I bought this when you still could get a full pan of the lighter shade. The lighter shade is perfect for my brows. I like how it is more of an ashey brown (not warm toned.) I use the stila brow brush dipped in water to apply. I find it is easier to apply wet, and the little bit of water probably helps it stay on too.

When I bought it, my hair colour was darker and I could use both colours. I've lightened my hair recently and started using the lighter shade alone.
Good product, allows you to mix and match to your almost exact shade.
Pity that the packaging quality was so-so.

i tried benefit's brow zings and liked this much better. although i don't use brow powder much anymore this did what i wanted it to. i highly recommend this over a brow pencil, brow mascara, or any other powder out there.

I really like the colors in this. With both of them, it is easy to blend and looks very natural--I'm dark-haired and had problems using other dark shadows for liner because it came out too dark, but with a lighter shade to blend in, it looks natural. My only complaint is the packaging. I wish they made this in a refill as well, as the cardboard packaging is inconvenient and now I have to rip the pan out of it to put it in my palette.

I bought this yesterday at Sephora for $16 USD. Sephora only had one color for this product, the DARK one. I wished I could see the other available colors in person but fortunately I'm naturally black haired and so this works for me. I like how there's a lighter color and darker color to blend together. My brows don't look too overdone with it, so I'm satisfied. The only thought I have is, how is this any different from brown eyeshadow [used with an angled eyebrow brush]?

My first and favorite brow powder. The lighter color is perfect for me. I took a lippy off because I preferred this when I could get a full pan of the lighter shade, rather than a half pan of each.

This is for the original brow duo.... now called medium brow duo. Great staying-power and natural colors. The colors go on darker than they seem, so although I have kinda dark brows I use the lightest color both to fill in and define.

I was actually looking for a pencil but I happened to show up on a day when a Stila MA was in the store. She used the dark duo on me (#1) and I really liked the results. Very natural ash toned colors that last a long time. A little product goes a long way so this will be a part of my routine for at least a year, I think. I too don't care for the cardboard packaging so I took the pans out an put them in a TM charger. Side note: I have very thin brows and think it's important to have a narrow angled brush to use with this because at first I used my Trish McEvoy brush and ended up with messy looking brows (drats!)... Based on the other reviews, I got MAC's 266 brush... much better!

The brow duo is absolutely the best!! I have always used a pencil, but the makeup artist at Stila said that the powder looks much more natural...i decided to try it!! I have no regrets...I absolutely love it!! It is also a lot easier than a pencil...and looks so much nicer

finally! a brow powder that I can work with and look natural - I am no expert and this one I can master - ((I have tried Clinique, Smashbox & other e/s powders)) - I really does last all day! - I use MAC's 266 brush (it's perfect) - the powders are very pigmented so a little goes a long way - it's gonna take a while to use this up (which will be nice)

I love this product. I've always used pencils, but the Stila MA convinced me that this would give me a more natural look. I have medium brown hair, and the Fair is perfect. I can use both colors to define and fill in the sparse areas of my brows.

The brow duo consist of two pressed powder shades: a lighter brown taupe and a darker true brown. These are VERY pigmented so a little goes a long way. In fact, the darker shade can be used as a liner if desired. I have very dark nearly black brows which need to be filled and defined. Using my trusy MAC 266 angle brush and the brow duo make easy work of them. I purchased in pan form and placed them in the 6 pan plastic palette so I have no comment on the cardboard packaging. This is a good product, but there are so many similar items in other lines to try. I'd only recommend if you are looking for a brow product in pan form.

Bought this over Christmas and love it. Will definately buy again. Leaves a very natural finish.
UPDATE: will not buy this again. The container is made of paper and it started falling apart. I think the container will be worn out before I am half way with using the product. Real shame as the color is great.

I absolutely love the powder. The texture is just right, the colours are great (i use them both combined depending on my hair colour). The staying power, I guess is good, but I still use clear mascara over it (keeps it on til the second day for partying!). And I've had it for 2 years already. I use it daily, and there's still half left @@;;. I don't like stila's packaging though, mine started wearing and looking fibery (it's carboard for god's sake!!) so I had to take the pan out and put it elsewhere. Other than that, I have no complaints, I would definitely purchase this again!

I think this is the most natural looking brow powder yet! I've tried the pencils, mascaras, and other brands of powder, but this one is the winner! And it's not just because I'm a Stila fan! It goes on very natural especially since you have the two shades to blend together. I also have the disc. one in dark brown which also works well. Lasts all day and night! Best of all I can add in my palette to go!

The powder goes on smooth and very long lasting even on my oilest skin! Both the colours are very natural. But the lighter one looks dark on me..i was expecting lighter colour.so the even darker shade is left untouched.
On the whole, i like it..make my brow neat and groomed.Of course the key is still a good eye brow brush!I use MAC one in this case.

This is the most natural looking brow product I have ever used. I use the light color on my whole eyebrow then use the dark on just the bottom to define it (the MA at stila showed me this) and they look so great. Not good if you have very very dark brows.

A great addition to my 8 pan! Two shades of brown, very complementary for me (I'm brunette) and blendable. I use the lighter shade every day, but for the evening or with a stronger eye look I use the darker. They also work very well as liners, or shadow (in fact they look great together!) All in all I'm very happy with this.

This set probably works well, if you're patient and practiced. I have found that the Stila mascara Taupe works well for darkening/filling in my brows. Just dampen and remove excess. It works fast and looks natural.

I've always used clear eyebrow gel to keep my brows in place, thinking I didn't need a colour product, because my brows are naturally dark. At a Stila makeover, however, the MA used the Brow Set on me, and I was amazed at the difference it makes. My brows look more defined, and frame my face better, without looking unnatural - I can't even see the colour when I look close into the mirror! I use the darker colour at the start of my brow, to fill it in, and then use the lighter colour on the narrower part of my brow. It's easy to apply with a slanted eye brush. The pot it comes in is the usual Stila cardboard, but I'm going to transfer it to my 4 pan palette.
