This is a very pretty pink, ... its not light, or very shimmery but when you apply it there's sparkles everywhere on your eyes.
I got this for a natural, girlie look and I'm 100% satisfied. When applied at the crease or at the end of your eye, it's great for the everyday natural girlie look - leaves a hint of pink behind with some glitter bits(but not like shimmer or crazy party glitz)
However, I understand why some people are disappointed by this shade because it is not good for blending with other shadows.
But if you are into the "natural, innocent girlie look" like I'm lately into(tee hee) I recommend this pretty pink color ! Just don't apply it all over your lid !

I like this color. It goes on well and blends nicely. I used it on my lid with NYX's 'Lanikai' on the crease. Turned out to be a very pretty pink for the job. It's definitely not my favorite, but I do like it a lot.

Edit: I just got Canton Candy paint to use as a base for this. It makes the color much brighter and I now love it even more. :)

mehh. it is just ok, the color pay off isn't good and for some reason the shimmer in it is weird ( to me at least) but I'm not quite sure why.i was hoping for a cute bubble gum pink color pay off but didn't get it.I love MAC shadows but this one isn't what I expected from MAC. I am bummed on it!

This is my overall favorite eye shadow! You can layer it and it stays on all day! Just thr right amount of shimmer too!

I bought this color when I first bought Lust and I decided I needed something with a little more pink in it. It's a good all over light pink color but it's not fantasical.

I love this eyeshadow! It is a little expensive, $14. But for the money, it is so worth it! The color stays on all day, even without a base. It is a medium pink with a little shimmer. I will definatley buy this eyeshadow again! Compared to Ulta eyeshadows, the MAC colors a so much more pigmented. Before you buy a color though, I would ask someone to test it out on you. :]

I have this product and I have to say it is one of the few the MAC got wrong. The color is hard to blend and does not come well out of the pot. I would definately NOT recommend anyone buying this shadow.

pale pink color. makes my eyes look tired/irritated when i put it on. not much of a color pay out and has a lot of shimmer.

Pink Venus on me is a sparkly bright pink, but the texture of this e/s is horrible. I have lots of Lustre e/s, but I have to say this one has the worse texture of all MAC e/s. Pink Venus is impossible for me to use, I have tried to use it wet, dry, with Mixing Medium, water, eye drops and NaDa. I cannot get this e/s to look decent at all so in the trash it goes. Oh, but lemme say that I did finally get it to apply on my lid and it made me look like I had pink eye....not a good look for me. Oh well...I'm a GGG btw.

A few months ago I decided to experiment a bit, and for some reason thought that a pink eyeshadow would be a good idea. The lesson I learned - pink eyeshadows don't suit me. Well, perhaps they do, but I certainly not this shade. It makes me look sickly, which is NOT what I want in an eyeshadow.
The colour itself is very pretty, and the eyeshadow stays on for a long time. However, excessive glitter which spreads onto places outside the eyelid area, which I don't appreciate much. So what I'll be doing is passing this on to one of my friends, a brunette most likely, since it seems this colour would work better on darker-haired ladies.

UPDATE: I first bought this eyeshadow when I was blonde. Recently I decided a radical change was in order and dyed my hair brunette. I'm pretty sure that I still have this eyeshadow lying around somewhere, so will be able to experiment with it and see if it looks better with my new dark hair.

It was a toss up between this, da bling and swish as I was looking for a pretty versatile pink. For some reason I chose this and regret it. It looked so pretty swatched on my hand, like really pretty, but at home there was no colour with just GLITTER everywhere. No wonder, its a LUSTRE! The worst formula for an e/s...avoid lustre and this e/s at all costs! Gonna exchange this for swish instead which has better reviews.

I was looking for a pretty barbie-like pink for my eyes and I bought this one. I wasn't too impressed with it after put on my eye lids. I wore this a handful of times, and it really didn't do too much. If I lost it, I wouldn't buy it again. Maybe I just need to figure out what color/s to pair it with.. maybe a different, softer pink.. and purple? If you know a good combo, i'd love to hear it!

My sister got this e/s for me for christmas a couple years ago and I was excited because I had always wanted a mac eyeshadow. Unfortunately, the color didn't look so great on me .. it kind of made me look sick and to me its more of this like reddish pink. It's pretty to look at but it just doesnt look good on my eyelids.

It's very pretty in the pot it comes in but once I tried it on my skin it was a pale fuschia like color with no glitz that i was hoping for.

Love this color in the pot, but swapped it anyway. Unlike aquadisiac (also a Lustre, watch out for these, ladies!) this shadow's texture is blech!! Very powdery and not deep with color, and too much glitter fallout!!

Pink Venus is a really pretty medium pink with lots of glitter and shimmer.
*It does need to be paired with the right colour though, and the pigment is a lot more noticeable if you apply it wet.

One of the highest glitter compact eyeshadows I have! I love the sparkle and the girly pink. Best used as a hi-liter for darker pinkish shades. My one pro on this shadow is that when I wore it to work one day, a male co-worker asked if I had been crying (i had applied it all over my lids) and when I checked the mirror I'd seen the oil from my lids had faded the shadow and left red residue on the corners. I highly recommend using this with Urban Decay's eye primer. I really love this color and would buy again but would only wear it with a primer no exception!
