This is my favorite face wash! I dont wear that much makeup (foundation, blush, powder) and this wash removes all of it in one go. I find it gentle enough to use every day, and it controls my blemishes extremely well. I accidently picked up the oily/combination one, and I was surprised that my skin wasnt dry at all. With other face washes I have used I would always have at least one pimple on my face at all times, but I only ever get one or two before my period now. Has a very slight scent, not offensive at all. I love the lather and the richness of this. Have been using for 3 years now, and I dont think I will switch anytime soon.

a little on the drying side. however, it was really helpful in the hotter months. i don't think its as thorough as some other cleansers and the oil control isn't miraculous either. i would equate this with neutrogena's deep clean cream cleanser but i prefer this one since the texture is better

Even though this is a drugstore brand, I've found that it works so much better than a lot of department store brand cleansers. I have normal/combo skin and I don't wear a lot of makeup but I do wear waterproof eyeliner and mascara, and I'm picky about getting all the makeup washed off. This cleanser lasts a really long time, and a small amount works up a good lather. It isn't 100% perfect because it can cause my skin to dry out sometimes, but overall I prefer it especially since it's so much cheaper.

I have oily skin so I thought this would be good. But it was too drying for me. It cleaned my face and also removed my makeup but left dry patches.

i use this product at night nd use regenerist daily cleanser each morning. i like the deep cleaning face wash because it removes all my makeup-i use a face brush when washing my face-and gets my skin very clean. in addition, i had been using a harsh face wash and if i wasnt careful to keep it away from my eyelids i would wake up with my eyes almost swollen shut because it was burning my skin! i got tired of it after a few times (i dont know what i was thinking!) and threw it all away and went and got all oil of olay products. using the facewashes, the serum, and the tone enhancer works wonderfully on my oily, acne prone skin and the only think i plan on adding is a professional facial every 3 months. OOO is good but nothing gets all the gook out of my poors it seems.

I love the smell that this foaming cleanser leaves on my face although I usually don't like anything with a fragrance. It's gentle and it really lathers up well. My face feels very clean and refreshed after using. And the product also lasts for quite a while because you only need a pea sized amount.

Bought this on a whim to try something new in the Olay line. The Olay sensitive skin face wash with aloe was drying my skin out so I thought I'd try this. Cleaned my face well but left a mild film on my face. Also my skin broke out after the second or so day of use. Won't use again.

The texture and performance reminds of Shiseido foaming washes, but at a fraction of the cost. I use this in the shower for the morning cleanse, so it doesn't have to do any extra-duty makeup removal, so for that purpose, it seems just fine. Cleanses well and doesn't leave my oily/combo skin dry and tight, like some oily skin cleansers can do. What isn't there to like? Cheap and effective, so I'd probably buy it again.

i was hoping to use this as a makeup remover but after the first day of use, my face developed a rash. it was the worst reaction i've ever had from any cleanser. use with caution.

This was my HG cleanser for a long time and then I started breaking out in a rash on my neck. It took me months to figure out what was causing the rash. I didn't think it could be my Olay cleanser because (1) I love it and (2) I had been using it for a long time without a problem. After changing shampoos, detergents, makeup, conditioners, mositurizers, etc... this was the only thing left to change. After I stopped using this cleanser this winter, my rash went away. It's been gone for about 6-7 months now. I gave my unopened cleanser to my sister, and she's not hooked on it.
I gave this a mediocre review because although I loved it, it gave me a rash.

This is my staple facial cleanser in the warmer months. I noticed during the winter that my oily skin was a bit dry so I started using the Moisture Balancing Face Wash by Olay which is now my staple cleanser for the cooler months.
This is great at keeping my skin clear and smooth. Works really well to cleanse your face, feels good and clean after rinsing and no oilies.

This is my HG facial cleanser so far! I have combo skin and when I started using this my skin looked the worst it has ever looked in 20 years. I had these little teenager zits, not really ance, all over my forehead, chin, side of my face, and a few cystic under the skin bumps on my jawline. I've never really had problem skin so my family kept asking me what the heck was going on, as well as some concerned friends lol. I used this and it slowly began clearing my skin up. I think my problem was something hormone related (switching of BCP) but also had to do with the moisturizer I was using (Neutrogena for combo skin). This cleanser really takes everything off, strips skin of dirt, makeup, oil, everything and leaves it feeling clean and for me, not too dr, which is a plus. The only bad thing is, they don't sell this at any store in my town(walgreens, walmart, etc.), and I can only find it at Target in a few towns up. Hopefully this isn't dicontinued!!!

I love this product! I can't believe how inexpensive it is! I used to use Neutrogena face wash but then switched to this because I was using Olay moisturizer. It leaves my face feeling so clean and soft and I never have breakouts!
Recently I started working at Clinique and was using their 3-step system until my face got so out of whack that I just had to go back to this on Monday. Within one day my skin was feeling like its old self again! This is a definite repurchase for me!

I have normal/combination skin that has a tendency to get spotty with hormonal changes. Always on the lookout for a good cleanser I thought I would give this a try. This cleanser removes makeup and every last bit of oil on your face, which to some is great, but left me with a face as tight as Joan Rivers'...yeeowch! Don't even think of using this if you're worried about drying out your skin.

I have been using this product for about a month and have not had any breakouts since! I love it! It does dry my face some but I just use an oil free moisturizer and skin looks great.

I love this product!!!! I use it in the morning and I use the Clarity foaming cleanser at night. After I use this my skin is so soft and smooth. It doesn't feel tight or oily in a few hours. I can't believe that it costs less that 5 bucks.

I just started using this product a week ago, along with the Neutrogena At Home MicroDermabrasion Kit. So far, my very oily skin is responding well to the cleanser. I use it every morning and night and it never leaves my skin feeling tight and dry. I have had no new breakouts at all since I've started, but I'm not sure if that is because I started the microdermabrasion at the same time. Ah well, something's working for me. I unfortunately have a huge black head problem all over my face, especially on my chin and nose. I have noticed that that problem is lessening as well. This washes off very easily (unlike some of the reviews I have read) and I never feel greasy afterwards. So far, I will repurchase, especially since it's sooooo much cheaper than any cleanser I have ever purchased in all of my 23 years.

I am not sure if this product is a yes or no to buy. When I first started using it...it did not dry out my skin...about a month after it does dry out my skin, but I can't really complain because I do not break out more often than I already do when using this. My face has been producing extra oil maybe because this product is now stripping too much oil. So if I find a product that reduces acne then I won't repurchase. If not, I'll maybe go back to this because it is safe.
