Even the best of us get acne once in a while (or once a month), every girl should have this handy. THIS WORKS!!! I have it in 5% (start with lower concentration and work your way up to 10% if those dont work, but the higher doesnt mean better, all dermatologists say that). I LOVE it. I get the occational acne and I put this on after washing my face before sleep. I first put Neutrogena's Acne Stress Control 3-in-1 Hydrating Acne Treatment as my moisturizer (you can read my review on that), then this on top where i see problems only. It will dry you out if you use for the whole face, if you dont need it dont do it. Hope this works for you too.
The texture is much better than the other brands' BP solutions, its silkier, dont waste your money on Proactiv and try this first. I had Proactiv, its good but over priced and I think this works better. Will buy again for sure if needed.

This product doesn't reduce redness for me, but it does seem to make the acne go away faster. This has a very high concentration of benzoyl peroxide, so it might cause dry skin patches for some people. I would buy this again if I couldn't find a better alternative; but I've yet to try Neutrogena's acne treatments.

Not a miracle product but does help to reduce redness. I recommend Clinique Acne Solutions Emergency Gel-Lotion over this but this is alright too.

The product that brought me free from acne and blemishes. After using this product, I hardly had acne or maybe I am pass that phase but anyways, it does clear your pimples and it's vanishing cos it has a slight tint colour to mask your pimple redness. an excellent buy that is both effective and cheap. however, do use in moderation to prevent drying.

i seriously dont know why people suffer from acne in this day and age.
THIS PRODUCT WORKS. i've been using this for 6 or 7 years and my acne has been completely managable and kept at a minimum. the packaging is hideous and people sometimes question why i have this product - it's not very 'girly' looking - but i CAN NOT survive without it. it's magical. look, if you have zits, this is how you can get rid of them.
1. wash your face with a benzoyl peroxide face wash (twice a day).
2. dont wear gross foundation or excessive makeup.
3. use CLEARASIL cream at night - dont glob it on, either, a thin layer will do the trick. it works because it dries up the zits.
if you have zits, stop putting millions of products on your face, i.e. like gross "fruit moisturizers" and two tons of concealer and powder. all you need is this product. seriously, people are ridiculous. dont use all that fancy stuff, clearasil has the same active ingredient that proactive has. except proactive is expensive. but it works too.
i want to make love to clearasil. i swear to god, if i was going on that show "survivor" and i could only take two things, it would probably be clearasil and a toothbrush.

This is the only thing, and I mean it, keeping my skin clear. It might get a little dry if I put it in known sensitive areas (for me thats the area where laugh lines would be and the lower sides around my mouth). I use it EVERY night on my cheeks and jaw line because out of nowhere, I started getting serious acne there. Since using this as a preventing tool, I get a weird zit maybe once a month (as opposed to every other day, literally). It does not help with blackheads for me. I noticed SA works better for clogged pores and blackheads. I tried using clean and clear persa gel, but strangely it just didn't work as well even though it doesnt have those pore clogging ingredients people keep talking about.
I do wake up with red cheeks if I put on too much, but it's gone in a few hours, and I wear face makeup up anyway. It's worth it to me, really. I payed 6 dollars. I will continue to purchase.
I use this under my makeup as well, but thinly because it will cause a hot mess otherwise (esp with studio fix or colorstay!) I'm happy I re-discovered this :)

it does like the packaging says - within 3 days there's a noticeable difference... usually in fewer days!
this product works really well for my cystic acne and whiteheads. it doesn't do too much for my blackheads though (salicylic acid products work better for those w/ me). after cleansing, i apply a thick spot over my acne head and leave it on overnight. there's a slight tingle/itchiness sensation once applied but it dissipates after a minute or so. if i apply a thin transparent layer, i don't get any tingle.
the benzoyl peroxide is drying, so expect some flaking (that's one of the ways that this chemical works), especially if you lay it on thick. but simply counteract it by using a good moisturizer.

There really isn't a miracle product out there for getting rid of acne overnight, but this one does help reduce is and keeps my pimples dry so that they won't grow any larger! lol. I've used this for years, and on my lazy days I just wear the tinted one over my t-zone and pimples.

i use this because i get mild acne on the bottom of my nose. this product is very good but not as effective as clean and clear persa-gel 10 (which is the same thing almost b/c they're both 10% b.p.)...also it's more expensive, it was $9 while clean and clear is $6. neither dry my skin out or burn it like people say it does except it does burn and turn it a little red if i use too much, especially on the sides of the nose

My skin was never the type with lots of acne. I get maybe a few zits once in a while, but it does get oily. Last summer, I started getting some acne on my forehead & I've always tried all those brand-name massage creams and cleansers but they never gave me super clear skin! And a friend recommended this, and at first, if you don't use it correctly with moisturizer, it can dry out your skin, but it makes it soft, gets rid of ALL acne & zits in just a few days, and leaves my skin non-oily.. for just $4! I don't go back to those expensive skincare anymore (: I use it 3-4 times a day, everytime I wash my face and before I put on my makeup. I LOVE IT<333 p.s. i love being "fair-skinned" and right after you put it on, it gives you the effect of powder-makeup! i think it's the benzoyl peroxide. TIP: too much benzoyl peroxide really dries your skin so stay within 5-10% range
to those of you who get blotchiness, do you use sunscreen? I recommended this to a friend who got the same blotches, but she admitted later she didn't use suncream. SUNCREAM IS NECESSARY AFTER USING THIS PRODUCT

This products works very well for me, and i think it is very worth it for the price!
I apply this during times i breakout, and if you use its loyally (few days) you will notice your pimple going down =) Actually the first time i ever used this cream, the next morning my pimple had reduced incredibly by alot~!
You should apply it in circular motions/rub it in well, or else when it dries it will leave some white flakiness. My skin is sensitive/normal/dry, so yes this product does sometimes dry out my skin. But to fix this I simply use a very moisturising moisturiser right after the treatment cream. So 1. Cleanse, 2. Clearasil treatment cream on pimples, 3. Moisturise with Clinique's dramatically different moisturising lotion.
I must admit the cream does sting and make me slightly itchy, however I think its all worth it for me :D

I used this product for two days with out seeing any results. Then on the third day I applyed it on a patch of acne on my left cheek and a small spot on my right cheek, and left it on over night. I left it on for a few hours in the moring because it had already dried. After i washed my face in the moring I discovered huge inflamed red burn like marks on the areas where i applyed it. I CRIED BEACUSE IT WAS SO HORRIBLE! I put neosporin and moisteriser on it in attempt to make it dissapear. The next day (today) it started to peel and my skin is horribly dry. After reading more reviews, I've learned that it will take up to a month for the burns to heal. This is my last year in middle school, and I have prom and a whole bunch of end of the year events that I will have to face with facial deformaties. THANK YOU CLEARASIL FOR RUINING MY LAST MONTH OF MIDDLE SCHOOL!

This product works if you apply it the right way! Believe me!
I started breaking out like no tomorrow out of the blue and I felt like a monster. Nothing worked. NOTHING. I saw my brother's face (who was eligible for Accutane) clear up miraculously in a matter of a couple months only, with no scarring or redness. He said it was Clearasil. So I ran to the nearest drugstore.
USERS, BE CAREFUL, THOUGH! It's 10% Benzoyl Peroxide, so yes, it will make any skin itchy, sensitive and flaky, because it exfoliates like a peeling. Wash your face with a mild cleanser, skip the toner - your skin will become too irritated and apply a generous amount of Clearasil evenly. It may burn a little but take a deep breath. Let it dry and apply an oil free moisturizer. DO NOT SKIP this! Every skin needs moisture, even oily ones. It will also keep your face smoother for makeup, because you will flake.
I noticed Clearasil reduced A LOT of my cystic acne fast, so I'm ecstatic. Benzoyl Peroxide really does work.

This works well as a preventive treatment. I use it at night after I wash my face. I mix it with my lotion and spread it on the problem areas. It's too drying if I don't mix it, or if I use it more than once a day. I have noticed less breakouts since I've been using it. I wish I didn't get any. Downside is it will bleach your sheets, towels, clothes, etc. Their are generics out there that have the same ingredients in them, but I have yet to try them. Another thing is it doesn't really "vanish" so make sure you rub it in and don't just dot it on. It leaves my skin looking a little pale (another reason I use it only at night) even when I rub it in. The tinted cream is too dark for me.

I started using this about 4-5 months ago when my sister suggested i use it. I had lots of acne and acne scars as well. Using this helped both within a month or two. i did notice some itching and burning sensations but i held back and didnt scratch and continued to use this. I was using it twice a day which became too much and made my skin dry, but i cut back to once a day and it is going great!
Be careful what kind of other face lotion you use with this, because i used to use a moisturizer with salicylic acid in it, and it dried out my skin very badly, so be sure you use one without it.
UPDATE/EDIT: Be careful how much of this cream you use, i noticed a lot of users talking about burn marks...it was probably because they used too much. A little bit goes a long way!!

I've used this product a few years back when my skin became somewhat acne-prone. I thought this would be a quick fix for a few already existing zits. I remmeber using it overnight as an on the spot-treatment...and waking up with HUGE RED BURNS on the treated areas!!! Really, no product has ever done that, my skin isn't all that sensitive or dry and I used it exactly as it was prescribed! Anyway, it took weeks to clear up, it just looked like I burned myself in the face with some heating-device, it looked rediculous and way more noticable than the zits were. I would just want to warn everybody for this product, I am convinced it is too harsh to use on your face and I truely believe that Clearasil on the opposite of helping us customers with getting clear skin!

Actually cleared my skin in 2-3 days. I had an awful breakout, the worst I've seen on my face ever. From stress, tons of makeup, etc...and I could not get rid of it for anything! I tried all these washes, treatments, nothing. I was so desperate I bought this, which I had remembered not doing much for me last time but it was the only thing I hadn't used so far. Anyway, I put it all over my face, then clean and clear dual action moisturizer and now my face is back to normal (minus the red spots). The best part is, because I'm a receptionist, I don't have to hide my face when people are talking to me now! and I don't have to cake on makeup! <3

This product used to get a bad rap and I'm not sure why, I've been using it since I was 14 and it's the only thing I know of that really really kills zits of any kind! Usually within three days whatever was there is almost completely gone and deffinately not very visable it's such powerful stuff! That said, it's not something you smear all over face, in fact if I haven't used it in a while and put too much on the next day my eyes will be puffy and it'll take them a while to go down. So stick to spot treating and beware becuase it yes it can dry out yourskin but I'd rather use some mousturizer on smooth skin then have a big zit on my face! I've used other brands with BP and the 2.5 and 5 percents never did anything note worthy. THIS is good stuff just remember it's powerful!
