Ouch, this is like using sandpaper on your face. I don't have sensitive skin, but these are just painful to use. Maybe I'm not diluting the cleanser enough, but they also burn like heck. However, I agree with another reviewer, that they a good for exfoliating your feet! Hence the 2 lipstick rating. Will NOT buy this again.

first of all i have very sensitive skin so these pillows stripped my face of any moisture due to overexfoliation. i would not recommend using these on your face at all! but, i gave them an extra lipstick because they worked wonder for the pimples on my back and chest! the exfoliating side cleaned my problem spots better than any acne body wash i've ever used! do try

I like the idea of the pillow; but didn't care for the heavy scent. Also found the pad a bit too rough - too much for my sensitive skin. Three lippies because I thik these would work well on oily or thick skin. Will use the rest of the pack to scrub my feet!

I do not like pillows compared to cloths. The pillows did not seem to "breathe" enough to create lather on the outside. Although there is enough stuff inside to re-use, re-using does not seem sanitary, but throwing away seems like a waste. (I cut my cloths in half). I don't care for the fragrance. Most importantly, this cleanser really dried and irritated my skin.

i used these, and the cleanser contained in these puffs or pads or whatever they are is adequate, but what i really dislike is the puff part itself. the shape is so awkward to handle while trying to wash your face, and it's folding and slipping all over the place. at least the cloths give you something to hold on to. plus, the soap inside burns your eyes like crazy! pass- i would not repurchase this product. i did not find it at all convenient, and certainly not easy to use.

I used these for 4 nights and they've transformed my normally "easy-going" skin into a map of tiny bumps that give my face a leathery texture. This has only happened once before (w/ a generic version of Neutrogena's amber-colored Acne Wash) and I'm ticked. Also, the exfoliating side of the pillow is way too scratchy to be used on the face. As for the claims of luxurious foam--there isn't any (foam, that is). Thankfully, I just purchased the travel pack, so I'm not stuck w/ any other evil cleansing pillows of doom.

I would never buy this product again. The pillows were so poorly made. The soap inside always leak out from the seam while I try to moisten the pillow and make it foam up properly. AND I followed all the instructions!! All I could get on the pillow was just some soapy water while a stream of runny powdered soap would run down my arm as I try (unsuccessfully) to cleanse my face with the pillow. This product is just horrible.

Truly horrible things, these "pillows" - and I like the cloths. These are scratchy, stung my face, and if the lather gets in your eyes, oh boy, yeeeouch - hurts like billy-o.
To add insult to injury, they don't even clean your make-up off properly - and I don't wear much on my face. I'm throwing these away. A mistake.

I normally use the self-foaming cleanser. I REALLY liked the soft side b/c it cleans/smells like the self-foaming cleanser (which I love) and it gently exfoliates my skin. However, I don't care much for the texture side; I found it too abrasive for my face. I haven't figured out the best way to get the most lather out of each pillow but I'm having fun trying it. I travel a lot, so this will be GREAT to have, much more convenient than carrying a bottle of cleanser.

I received a sample in the mail and gave it a shot. They are a little bit too big for me, and only one side really feels like it is doing anything. The cleanser did clean my face and didn't dry my skin. You can order sample from Dove's website.

I've always used Dove's cleansing cloths and been very impressed by them but I wanted to try the pillows. For me, they were too small, slippery and hard to maneuver around my face. The exfoliating side was too abrasive and very irritating around my eyes. It did remove all my makeup and left my skin soft, however, I much prefer the cleansing cloths.

I loved the idea of these but in practice they were just more trouble than they are worth. I found the water had to be quite hot for them to swell up but once they had, they were sopping wet so it was hard to wash my face without getting water everywhere. Some of them split open whcih was crap. Once I had started washing my face they deflated quickly and if i ran them under water to puff them up again then all the soap went down the drain. The DID make my face soft and clean and take off all my makeup but i'd stick to the cleansing cloths for a far more convenient clean.

I'm not crazy about these. I got this in a sample. I used both sides of the pillow. First I used the textured side and then the soft side. It did washe everthing off my face, and it didn't seem to dry my face that much. It didn't lather very much...And when I added water it became a pillow, but while usign it, it just flattened...I added more water and most of the product was downt the drain...I just think it's an advertising gimmick...nothing very speacial about it. I'll stick with the old way, jsut pouringt he product on my hand...less waste

These ARE supposed to be for your face, right??? No thanks. Maybe they'd work better for your body! I'll stick to my Olay Facial Cloths!

The pillows are wayyy too big, but there's enough product in there to shower ur whole body with! The rough side of the pillow is TOO abrasive and it doesn't wash off makeup.

Long story short: THIS IS USELESS!!! Try fragrance free olay daily facials, sooooo much better!

I was in the store and saw these pillows on sale and had to give them a try. What a mistake! I just finished using one towel and I am incredibly disappointed in the results. I used my towel in the shower (so the steam would open up my pores). It certainly did "plump" up but there wasn't that much soap foam. In any event, I rubbed it on my face and the "textured" side felt abrasive against my skin (normal skin). It certainly did take whatever make up I had off. But that's where it tricked me. After washing my face, it just didn't feel right. My face didn't feel CLEAN...so after my shower, I dabbed some toner on my face with a cotton pad and was horrified to see how much gunk it had left on my face! The dove pillow not only missed more makeup but other dirt. The cotton pad was drenched with stuff my face was still covered with.

This is a waste of money. Don't waste your time.

I love Dove products, LOVE them, but I hate these. I don't understand: are you supposed to re-use them? There's too much soap, so you can't wring them out like you can the Olay cloths, and use them to wipe the soap off your face. It's as if you need a separate washcloth, which defeats the convenience factor for me.

Well, I liked them initially. They puffed fine, lathered to my satisfaction, took my makeup off.. but then came the time when I happened to have a hangnail and the soap started oozing out of the sides. Yeah, it hurt. And the soap kept oozing, stinging my poor face (and I don't have sensitive skin). Not worth the money, but you've probably figured that out by now. If you haven't, do yourself a favor and don't give into the little voice that says "Oh, these would be great and convenient!" the next time you're shopping for a cleanser. Move on, baby.

I hated these. The pillows are small and they were all flaky in the box I bought. Dry soap flakes everywhere. They burned when I used one. I gave it a second chance and used another one. Same thing. Soap got in my mouth and YUCK. Enough said.
