I love this cleanser. I use it each morning in the shower. It foams nicely, is gentle enough for my sensitive skin yet removes my makeup thoroughly. The only complaint I have is the lack of availability. To date, I've only found it at drugstore.com, and I'd rather be able to buy this at a store near me than have to order it. It's worth it though. Definitely a keeper. Too bad it's been discontinued and I can't find it anywhere anymore. Oh, well.

Decided to try because of all the good reviews. It's not foaming. I have have to use alot in order to get some foaming/enough to clean my face. My face didn't feel clean for very long afterwards. It didn't help my acne.

This is HANDS DOWN the BEST cleanser I have ever used. My skin is oily/combo, dehydrated most of the time. This cleanser is so gentle yet very effective. It cleanses very well but does NOT strip the skin. I am on my second bottle and can not say enough good things about this. It is gentle enough to be used with Retin-A,even! I compared the ingredients with the Sage list and there are no major offenders in this!

This cleanser is so simple that it doesn't irritate my sensitive skin.....it's wonderful! Doesn't strip the skin, but it's good to use the toner a couple times a week to really get every last bit of stuff off your face. Overall, it's great and fragrance free!

This cleanser is amazing, it removes dirt and oil as well as light makeup. I just finished my first bottle and will go grab another one.

This is a nice cleanser, but it was just not compatible with my skin. It is very gentle, one of the least-drying gel cleansers I have tried, so it would be great for someone with oilier skin than I have. My skin is on the dry side, so it was a bit stripping for me. Still, it removes makeup effectively. If you have oily skin, this is worth looking into.

I am 30 yrs old, and I have to say that my results from this product for over a month now have been nothing but positive. I have tried Cetaphyl in the past, but I didn't like it because I never felt like it really cleaned my skin by removing all of my makeup, because it didn't have the foaming action. It just felt like it left a film over my skin when I was done washing. A sample of Eucerin products such as the cleanser, toner and moisturizer were given to me by my dermatologist and I have never been happier. My skin feels very clean (not dry) and when I put on the moisturizer, my skin feels incredibly soft. I went out and bought the moisturizer with SPF and it works just as well as the one without it. I am recommending this product to everyone I know. My search is over. I will stick with this forever.

I'm currently on my 2nd bottle and I love it but have to admit that I don't use it for my face. I use it as a body wash because I get body break outs and this has really has kept it under control. It leaves my skin smooth and noticed my skin looking much better. I don't mind the bottle since I used it as body wash and I'm definetly going to buy it again and again then will try their lotion soon.

Holy Grail Alert! I can't live without this. I have combination/sensitive skin. On a derm's rec I was using Cetaphil Oily Skin cleanser with awful results. It really irritated and dryed out my skin. I bought this after seeing it on the beauty buys list in InStyle and haven't looked back. I have actually been able to lay off topical treatments (Retin-A Micro and Clindamycin) because Eucerin keeps my skin so calm and clear. I'm on my 3rd bottle, and I don't know what I'll do if they ever d/c this. Updated 9/19: Still adore this cleanser, but have been having a very had time finding in my area. I hope they are not planning on discontinuing it.

I don't remember who suggested this to me, but boy am I glad they did. I am working on my 2nd bottle and even strayed away from it after a friend suggested Cetaphyl - GROSS!
Eucerin's water-gel consistency can be worked into a lather with your hands and a tiny bit of water, and I'm happy to report it takes off my makeup better than any grocery store brand!!

I have a very oily t-zone and this cleanser is able to control it without making my cheeks overly dry, which I have a problem with Neutrogena's glycerine facial soap and Clinique foaming face cleanser doing.

Finally, as another MUAer says, I would like for Eucerin to come up with packaging that is as great as the product inside, but thinking about it, that may raise the price. This is a steal at $9 at my local Albertson's.

I tried using this face wash last year thinking it would actually help my skin since eucerin is a derm recommended brand. I would NEVER EVER use it again, however, b/c it dried out my face SOOOOOOO badly and made my skin very red and irritated. Cannot imagine any derm recommending this product to anyone!

When I first started using this cleanser, I really liked it because it seemed like it was taking off all of my makeup (including eye makeup). Unfortunately, after a few days of using it I had the worst breakout ever (I'm talking cystic acne), and it was the only thing I had changed. Decided to give it another chance and the same thing happened. Then I realized it contains Sodium Laureth Sulfate, which can really aggravate acne-prone skin. I don't know why I ever strayed from my Purpose wash.

I have been using this product for nearly 2 years, and it's great. I have EXTREMELY sensitive skin, which is very allergy prone. This cleanser does not irritate it at all, and cleanses well. It is somewhat drying to my already very dry skin, but I just follow up with prescription moisturizer and it's all good. It was actually my dermatologist who recommended this to me. I don't have acne, but it's still the only facewash I have ever had success with as far as not being drying goes.

This was rather drying on my very sensitive dry rosacea skin. It didn't irritate per se but I'm not sure about the combination of rosacea and SLS, which this cleanser contains. Most rosacea experts advise against cleansers w/ SLS so I don't think I would want to use this for any length of time in light of my most sensitive skin. However if your skin is sturdier this cleanser might be a winner. It's certainly cheap enough, and I loved the mild foaming action. No fragrance, so in many regards it is a great cleanser; it's just not the best for my skin.

I love this wash!!! It is my HG and I never thought it would be b/c it has no active ingredient like BP or BHA or AHA. I have to say that all this time I thought it was my cleanser w/ BP that was keeping my face clear but when I tried this cleanser I realized that what I thought wasn't true at all. It was actually my topical that was keeping my face clear. This cleanser takes off all my makeup in one wash!!! I love it and its soo simple and gentle.

This is my favorite cleanser. Since I have been using this my skin has cleared up a lot. It is non drying and still takes up all makeup, except for mascara, but thats fine. It makes me feel clean and fresh, never stripped. The only wierd thing is the watery consitency, runs down my arms when I wash my face. But I love that it is unscented.
