It comes off really fast, when you first apply it looks nice albeit a bit greasy feeling, but after literally an hour it'll be GONE.

Could be better.. it feels a bit greasy when I put it on now, I've been wearing it for about 6 months. The packaging could be better, sometimes the products seeps out when I don't want it to! Although I do get compliments on how my skin looks tanned when I wear it.
I've now switched to Laura Mercier.

THIS IS A REVIEW FOR THE ORIGINAL SHADE.
I had a few problems with this product. I found it cakey and felt strange on my skin. Also whenever i unscrewed the lid product seemed to be seeping out as if it was being squeezed so i'd always have to use too much product.
Also the colour is horribly horribly dark! I'm close to ivory in skin tone and as this was the only shade at the time i looked ridiculous wearing it.
There is now a light shade, which i havent tried, but as i didnt like the formulation a new colour wouldn't change my mind.
It may moisturise well, but i found it only gave a wash of colour and not coverage which was a shame

When I first started using this product a few months ago I absolutely loved it! The colour was just right and I loved the dewy finish it left on my skin. I also thought the coverage was pretty good for a tinted moisturiser.

Then ..... after continued use I found my skin feeling greasier and greasier and now I am hardly using it because if I do, I seem prone to breakouts.

I'm going to leave using this product during summer months and maybe try again Autumn/Winter time and I'm hoping that maybe in the cooler weather my skin won't feel as greasy!

Not sure I would buy this again :o( x

A decent product, but not worth the £21.50 (they've raised the price up from £19.50 for some reason...ridiculous)

I'm a tan skinned NC37 and this is an alright match for me colour-wise. It is slightly orange, but only orange enough to give me a tan look, not a complete satsuma look. But the more you put on, the more orange you will look. A pea-size is enough for my whole face, it speads like butter. Gives me a dewy, moisturized look upon application and stays that way all day. It can get a little oily, but if I use it ontop of an oil-controlling primer it's fine. If I don't wear this with a primer it oxidises throughout the day and turns radioactive orange, which I don't like. Coverage is minimal, it'll only even out skintone, not cover blemishes.

It doesn't break me out or irritate my skin, but if you are sensitive to chemical sunscreens then stay clear of this. Fair-skinned ladies are more prone to irritation from chemical sunscreens, so keep that in mind aswell. DON'T put it near your eyes! It will burn.

The packaging sucks - it breaks and splits in half really easily so be careful with it. The smell is kind of overwhelming, but fades within an hour or so.

I wouldn't repurchase this, because it really isn't worth the money. I'd pay up to £10, but definately not £21.50

oh my where to start? :/ this product is just terrible. it made me orange, caused acne and dry skin, was soo thick, turned very blotchy, made me feel like i was wearing a mask, enphasized already dry areas and didnt cover spots. will never go near the stuff again not only for what i just said but because of the fact that its SO over priced.

I swear by You Rebel. I don't know what I'll do if they discontinue it! I wear it over my daily moisturizer. I'm not a fan of foundation, and this is the perfect alternative for me.

It suits my skin tone (medium/olive) perfectly, and I love that it still shows my real skin through, just perfected. I use it throughout the year, and it brightens my face nicely through the winter months.

It blends very nicely with my concealers (Benefit Boing, Stila Perfecting Concealer), and does not settle into fine lines or break me out.

The packaging can be a tiny bit annoying once you get to the end of the tube, but there is a lot of product for the price. It's absolutely my HG.

I have mixed feelings about this product. It's basically tinted sunscreen. I liked the color it goes on sheer and evens out your complexion. But...with my oily skin even with primer and powder it wasn't enough coverage..too bad because the product smelled great, the tube is huge, and it had a nice consistency. I took pictures that day and my skin looked pretty good but I'm just so used to more coverage and it is a little pricey. I was thinking of mixing it with my heavier foundations to see what happens. If it were a little more coverage this product would be gold.

I like this product because it looks more natural than foundation. I squirt a quarter size in my hand and apply all over my face and blend into neck. Then I set it with powder around my t-zone. I have oily skin and this doesn't agitate it. it gives my skin a golden glowy look I haven't been able to get with other foundations!

Not awful, but waaaay too oily! I'd probably only use it now if I had a natural tan and use a tiny dab of it. Wouldn't buy again but I'll finish the tube.

Packaging a bit gross as well - not a firm tube and the 'label' is peeling. Kind of gross..

I do like this product, and would still be using it now if I could! I've been using it for a couple of years...on and off. Although it does make my face look very shiny upon application, I find it looks GREAT with a bit of loose powder over the top and some bronzer on the cheeks. I used to use it everyday because I have pretty good skin and don't like using thick foundation when all I really need is something like to even my skintone.

However; after a couple of months of happily getting on with this product I started getting very dry, flaky patched around my eyes which burned upon application. I didn't know what was causing it and stopped wearing any makeup on my face for a month or so, and after a few trips to the doctors I found that steroid cream was the only thing that would calm it down (which ain't so great seeing as steroids aren't meant to be used on the face, ESPECIALLY not the eye area and cause the skin to thin). Once my skin had gotten better I switched to a cheapy powder minderal foundation by loreal which was good for a while, but I started to miss the lovely glow You Rebel gave me. I didn't realise at the time that it was the makeup that had originally irritated my skin...so I, regetably, started using it again. And for another couple of months it looked great, but then it started going downhill again. The irritation started up again and I did the whollleee cycle again.

After not wearing makeup for nearly two months I have now converted to I.D Minerals powder foundation, which I LOVE. The sore patches around my eyes still haven't cleared up completely, but I stopped using the steroid cream after 7 days, as advised on the packet. I realise now that it was the spf in You Rebel that irritated my skin, but I didn't think at the time because my friend used it and had no problems at all.
It was quite strange because this product only ever irritated my skin during the winter months, it was fine during the summer...but when it started getting real cold that's when the problems started.

As I said before it is a great, natural looking product when used under translucent loose powder and it really did give me a lovely healthy glow, I always looked like a had a tan in pictures! If it doesn't irritate your skin then I'd say go for it.

Ugly wet look!! Makes me look oily and slick! Yuck! Tried setting powder, and it sunk into each and every nook and cranny. Will not buy again!

I bought this a while ago but didn't really use it a lot, so I ended up tossing it. I did kinda like the texture- it was like a thick cream that spread nicely, but realistically that just made me hesitant to use it. Seriously- if you're acne-prone and oily, the last thing yo want on your face is something thick. It was a little too orange and unnatural looking, and in the summer heat it will just slide right off. I guess I could've used setting powders and primers but I didn't use those at the time. Wouldn't really matter though- the one shade doesn't work. I really like the packaging- a metallic squeeze tube, but unfortunately that was the best thing about it. I never tried You Rebel Lite, perhaps that is better, but I don't even want to bother at this point!

This is way too dark and orangey for me normally but in summer when I get a good fake tan I can use this, my skin never seems greasy and hasn't broken out but the smell is awful. I only use it when I'm going to be in water or when I'm doing my full face I layer it under Halo Hydrating powder and I get a pretty good finish.

I thought this was going to be amazing- I couldn't wait to get it on my face. I was so excited. I couldn't believe how bad this tinted moisturiser was. I will say this is the worst cosmetic product I have ever bought. Its not like I can use it and just make do. This product makes my face so oily, it is patchy, it doesnt last long and the absolute worst thing ever happens everytime I use it- I BREAK OUT IN A TONNE OF SPOTS. The spots then take ages to go! I only use it again to see if the reason its so poor is because of the way I've applied it. Not so. Hate this hate this hate this!! I'm giving it 1 because I have to, else it would be 0.

I bought this with really high expectation as I've always been a huge fan of BeneFit, but it let me down terribly. It was awfully greasy despite the fact that I have dry combination skin, and it looked as if I had just soaked my face in oil. And the worst thing is that it my face sting upon application, and I found the smell really overpowering and vile. Plus while the packaging may be cute, I hate how the product is so dilute and liquid-like that it comes out itself after a couple of minutes when the cap is off. The only positive thing I have to say about this product is that it matches my skintone well, but other than that it was a complete waste of my money.

EDIT: I've started to use this again because it's been too painful watching my money waste way as this product continued sitting on my dresser untouched. I must say it is still rather greasy looking and sheer (well at least compared to other tinted moisturizers I've tried), but I've found that using a loose mineral powder over it helps a great deal. The smell is still rancid but slightly tolerable now, so I'm going to try and finish up the entire tube. All in all, this product isn't half as bad as I inititally thought it was and it just takes time getting adjusted to; so I think I'll up it to 3 lippies from my initial rating of 1 lippie. That's not to say I'll ever buy this product again though, not in this lifetime at least haha.

I used this product throughout high school (so long ago now) and i'm not really sure why? The formula is kind of greasy (some would say 'light') and the color was even to dark/orange for my fairly tan asian skin. The worst thing about it was that it made me breakout terribly. Benefit is pretty expensive so i can't believe i spent that much on this crappy product. The tube it comes in is also kind of weird because it got messed up easily in my makeup bag. I know some really like this product and i'm glad that it does work on some people... it just didn't work for me.

I know a lot of people like this but I found it terrible. It is a very greasy formula so if you don't have very dry skin it is pretty rubbish. I found that it wore off within hours and made my skin realy, realy greasy and shiny. It is realy hard to apply aswell as it is quite wishy washy. I still use it if I'm just running to the shops quickly (I hate to waste products) but not suitable for long wear. I also know a few people have reacted to this product.
