Great soft, silvery-taupe colour and a superb finish once on. It is slightly shimmery in the pan and soft on the eyelid. Just a hint of shimmer shines on the eyelid--no sparkles and gaudy look. It lasts for ages on my eyelids which tend toward being a bit oily, but a base takes care of any traveling. I love it on my dark blue eyes, and wear a black liner with it, and vanilla on the bone. It is soft, natural and just enough to accent my eyes without looking overly made up for daytime, and you can dress it up at night to make a smokey eye with darker eyliner all the way around and the soft shimmer in the middle.
This one is a keeper; if I use it all up (there is a generous supply in the pan), I will definitely repurchase.

Medium, soft shimmery brown-grey/taupe eye-shadow that could work for many skintones. A staple in my collection. I don't have problems with creasing, probably because I use a shadow base. This color is simply pretty, versatile for day and night and great for layering with a a variety of eyeshadows. Works well over or under browns, tawny or plum colors. Looks particulary stunning paired with Color Surge Almost Peach (another versatile staple) on the browbone.

My favourite taupe. History: Chanel Sphinx, YSL Variations Couleurs palette (there was a taupe there), Dior Brun Casual quint, Clinique Double Date, Revlon Pink Tulle, Annabelle Haute chocolate trio...here it is. Without a doubt a taupe that looks gorgeous against my skin, my eyes, does not make my undereyes more noticeable. Natural yet sophisticated for daytime. Perfect staying powder and a perfect amount of shimmer. Unlike the most of the taupes including Chanel, shimmer never dies. The color stays true all day. I have 3 of these GWPs. I think thats enough for a lifetime. My search of a perfect taupe has ended. I am a cool/neutral PPP-LLL with blue-green eyes, dark hair.

I love this eyeshadow from Clinique. Its the perfect light brown-grey colour, and you can pair it with almost anything. It lasts all day, and comes in a sleek-silver compact.

I LOVE this eyeshadow. It's my basic, everyday eyeshadow and I've been wearing it for years. It's a light shimmery brown, easy to apply, and looks great day and night.

Someone included this as an extra in a swap and it is my new HG eyeshadow. It is a beautiful shade of medium brown with a bit of shimmer (though not too much). I wear it nearly every day as my crease shadow. It looks great when paired with most colors (pinks, purples, blues, greens) and can tone down and neutralize intense colors. Stays on all day over my Benefit f.y.eye. I'll be stocking up on this one if they discontinue it!

Very gorgeous shimmery shade...not at all what I was expecting. I have several small compacts of these from bonus days. Love freebies! I also found a Jane eye shadow (down to earth, I think) that looks very similar. I am pretty sure you can find something similar to this but cheaper like I did.

Like the rest of the world, I got this as a gwp. I wasn't that impressed with it in the palette, "Oh Good, another brown eyeshadow," but after playing with it, I LOVE it. It filled a need I didn't know I had! On me it's a medium khaki color that works well for subtle shading in the crease when applied with a wide shadow brush. It also makes for a gorgeous smoky look that really brings out my green eyes, and I LOVE it as a liner when applied wet. I tend to gravitate toward matte shades but this has a light-reflecting quality that's just stunning--not too over the top for daytime wear either. I also like this applied dry for a smudgy line under my eye with a darker liner on top. So versatile!

Foxy is a medium, shimmery taupe (brown/grey) with a soft silver highlight. I wear it layered over a shimmery champagne color, like Laura Mercier Star Fruit, and Foxy works perfectly for the crease and outer wedge, as well as a soft liner on the lower lash line. Paired with a black or charcoal liner for the upper lash line, this combo is a great, neutral everyday look. Works very well with rose or plum blushs and lip colors.

Perfectly natural shade for me. I cant really create something called smokey eye wih this shade even though I am quite a pale but this shade is very easy to wear everyday greyish brown shade with shimmer. I looks much more shimmery in the pan than what it looks om my skin. I have never had a problem with staying power and I find all Clinique eye shadows silky and smooth. UPDATE:
Id like to compair the darker shade of Double Date duo and this one. It is interesting that Foxy shows up browner than Double date on me, because Foxy looks more greyed on the pan thank Double Date.

like just about everyone else here, i got this as a GWP. it's a great neutral colour, for those mascara and light lipgloss days; it's a little something extra to emphasise your eyes (i’m dk brunette with dk brown eyes and pale olive skin). it's also a really nice option for officewear, looking polished and subtle. i put a light layer of mine over MAC's cork this morning and it looks nice. the staying quality is good, too; makes me want to investigate other clinique shadows. just the right adult-amount of shimmer. i'd buy this again, only the sample size was so generous i might not need to!

I love this eye shadow! I originally got it in a GWP, but then bought a full size product that I've had forever. It stays on and doesn't crease. I like to use this color at night b/c it's more dramatic. It goes great with blue eyes.

I got this brown e/s as a GWP and looooove it!. I have an olive skin and find it really subtle-yet-sophisticated, suitable to wear for work (I'm afraid fairer coloured skins can find it a little too smudgy...)

In the package it looks dark brown with a silverish shimmer, but it actually looks matte on your eyelids and not too dark. Great staying power.

There is no reason why I'd not buy again when I run out of this (that won't probably take place in months as Clinique's GWP e/s are huge in my opinion).

I got this in a GWP and didn't try it for months and months, thinking it looked just like dozens of other neutrals I own. I'm so glad I finally tried it though, because it looks really great. I have medium olive toned skin and dark brown eyes, and this color can be used for a natural look or a more smokey dramatic look if I use liner and stuff. Wears well, too. Will definitely repurchase when the GWP size runs out.

I love this colour, it really makes my blue green eyes stand out! I got this as a bonus from Clinique and it is so pretty. It is a brown/tawny colour with a hint of shimmer and it has good staying power, although it creases over a couple of hours. The colour makes up for that because i like this so much!

This is one of my favorite neutrals. I usually dislike Clinique products as a whole, but this is really pretty. It's a basic brown with bronze shimmer added to it. I like using it in my creases when I want a more defined eye look. Nice texture, and the GWP size has lasted me for ages, since I only use a bit at a time.

This is the perfect every day eyeshadow on my olive toned, brown eyed complexion. I absolutely love it. It looks very natural yet really accents my eyes. I will re-purchase this when it runs out!

In the package, this looks shimmery, but takes on a sort of matte effect once it is applied. I love taupes and this seems to be nice, layered over my HG L"Oreal Crystal Bronze eyeshadow. I don't know that I would go out and buy this, but it is a nice gift with purchase item to have!

I got this as a GWP (good ol' bonus week!), and while it is a very pretty shimmery brown in the palette, when I put it on it just looked dirty on me. Didn't agree with my coloring. It's a shame, because it looks so nice in the package. Oh, well...it went to my mom, who loves it.

I really like Clinique's High Impact Eyeshadows, creaseless and 'show'. Foxy is a chocolatey/bronzey shade, which I don't really like. Good for smokey eyes, but if you apply it alone, and if you have darkcircles, your eyes will looked like panda eyes, a little too dark for my liking. I'll repurchase HIgh Impact eyeshadows but not in this shade again.
