gerbera. I love this!

I wear this blush almost every day - that's how much I love it! It instantly perks me my NC50 tone and can look either cute or sexy depending on how much you layer it. When I wear this I don't need to bother with my eyes and just put a slick of mascara and a nude gloss on and I'm ready to go.
I just wish UK MAC prices were cheaper and I'd buy 3 at a time!!
Love it! Love it! Love it!

I love this colour! My friend was wearing this colour and I asked her what it was. I had seen recommendations in Allure magazine for DDD girls to try this colour but had never gotten round to it. I am so glad I did now. MAC's blushes are a good size too - so I figure this will last a long time.

This was my first ever blush and for my skin tone (NC50) I still think its the best blush ever made by MAC. The colour is simply beautiful. So complimentary.

I went to buy this on a day I felt (and looked) absolutely exhausted. My eyes were puffy and red and I just looked drained. So I went into MAC to try out a blusher on my dark NW45 skin, and as soon as the SA put this on me I looked like a new person, fresh and perky. And I felt it too!! I bought it straight away and alternate between this and NARS Mauritius. I give this 5 lippies because before this I was a blush-virgin, and frankly didn't see a sense in a dark woman like me having "rosy cheeks". If you are an NW45 like me and still weary about blush, this is a great way to make your debut. It brightens up your face and makes you look perky and "rosy" if you know what I mean :-).

Raizin was the very first blush I ever bought and after seeing what else was available and worked for me and not against my skin and coloring, I realized that Raizin is not it. On my C7/NC45 skintone, Raizin is straight up red and left my face looking like I had a heat stroke. I keep it in my blush palette for sentimental reasons until one day I dropped my entire palette and this was the only blush that shattered into a million tiny pieces. I took that as a sign and didn't rebuy it.
