This is my first eyeshadow purchase, and I like it :)
I have no idea how to use primers or know of any techniques required to put it on, but I like the creamy consistency and especially the colors. They're gorgeous! All of these are skin toned colors, obviously from the name: the first is a pinky brown, the second has golden flecks and is more of a darker color, the third is ivory, and last but not least the fourth is chocolate brown. I actually like using all of the colors, the chocolate and golden flecks being my favorite. I use the ivory in the inner corners of my eyes to brighten it a bit, but take note that you should apply lightly.
My only complaints are that the colors definately fade over time. At the end of my school day it barely looks like I have any left, save for a very light chocolate color. The ivory white is nowhere to be seen, leaving only a trail of shimmery sparkles near my eye.
For my it didn't crease. I liked the fact that it actually made me look like I had a lid (one of my eyes is monolid, while the other has a really nice one.)
Overall it was a good eyeshadow for my first. What made it better is that it was a BOGO so this essentially was free since I originally only wanted to get mascara!

UPDATE: After trying others, I have to come back and give this a 5--instead of a 4.
My first go at cream eye shadows since I left them in my teens because my lids were too oily. My eyes are hooded and with age, getting a bit too loose for powders. I've always loved the smokey look, but more and more I think it just to dark and tired looking for me now.
Since this is a new experimental phase for me, I decided to try lower end shadows first.
I like this enough to go back and get a second one at half off and have been using them everyday for 2 weeks.
Yes, you have to wipe off your fingers after applying. Doesn't phase me. And, I actually like that they are not highly pigmented. More pigment would scream shiny too much for me. They are shiny enough! I will also say that all of the colors are true to what they look like in the container, except the lightest. It looks white on me...not cream.
They blend beautifully and brighten up my eyes. No creasing. This palate gives a nice tan-summer-healthy look to my face. I finish off with a new love--Laura Mercier's kohl in Brown Cooper, which pairs up with these shadows perfect!

I really like this product. It gives a nice natural look and the four colours are good for my fair skin, but dark eyes and hair. I really like how blendable it is, so it goes on very easy, great for me because I don't have too much experience with cream eye shadows. :) I like it so much I want to get a couple more of the different colours!

i buy this over and over.
the brown (a med-light cool brown that can be a little metallic, which is a plus) shade in this looks awesome with my green eyes.
throw in a gray liquid eyeliner and everyone compliments me..
the other shades i used to not care about but the vanilla shade is awesome as a highlighter on my face (and it stays!)
if you put too much it can get creasy or oily. lasting power is not bad at all unless i have a really oily day. i use it on non makeup days just to add a little soft definition to my eyes.
i have been buying this for years. love it

I tried this product years ago, and just bought the "new, improved" version a week ago. Is it possible that this formulation of cream eyeshadow lasts even less time than the unimproved formula? Because I swiped on three of the "Seashells" colors (three rather than my usual two because the first color was invisible on me), then I applied a lip gloss, got up to look at myself in the bathroom mirror and TA-DA! CREASES. This wasn't even a few minutes into wearing it!
I am very disappointed in this product. Revlon is getting an irritated letter from me!

No, no, no, no, no...NO! This is absolutely the WORST of cream shadows, EVER! It goes on sticky, makes your fingers sticky, doesn't last on your lids and never comes off your fingertips!!! I will NEVER repurchase. Just horrible.

i know that most of the revlon illuminance cream shadows get HORRIBLE reviews because they crease like CRAZY, but skinlights is actually pretty decent. from left to right, we have a flesh-toned peachy shade that looks like it has shimmer but when applied it looks more matte. this shade looks HORRIBLE on me so i avoid it. the next shade is a peachy-bronze/orange color that reminds me of fire haha. it's nice and shimmery and it's my favorite shade in the quad. next is a pale icy yellow/gold shade with shimmer...and then finally we have an earth brown shade with shimmer. the trick with using these shadows is that you need to use a good base, then apply a THIN layer of the product on the lid using your fingers. if you apply a thick layer, than of course it's going to crease. i also like cream shadows when it's cooler outside because in the summer it gets too hot and humid and makeup creases like crazy - even powder shadows!!!

despite all of the bad reviews for most of the revlon illuminance cream shadow quads, i actually like this one. the one on the far left is a flesh-toned peachy shade that has some shimmer in the pot but when applied it looks matte; the next one is a bronzy-peach-orange color that kinda reminds me of fire lol (and it's shimmery); the next one is a shimmery pale icy yellow-gold; the last one is a shimmery brown. i really like the middle two shades a lot and the shimmery brown is nice, too - i don't really care for the matte peach. the trick with these creams is to first apply a base then apply a THIN LAYER to the eyes. if you apply too much, of course it's going to crease. you just need to experiment a little. and i don't like using cream shadows in the summer time because sometimes it's too hot and it just melts right off your eyes - but when it gets cooler, they're nice to have IMO.

The colors in this palette include: a matte med. peach, a shimmery golden rose, a shimmery ivory, and a shimmery milk chocolate color. The colors are all very pretty, but my fav. are the chocolate and ivory shades. I think these colors would suit warm complexions well. They are very creamy, not at all dry, and easily glide across the lids. The shadows do tend to crease a bit, but with a good primer, this shouldn't be a problem. Just apply the desired shade(s) with your fingertips and glide it across your lids.

this was my first revlon illuminance quad, and boy am i glad i bought it! (i hope to buy more in the future!) skinlights has really good natural shades that, as the previous reviewer said, do not scream "makeup!" i use the pinky tan shade on the left as a base and the icy white as a highlighter for the brow bone. the mocha (which shows up as a really rich gold) and pinky gold i use on my lids. i like to mix the colors in this, and that is possible because they are sheer. i really like the creamy consistency of these shadows which also help the makeup look more natural. my favorite shade in this quad is the mocha, which, since it is sheer, looks like a really pretty gold on the lid. my second favorite is the bright pinky gold.

I love these cream eyeshadows. They are easy to use and look natural and glowy and don't scream "MAKEUP." Skinlights is my favorite quad so far and the reason is because it contains the most beautiful peachy-rose-gold shade that looks so pretty and summery on my hazel-green eyes. I actually like to blend these a little and costumize my perfect shade, so you can have a multitude of shades and looks in one teeny palette. I don't have a huge problem with creasing; I prime lids with powder and tap a little on lids avoiding the crease.

I just love this product. The colours are a peach, a rose gold, a champagne and a mocha. Now the mocha does not go on as dark as it looks. When applied its the perfect gold. The peach is a bit lighter than expected. But the true gems are the rose gold and champagne. The colours make my red-brown eyes pop. Now the texture of my quad isnt greasy at all. Actually it's kind of pasty, but the shadows still go on smoothly. I guess I got great eyelids because this shadow did not crease. I did not use any primer or base of any sort. Straight to the lid. I've had it on for over 8 hours now, and its now beginning to fade. Trust me on this one, the colours on the Revlon site do not look like anything in the quad, so do not go by anything that's online unless its a picture. The price was a bit steep in my country at $16.50, but I love it and I definately would repurchase and try some others since this quad is my first.

This color palette is awesome for blue-gray eyes. Just as was said, I love the dark coral-copper shade. I also love that it's comparitively cheap. But, the shades could be a little more intense- the normal peach is a bit dull, and the tan-ish brown goes on kinda light as well.

i love the colors. i like how they are perfect bronzy layers for summer. but i hate how in the humid weather, it totally creases. it helps when i use a powder ontop, but then it defeats the purpose of the shimmery cream colors. it's just a matte powder now. oh wellz. i'll still use it and either just do touch ups until i use up the palette. (i have two, and when i use up one tin, i just pop another color in it, palettes are perfect for travel!)

*sigh* When will I ever learn to NOT buy cream shadows? I just can't help myself. The colors always look so pretty and shimmery and vibrant. Especially Skinlights. LOVE these colors! Especially the dark peachy/coppery shade. GORGEOUS! But good grief, this stuff practically goes straight to the crease upon application! Same ol' story for me. I'll use these up just because I love the colors, but won't repurchase.

I almost love this eyeshadow but it lacks a little in pigment intensity. It is easy to apply-I tap it onto my lids and it blends beautifully-doesnt crease that I notice. Doesnt compare to Mac paints but comes in a close 2nd and especially considering the price. I will buy the other color collections.

I really like using this when I want a natural look that is very quick! My usual HG favorite eyeshadow is Physician's Formula Matte Quad in Canyon Classics, but since it is a powder, it takes a while to apply. I love that you just apply this with your finger. Takes me less than a minute! The one thing I don't like about this eyeshadow, it doesn't have any kind of staying power. You can't use a base for more staying power because the eyeshadow itself is kinda oily and just takes off the base. That's why I give it a 3!

Impulse buy, but I really like this product. When I first opened the package I looked for an applicator, but there wasn't one. Although on the back it states to apply with your finger, I really wanted a "brush" to use, however the colors did go on fine with my finger.
I love the colors, I love the way they look on and even though I was apprehensive about trying the dark peachy color, it looks great! I can't wait to try the other palettes!

I really wanted to like these, I really really did. The colours are wonderful, for the most part so is the application but the wear is nearly the worst I have ever seen! It creases within a half hour after applying and even when set with powder it creases after an hour, and I'm not an oily lidded person. Plus these don't even come with there own applicator and they are too hard to apply with anything other than a lip brush or a sponge applicator and your finger seems to just muck them up. The colours in this quad are an icky orange sheer shade I rather dislike, a pink/red colour I can't seem to wear, a very nice 'moonlight' shimmery beige that I would love to wear and a horrible dark mocha that won't wear right at all.

"Skinlight" quad has great colors for blue eyes (except the white color, which just must be too advanced for me to know how to use.)
I don't like the shimmer. It's subtle, though for sparkles.
And, worst of all, it stings when I put it on. It goes away, so I'll live with it.
