Feels like pouring silicone on my hair, but that's ok because it is a good detangler. But I wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for more natural products/curly girl type routine (just take a look at the ingredient list - I only used the new formula, so I can't comment on the changes from the old version, but the current version is a lot of synthetics & silicones at the top of the list.) This has a weird slip to it... it leaves a clean feel. That's why I like it on my wavy, long, fine hair from time to time, even though I generally avoid silicones & sulfates.

Wow. I have to agree with a couple of the other reviewers who said the formula had changed and it's not as good as it was several years ago. They're right. My hair was going through a dry spell and I'd had good results with Humectress in the past so I decided to pick up another bottle and it's absolutely not the same. It didn't help my parched hair much at all. What a let down.

This is my HG conditioner.
I've tried a lot of conditioners and I have to say this is the best out of all of them.
I LOVE the smell and the way it makes my hair feel. I love the natural ingredients in this conditioner. I love how beautiful it makes my hair. I love this conditioner.

Wow! I have just tried this for the first time and I am really impressed. My hair felt like butter before it was even completely rinsed out. I have thin colored hair, and sometimes deep conditioners are too much (dont think this is actually deep conditioner) but this provides me with the right amount of softness without being too soft, it still stayed in the pony tail. I really like this conditioner and may buy it for myself. (borrow a friends!). Smell is slight but pleasant, and it washed out completely, no residue, all I did was air dry!

I think this is my favorite shampoo & conditioner combo I have ever used. (Not a compliment I hand out freely) I really was impressed with this product!

This conditioner used to be one of the greatest- no exagerration! I mean, you could use it as a leave -in moisturizer with no problems, only tremendous benefit. Now? Horrible. All of the natural humectants (i.e. plant extracts) have been removed and replaced with cheap, chemical silicones. Look at the ingredient list. Even the oils come after the perfumes. Shame on Nexxus for tampering with such a great product!!

So I decided that my hair routine needed a serious overhaul with my wedding a year away. The girl who cut my hair recomened I try this. Now I was very skeptical being a fine curly hair girl (think shirely temple). However I am impressed, this conditioner leaves my hair silky, smooth, and hydrated plus works great with my shower comb. It is a little pricey though so I may seek a cheaper alternative. I will probably buy this again at some point in the future

I'v tried this product twice with aprox. 5-6 years in between. I have bottle blonde hair, its coarse and gets frizzy because I live in Dallas Texas where its icky humid. I do not like this conditioner at all. I got stuck with a huge bottle and look forward until I run out so I can replace it with something better. It does not condition my hair enough. It's thin. And i'm not crazy about the smell. This is unfortunate because I adore nexxus younger hair products.

I really wanted to love this conditioner, but it did nothing for my curly hair. Usually I look for a curly hair system, but because my hair gets very dry, sometimes I switch for a more moisturizing conditioner. Unfortunately, this did not work as that more moisturizing conditioner. It works as a decent conditioner, but nothing special. I really expected more from this.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION: Looking for softness and shine?
Nexxpert Advice: Hydrate dry hair with a blend of gentle moisturizers and natural botanicals.

Humectress® Ultimate Hydrating Conditioner transports moisturizing ingredients to the innermost structure of dry, parched hair. Hair is left smooth to touch with noticeable shine.

Directions: Apply to damp hair. Comb through. Rinse with lukewarm water. Avoid contact with eyes. In case of contact, flush thoroughly with water.

MY THOUGHTS: I received a free 89 mL sample of NEXXUS® Humectress®, along with NEXXUS® Therappe®, after registering on the Nexxus.ca website.

The packaging for the sample I received is an opaque, white pearlescent container with a black press cap. The white, creamy shampoo has a thick viscosity accompanied with a fruity fragrance.

Due to the presence of silicons, this conditioner left my hair softer than brands like Head & Shoulders, Garnier Fructis, or Herbal Essences. In addition, in combination with the NEXXUS® Therappe®, my hair felt lighter than usual. Perhaps this is because the shampoo didn't contain any silicons. However, when compared to L'ANZA's Healing Moisture line, my hair doesn't nearly feel as silky smooth.

INGREDIENTS: Water (Aqua, Eau), Cetyl Alcohol, Stearyl Alcohol, Cyclopentasiloxane, Dimethicone, Bis(C13-15 Alkoxy) PG-Amodimethicone, Stearalkonium Chloride, Fragrance (Parfum), Aminopropyl Dimethicone, Cetrimonium Chloride, Isostearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, DMDM Hydantoin, Dimethiconol, C14-15 Alcohols, Limonene, Disodium EDTA, Citric Acid, Idopropynyl Butylcarbamate, Citronellol, Coumarin, Geraniol, Hexyl Cinnamal, Sodium Chloride, Hydrolyzed Keratin, Panthenol, Cocos Nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Yellow 5 (CI 19140), Propylene Glycol, Red 4 (CI14700), Red 33 (CI 17200), Polyglyceryl-3 Distearate, Blue 1 (CI 42090), Polysorbate 60, Stearic Acid, Palmitic Acid, Myristic Acid, Guar Hydroxypropyltrimonium Chloride, Honey Extract (Mel, Extrait de Miel), Triticum Vulgare (Wheat) Flour Lipids, Persea Gratissima (Avocado) Oil, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, Glycine Soja (Soybean) Sterols, Alpha-Glucan Oligosaccharide, Ceramide 3, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Tocopheryl Acetate.

I loved this conditioner, i thought that it did an excellent job of making my hair smooth and silky. After going through 3 bottles i decided to try other conditioners. Now after trying lots of conditioners, i don't like this one as much because it is expensive for the actual results in comparison to other DS conditoners

Nice stuff. My hair is of moderate thickness, and it doesn't weigh it down or anything. Good amount of moisturization and doesn't leave too much buildup. Pleasant smell. It's a good conditioner.

I used this for the first time today for my fine damaged hair. I liked it as it was light feeling and I didnt need alot, It didnt weigh my hair down, and I like the results I saw today. With continued use I shall see if I will like it. So far its good. Not too sure on the moisturizing yet, my hair does feel better, but it may be from the shampoo more than this conditioner. But it was not too expensive for salon conditioner and I would buy again. Overall a great light conditioner for fine damaged hair.

I have long, fine, blonde hair but lots of it.
I do highlight my hair very minimally every five months or so.
My hair is in good condition but need some moisture and some help to seal the
cuticles as it tends to frizz due to porosity and therefore also tends to tangle easily.
I was looking for a conditioner that helps with moisture and frizz but also provides some body and volume so I decided to try this conditioner.
I do really like this conditioner- it make my hair silky and shiny- loads of slip. I only had to use the tiniest amount to cover all of my hair. It is just not what I am looking for to help with ALL of my particular problems.
My frizz and flyaways are definitely tamed. When I use this conditioner my hair looks very healthy and like cornsilk. My only complaint is that I can not style my hair AT ALL.
I could put a ton of styling product in my hair and it holds no shape. I need to be able to style my long bangs right now as they grow out, and I loaded a whole bottle of my hairspray in my hair and they STILL felt silky.( good -- but bad in my case).
I prefer a conditioner that helps provide a LITTLE bit of structure. It is maybe a bit heavy for my hair for what I want. I need a lighter conditioner with less silicone. WOuld be a great conditioner for someone with heavier or bushier hair that wants to tame it down and wear it straight and nothing else.

I've used this on and off for years and keep coming back to it. It's pricey, so I get it when it's on sale at Costco, in the huge pump bottle. The sale coupons come in the flyer every 6 months or so, and I can get a couple of bottles each time, so I do. I keep it in the shower and every day comb it through my wet hair, then rinse. On high humidity days, I add in more after I lightly towel dry my hair, and then put in the gel or mousse or whatever product I'm hoping will miraculously tame my hair. I have very long, closer to waist than bra, hair, with a mix of loose to tighter curls, and fine hair, but a lot of it. Yeah, I know, sounds like a disaster. It is. I do think my hair is in better shape, when I use this, less frizzy, less crazy, and the curls are more defined. I haven't found THE best product yet, but Humectress at least keeps my hair in decent shape until I do.

This did nothing for my hair...It might have not worked b/c of my specific type of hair, but I didn't like this. This goes for the shampoo as well. I didn't like the smell (but that's a personal opinion), and it felt like my hair had all kinds of product in it after I washed it with this - my hair would be lifeless/flat/weighed down. And it got greasy very fast, since this is supposed to provide intense moisture. I have pretty dry hair, so I was surprised it made my hair feel dirty/not washed. Won't be buying it again!

LOVE LOVE LOVE. smells great, conditions well, leaves my hair feeling silky and smooth. A little bit goes along way. I just like to put on my ends and leave it in for about 5 minutes. Then I wash it out and it feels amazing.

I heard some really good things about Therappe and Humectress so I thought I's give them a try. was completely unsatisfied with them but I wouldn't buy them again. I felt they weighed down my hair to much after I blow dried. Plus, my hair didn't feel that clean either. I made sure I rinsed the products out thoroughly too.

Words cannot fully begin to describe my satisfaction with this product, but they might help. I have very curly, very frizzy, biracial hair, and I am always jumping around from product to product. Trying to find the balance of moisture and smoothing factor can be tough, and have never been fully satisfied--until last Sunday. I had run out of my Garnier Fructis Triple Nutrition shampoo and conditioner and was looking for something new. I was at Target, scoping out the different possibilities, when my mom suggested the products that our friend Christina--also with curly hair--uses. They were Nexxus Therappe Shampoo and Humectress Conditioner. I didn't have very high hopes, I thought it would just be another product that would leave my hair lacking. However, when i got home, showered, and used the products, I was in awe. I went through my usual in-shower regimen of shampooing and combing through my hair with conditioner, but instead of frizzed out, dry hair, i was left with totally moisturized, shiny, bouncy curls. While the shampoo was nice, I definitely think that the conditioner made all the difference. Thank you, Nexxus, you are my hair saviors!
