So I have a few tubs of this stuff thanks to my hoarding mother (bless her!). I tend to be prone to really dry and flaky skin around my mouth and my cheeks so I am always obsessively moisturizing those areas after I wash my face or a shower. This product is excellent for such purpose. It is a rather “light” cream – no oily residue upon application. It’s a little sticky, but soon evaporates or absorbs away within a few minutes. Nonetheless, if you’re planning on layering blush or some other face product on top of the moisturized area, it wouldn’t hurt to brush on some translucent powder as color clumping can occur.
As for the moisturizer’s properties – it of medium consistency. Not very running, but not very gloppy. It’s really great and a cinch to smear on before bedtime or before your daily make-up routine. As far as I can tell, it has no real discernible scent and it’s not irritating at all.
My mom used to stock me up with loads and loads of L’oreal face creams (I have no idea where she gets all this stuff? She is a bit of a rebate/coupon queen!). I actually prefer this facial moisturizer to all others. It’s perfect for my dry spots and doesn’t break me out. Now I’m not too sure I’ll ever repurchase this myself as my mom has a whole arsenal waiting for me in her bathroom closet (hah!). But I am definitely a fan.

I love this! My skin is terribly sensitive and acne prone. I needed a night cream because my skin is dry, and the day moisturizers just werent enough. I love this, it moisturizes, it isnt heavy. It glides on so smooth and best part.. it doesnt aggrivate my skin or break me out! Love it!

It's not great but it's not the worst. The only word that really comes to mind is "eh." I'll use it in the future is I have absolutely nothing else around but I definitely won't buy again. I normally have oily skin but have begun getting dry patches around my nose and mouth. I use a daytime moisturizer with SPF and needed something different for night. I figured since I'm normally oily a "light night cream" would be exactly what I needed. Wrong. It doesn't really feel creamy. It doesn't have any kind of thick consistency so it sort of just sits on top of your skin and slides around. I didn't research before buying, I just saw it int he store for cheap and grabbed it. Next time I'll do my research. Save your money, folks!

I purchased this because I have oily combo skin that in the winter gets really dry around my nose and lips. I used this to spot treat these areas, this is ok. I should of just purchased a tub a cetaphil cream, cheaper and a little better IMHO.

This product was a nightmare! I bought it because I was looking for a night cream that wouldn't clog my pores or feel heavy on my face. Unfortunately, this failed on both accounts. The tub that it comes in is not sanitary at all because you have to dip your fingertips into it every night. It felt heavy and disgusting on my face and the worst part is that I broke out TERRIBLY from this stuff. So much for it not clogging pores! Ladies beware - save your money! I'm a big fan of Neutrogena products, but this is one that I hope gets discontinued!

I would buy this product again only because it does make my skin feel smooth and soft, but as far as the price goes it's expensive. I dont like the packaging, I wish it was a pump instead of a tube.
During winter time, it's not moisturizing enough. I have combination skin, so it gets dry around my cheeks area. I had to mix this with another moisturizer to get full moisture.

Great night moisturizer - hasn't made me breakout and has kept my skin from drying out overnight.

I quite love this product. It's much cheaper than the SK II stuff I've been using, and does the job pretty well. The tip of my nose tends to dry out quickly (considering I live in a really humid country) and I feel like I always need to dab on some extra cream. But other than that, I love it! I haven't broken out yet and doesn't leave any greasy residue. I think it absorbs into the skin well and keeps (most) of it moisturized. Easy on the pocket too.

They should call this heavy night cream. It is night light whatsoever. Whenever I put this on, I wait until I am right about to go to sleep. Otherwise, I would be tempted to wash my face right after. It feels very heavy for me anyways. But in the morning, my skin does feel very soft and there are no dry spots.

This is a wonderful night cream for people with sensitive and combination skin. It is fragrance-free and the oil is sesame oil, which is not suppose to clog pores. I used it all winter at night and it hydrated my skin without causing any breakouts or greasiness in the morning. It absorbed easily into my skin and a little goes a long way. It is not a complicated moisturizer meant to fight the signs of aging but then good hydration and sunscreen are the best defense against aging in my opinion.

Wow. It sucks to get older. When I was in my 20's, this stuff was the bomb. Overnight, it would work wonders and make my skin look and feel better. Now I'm 40, and I thought I would save some $$ and get this instead of my $50/ 2 oz. night cream. Oh well, I will use it for body cream.

I bought this while holidaying overseas in Hong Kong, and at the time, had ran out of my usual moisturiser. As it is almost impossible to find my moisturiser there, I had to dash to the local pharmacy to find a replacement. I picked this up, because I was looking for a night cream. And I also trusted the Neutrogena brand, so I thought why not give it a go.

After using up the entire jar, i'm happy to say that I have had no problems with it. The moisturiser is light, has a very velvety feel during application, and does not give me a reaction. I would definitely consider purchasing this again had I not have a couple of my normal moisturisers in stock.

I needed a better night moisturizer for the winter. This product is definitely not for combo or oily skin. It takes a very long time for it sink into the skin. In fact, after an hour there's still a greasy 'film' or something on my face. When I wake up the next morning, my skin does feel nice and soft and doesn't need to be moisturized. But that was only when I first started using it. The greasiness of this product made me break out very badly unfortunately and I did not finish the tub. Speaking of which is not hygienic. I would not recommend this product.

I like using this all year round. It is reasonably priced, and does the job in keeping my skin hydrated. I have never broken out from it and I think the texture is just right...not too heavy/greasy, but not so thin that it doesn't work.

This did not work for my acne-prone skin. I do end up needing a moisturizer in the winter, but this ended up causing me to break out. It doesn't smell good either. The tub packaging is awkward and not hygenic.

This winter has not been kind to my skin so I needed something heavier than my usual moisturizer (Neutrogena - oil-free for sensitive skin). I purchased this and was nervous because I'm prone to breakouts. I have not broken out from it and it is definitely very moisturizing. I don't wake up with tight skin and flakes anymore. I'm not disappointed with this purchase.

I REALLY like this moisturizer. I would give it the full 5 lippies except my ideal nighttime moisturizer would be as gentle and moisturizing as this but with natural ingredients. Anyway... I tried this because it was fragrance free and didn't have any fancy ingredients. As a straight-up nighttime moisturizer it really works. If you don't goop it on, it's not too greasy--you really only need to use a little bit. My face always looks healthier and more radiant the next day when I use it. My day moisturizer is more effective and my makeup looks better too! It take a little while to sink into my skin, but, again, if I use just a little it doesn't feel heavy. Unless I find my HG natural moisturizer I'll definitely purchase this again.

I applied this product to my face immediately after showering. Two hours later, I had brand new pimples all over my right cheek; which I can only assume came from this creme, since my skin routine has not changed otherwise. I have so much of this left, and don't want to waste it, so I've started applying it to my neck at night, and that works fine.

All in all: it breaks out my face, but works fine on my neck.

No matter how much I massaged this into my skin it was always greasy and made my skin feel gross. Even if I only used a tiny amount. I'm disappointed, because my face really isn't even THAT oily. Might be good for people with super dry skin, or maybe in the winter.
