I used to love this in high school. I have the color orb, a brownish color. Its really pretty but you have to be careful with the jars because they might spill product in your bags. Arrgrghh..but i would definitely repurchase this again.

I got these at closeout sale for $1.99 each so I snapped up all the pretty colors. My favorites are Orb and Beauty Queen which are very pretty but subtle colors. I agree that the jars are accidents waiting to happen so I'm always super careful whenever I use them. L'Oreal is VERY generous in the amount of product. It's more than I could ever use. I'd actually prefer if they would just give less product at a lower price.

These are lovely! Though you think by looking at them in the pot it's just a sheer shimmer powder, but it's actually a highly pigmented loose eye color that rivals any solid product. My favorite is Beauty Queen, a lavender shade with coppery gold highlights. I haven't bought one yet, but I always sample them from my friend when I'm with her. I should really do it though. The only problem is 1) the packaging spills too often and 2) the price varies dramatically depending on where you get it from - some places it's still about $9, other places it's as low as $5!

I have this in orb which looks brown in the package, but when applied it has a slight greyish silver sheen to it. It is sooo shimmery, and it looks really nice on me. Every time i use it im always afraid im going to spill it all over the place, so i dont really like the packaging. But still, its a really pretty color and i know i will end up buying a few more shades.

These are so great...defintately comparable IMO to MAC pigments, just less of a color palette to choose from. Both the darks and lights are very complex and versatile...I've used them as shadows, wetliners, face highlighters and mixed w/ clear gloss for l/g. (five alarm, a deep shimmery pink/red w/ gold infused works GREAT like this). I have these in beauty queen (shimmery lavendar infused w/ gold), five alarm (described above), raisin cane-my FAVORITE (look boring plumish brown in jar but is a beautiful brown based plum w/ loads of gold shimmer) and starfish, a LE color that is very close to MAC's melon pigment. I will continue to buy these. Unlike others, I haven't found the darks hard to control but you do have to beware of spilling the jar. I too normally just use the cap excess.

I am beginning to think that it is just me. I don't have the patience or the time to blend stuff and try and make it work. If I can't pick it up and put it on...it is a no go for me.
I love the color (Sunset) - a burnished red but there is too much shimmer for me.
Using it to line my eyes or make a lipgloss requires to much energy for me (smile). Just like all the pigments I have...to much energy.

My favorite of loose powder eye shadows. Got it in tart, beauty queen, hyber space and orb. You can do them light for the day and darker for the night. I even mix them together. Real staple.

These are so fun for creating a nightclub/party look! For staying power and extra drama, I make a paste by mixing these with Lise Watier's Metamorphix, so I can line my eyes, draw lines, emphasize creases for depth, etc. I've even mixed them for use as lipstick! Grat pgiment, long-wearing, EASY to blend with the right brushes.
I use the darker shades when doing makeup for drag shows (on others - I'm really female), and they stay on through sweating and hot stage lights. Seal with powder to set, and they never move.
Start with a light hand and layer, otherwise you may end up looking like a drag queen. Unless that's the look you're going for.

I have this product in over 10 different colors. The loose powder pigment lasts for quite a while (try the brighter colors wet as liners) and the colors are rather complex (especially for drugstore). I've mixed lighter colors foundation to make a shimmery makeup, and used them as all-over high-lighters on face and body, in addition to using them as e/s. The pots are rather large and contain a lot of product, but they are easily spilled, so be careful (I usually just dip my brush into the excess in the top of the cap).

These are wonderful shadows. The pots are unecessarily large mind you but the product is excellent. Good colour range and not too expensive. Comparing these to BE and MAC pigments- you are getting great value for money. D.xx

I have this in Beauty Queen, kind of a violet lilac. When I put it on I find it mostly gold with a purple tint. I think it looks a lot better if you add some water and apply to your eyes

The color "Tart" is probably hands down my favorite eye shadow of all time. If they ever stop making it I will die! This is the original, they made shimmery powders before most other brands. I've been wearing this on my green eyes for many years and I've gotten dozens of compliments. This product is so versatile because you can throw some on when you are not wearing any other make up to brighten your eyes, or you can wear more of it for a more dramatic night look. And no matter how much you put on, you can't really mess it up because it's so sheer. I can't say enough good things about this product, and I am a green eyeshadow whore! This works just as good as more expensive shimmery powder eyeshadows.

I do agree that these are really about the best thing out of the L'Oreal line. The quality and versatility is good, however they are now getting to be so expensive that for a couple more bucks you could buy a high-end pigment.

I have this in Mystified, and love the color--shimmery pale pink. However, apply sparingly, otherwise you'll get that frosted 80's look. I noticed some people complained that it spilled onto their cheeks, but if you're going out for a night on the town, a little bit of Mystified on the cheekbones, collarbones, shoulders, or decolletage adds some shimmer without being glittery like those awful gels.

These have already been thoroughly reviewed, but it can't hurt to add another opinion :) I currently have Orb, which is a beige shade with a hint of grey and fantastic as a wash, and Native Spice, which is a deep brown. I am generally impressed with them, though I do get a small amount of creasing.

I own only one OTL powder, and I can say that it reminds me very much of BE's glimmers. I wouldn't go as far to say that it compares to MAC's pigments, but for the $, it's as close as a drugstore brand can get. I have this in Five Alarm, which is a rusty metallic red ~ This particular shade is versatile (cheeks, lips, eyes) and looks fantastic when used wet. In general, the staying power is great :)

I have this in Orb, which is a light brown / beige. This works great all over the eyelid for a gentle shimmer, as well as a highlighter for the face. This product will definitely last a long time, since you only need to use a small amount each time.
