this was one of my first mac eyeshadows. because it was the first that caught my eye. bu when i found out about clarity and saw it was more pigmented i got abit upset but then swatched them both together and realise thereisnt much difference anyway. its realy buildable so its not TOO intense and i find its easy to soften.

Fabulous colour - SO bright and very pretty, My first MAC eyeshadow, and now i'm hooked! Goes on slightly greener if you put a finer layer on - looks pretty. A fin and vibrant colour that I havn't seen elsewhere

I had to have this because I am constantly wearing blue shadows.all I can say about this one is WOW! Its SO blue and adds an amazing pop of color to my brown eyes. I would not recommend this to anyone just starting out with makeup because this color is not so easy to work with. It is, however, the most true shade I own

This is a very bright and crazy color.
I would recommend it to people who like to experiment with their looks, and who know something about make up artistry.
This is not an eye shadow for somebody who prefers subtle and neutral looks.
So, be careful...
I adore its color and texture, and I would repurchase if I would stay out of it...

If you have brown eyes & you would like them to stand out, just use this color IN your WATERLINE using an ANGLED BRUSH, this way also works if you want to try bright colors but not really have them noticeable. Have a neutral color on your lid area. A highlighter on your brow bone & inner eye corners, Electric Eel on your waterline, a thin line of black eyeliner on your top and bottom lash line (smudge it with black e\s if you want), & a good coat\s of mascara. But BEWARE, if you have small eyes this will make them even smaller so don't even attempt to do this look. Hope this was helpful.

Definitely my favorite funky eyeshadow from MAC. Super bright and true-to-color. If you apply this over blended 24/7 Urban Decay eye pencil (the one that looks exactly like EE...) your eyes will pop 150% more.
Great for teens.

This is a super bright electric blue. The texture is Satin, but I would say its very nearly a matte. Its hard to blend for me, and it can turn greenish on my NC30/C3 skin if I don't layer it on well or use a good colored base.

I had this color for years and I found it to be beautiful in the packaging but I didnt quite know how to use it on my skin tone without looking like a clown. I wish I knew what to do with it because I seen a bright future, unfortunately it went up for swap!

I love this shadow. "electric" eel is definitely a good way to describe this. This colour is not for the faint of heart for sure. This would be a great one for anyone with blue eyes. This colour is so bright and energetic, no glitter and very smooth texture. It looks great over a darker base like sharksin shadestick.

I love this on the pan, so so much. I swatch it on my arm (see pic on the top right corner) and it's beautiful, but I can only make it work to a fun night out. If I use it during the day, i AM Mimi. I swear. Also, unless I have a primer on, It doesn't really go even on my eyelid. I've tried patting too, and nope, not working that great. I wouldn't repurchase so far, even though I have to admit, in the pan it's gorgeous, on my arm, it's gorgeous, on my face...not so much. For reference, I'm NW20 with hazel eyes.

BAM!!!!!!!
This color is mad crazy! I love it. Completely fashion forward.
No shimmer, just electric blue. It's not easy to blend, I use more of a pat technique with this than to sweep.
Some of the looks I've used with this have been:
Amber lights in the inner corner to the middle of my eyelid with this blending in from the outer corner of my eye. Lots and lots of mascara and not to forget blacktrack fluidline.
As an all over lid wash with loose glitter applied over the top blending it up to the brow bone but using a light hand as I apply up to the brow bone so it's not as intense.
as an eyeliner either on the upper lid with Pink Source eyeshadow
as an eyeliner for the lower lash line
Would I buy it again? Sure, why not!

An instant cult classic.
This is an intense, neon blue, this isn't for the faint at heart. Reccomended for the daring, the rock & roll, and the fashion forward only.
A single layer gives a blast of pigment, which just gets brighter with each layer. Brings out the blue in blue eyes, and adds a striking contrast to brown eyes. Subtle it isn't.
LOVE IT.

This color is every bit as bright as it looks in the package! Sooo much pigment!
I have a little trouble layering it, the texture is a bit tricky for me personally, but that doesn't matter - the payoff is crazy-awesome!
Go buy it, please! You can use it as a bold accent or as an all-over color. So whether you like neutral shades with a color pop (satin taupe (also a MAC shade) is great for this) - or like a super-bright eye . . . this does the trick.

I said I would never buy this product again, because I would never need to again. :) Pretty color, you just need to know how to work it. Today I used its all over my lid then I added some wait til dark to my crease, phloof as my highlight, then added some gesso into the inner color to bring some lightness to contrast the crease even more and lighten electric eel. it looked perfect.

I love this color, dearly. Its a super bright light blue, almost neon , that collects effortlessly on the brush and really pops on the eyes. I love to wear this with bright pink lipstick, sort of a bubble yum theme. Trust me, electric eel is a great eyeshadow.
