I have tried so many foundations it's not even funny. I truly think that, now I've found LS my search is over.
Let me preface with a bit about my skin type. Hormonal (and sometimes extra) acne prone, but being (somewhat) managed with prescription retinol cream and spironolactone. These treatments make my skin even more sensitive than it initially was. I also have very uneven, blotchy skin with lots of old red acne scars and large pores.
This is the only foundation that not only covers and evens out my skin without looking like a thick mask but also doesn't sink into pores, cling to downy hairs, slide off my face in an oily pool or settle into my emerging lines.
I used to get similar results from diorskin nude, and maybe the first 20mins of using a mineral makeup alone (afterwhich it became an oily pool).
Truly amazing stuff- I've used it with a few different primers and found the Hourglass mineral one to keeps it on all day. I also dust BE very lightly over the top to make it a bit more matte and a bit of extra coverage on some areas.
Yes, the price is, well, kind of insane. But, it can be found at a decent discount online and personally I think it's worth it. Am so sick of foundations that make me look gross, damn the expense!
The packaging is alright, nice solid bottle and pump dispenser that hasn't broken and dispenses the right amount of product. Only problem is that when it runs out, the last bit in the bottle is a pain to get out- the pump doesn't get it and I have to use a cotton bud.
In all, I highly recommend and will continue to fork out for this still unless I find something better (am always trying new products.)

Edit: I've bumped up my rating for 3 stars to 4. I played around with this foundation and it's very build able. 3-4 pumps gave me a medium coverage that was enough for me while not looking cakey. The only thing keeping this from a solid 5/5 is the fact that it does still *sometimes* highlight dryness and texture if I don't put in a hefty skin routine beforehand.

I am so conflicted.

Some days I put this on and I'm like "damn, you look like a glowing princess". Then other days I put this on and it highlights all of my dry/uneven patches (even though I'm a combo/oily skin type??). Also it seems to sit on top of my face yet goes into my pores at the same time during these bad days. It's so odd.

Before I put this on I know I have to exfoliate my skin and really put in work to my skin routine. Through my experience I've found satin/dewy foundations require the most work to look nice. Matte foundations I rarely have these problems. Is it in the formula for these foundations to be flaw enhancing? I've tried so many dewy/satin foundations by now that I've lost count, and none of them wow'd me. This one was the best, however.

Pros: It's hydrating in a sense that it will make your skin look dewy and glowy. They have a quite a good colour range, I am very pale and they have a colour that suits me quite well, it's only slightly yellow for me. The packaging is super sleek, pretty to look at, and easy to pump out. I put it on top of my makeup desk to look like a fancy bish.

Cons: It is NOT hydrating in the sense of dry patches, and uneven textures on the face (acne particularly, or any other texture). Also it's very light coverage. It's not as light as tinted moisturizers, but I'd say it's a pretty standard light coverage foundation. Your flaws will show through. I use about 2-3 pumps and I find it doesn't cover up my acne discolouration scars and I have to go in with more concealer than I like to. If you have acne though, this will not suffice. You need concealer with this if that's the case, maybe even two layers of concealer when it's a bad skin day. To be honest because it's so expensive I've been stingy on using more than 2-3 pumps but I will most likely have to in order to make up for the light coverage as it just doesn't work for my particular skin situation.

If you don't have a large amount of skin issues like I do you will most likely think this is about a 4/5. The staying power isn't the best but it's not the worst either. If you don't want to look like you're wearing foundation (beach, work, school) this is a good choice. I most likely would repurchase and just put the extra work into my routine due to the fact that all of us gals need a light coverage foundation for some occasion and this is the best I have come across. I will probably continue my search, however.

This foundation really did look great for a couple of weeks, no reactions or irritations. Then the nightmare began, I started to get clogged pores around my nose, chin and forehead. This foundation has bad ingredients that will be a nightmare for people with oily or combination skin. I really would stay away from this foundation plus it only lasts approx 4 hours then starts to slide off.

Amazing foundation for redness and just creating a flawless base really!

Pros:

It is so long wearing, there will be absolutely no need for touch ups unless you are completely oily like everywhere on your face, I am oily in my T zone and it worked with that just fine.

The Micro-fill technology which sounds like a maketing trick but it actually isn't, I think it's true. I really believe that this looks amazing over pores just as they claim. So it definitley is not fake looking, but still flawless. It's kind of weird, because it is fake in the sense that your skin looks amazingly different but it looks like natural perfect skin, just not the kind of natural you're used to. Like when you see a model's skin? It's so difficult to explain because it gives such a unique finish.

Blends in with natural skin tone but doesn't lose its colour correcting capability. To give an example, I have redness so I got this in shade 3 which is yellow toned. Most makeup artists and also alot of people know that a yellow-toned foundation/concealer counteracts redness. Now, when I put this on my hand to swatch it I was like, no no no this is not for me it's so yellow. But when I blended it in it gave me a gorgeous colour and looked so natural (minus the 'natural' imperfections).

Cons:

Whilst this is incredibly buildable, I don't think this is the best foundation out there for acne or even blemish covering. It's amazing for that purpose, don't get me wrong but there has got to be a better foundation for "Undetectable" blemish coverage than this. If I had to rate how this foundation looks on different areas on my skin I'd say 10 out of 10 on my 'good skin' areas and 8.5 out of 10 on my 'not so good skin' areas. For reference, my bad skin areas are on my chin and my forehead. It's not awful, swollen, flaky and out of control acne at all, I'd say theres about 9 tiny red blemishes on my chin and about 5 or 6 tiny red blemishes spread out across my forehead. And my good skin areas are my cheeks where I have a little bit of redness which can only be noticed in certain light and some enlarged pores. So I hope this gives you a realistic idea of what this is going to do for you.

A lot of people say "If you're oily you're not going to like this foundation" but I can't agree with that since I have an oily T-zone and this works fine with that. But if you consider yourself exceptionally oily in all areas on your face then this foundation is not going to keep all your oil from showing.

Also, I think this goes for all foundations but it does accentuate flakiness ever so slightly. I don't think there is ever going to be a foundation that works well with any kind of flakiness to be perfectly honest with you because that is just the nature of foundation. So if you are slightly flaky all the time or excessively dry I think airbrushing is probably your best bet at covering that if that's what you want to cover but hey, different things work for different people it might work great for you.

50/50 with this foundation tbh.

The shade range is tricky as hell, I've bought 4 bottles of this and the colours are either took pink, or too beige for my warm skin tone.

The consistency is thick but still has movement if you move your hand, my biggest problem is the smell, this foundation smells bad! The smell to me lingers on my face for a good 2 hours after I apply it, bleh I don't know why but it smells over fragranced.

The coverage is about medium if you buff it in.
The finish is very satin, but matte to the touch, it doesn't wear for long, id say 8 hours before it starts to fade off of the oiliest parts of my face.

I must say it photographs amazing and would recommend it for evening events where you know photos will be taken under flash.

Pretty good foundation, it's up the top for my favorites but I just can't get past the smell.

This is my second bottle I've purchased, why? Because I threw the other one out because I hated it so much a couple years back.
I now have figured out how to wear it for my oily skin and I am in love. I haven't touched my other foundations in weeks (big deal for a foundation addict like myself).
Ok I have oily combo skin. About NC30/35 olive undertones. 6.5 in this fits me nice when I have a slight tan. I always have an issue with foundation being the wrong undertone and this one just gets it so right!
I moisturise and prime with hourglass mineral primer. I didn't prime previously which is probably why I hated it first one I owned it. Then I use a flat buffing brush to buff it onto the skin. The initial finish is natural. Not dewy or luminous. Just a healthy natural skin finish. I do not set it. After a few mins it seems to set itself enough for me to be able to go in with bronzer and blush smoothly without being patchy.
Throughout the day I get some oil breakthrough but it just makes my skin looks luminous and not oily. I don't know how but it becomes luminous as the day goes on. The pigment is fantastic and remains the same all day. Smoothes over my pores. Medium to full coverage with no cakiness whatsoever.
This has really surprised me and I thought I was being real crazy spending the money to give this another shot but I just love it at the moment.
Oily ladies just try priming first. I'm not a primer girl but I tried and I'm so happy with the result.

I've used many many foundations from drug store to high end, and I like the dewy look that doesn't look thick and cakey
This foundation is magic.
It goes on light but is very Easy to build up to a more fully coverage!
It hydrates the skin. Makes pores look smaller. And stays put all day.
Without the mask look!
It truly looks like skin!
Also applies like a dream. The price is steep. But you do get what you pay for.
I do like to try other brands, as I'm a make up junkie. But non of them live up to this one.
Love this foundation!

I have to perform quite often and the lighting on stage are always blindingly strong. Therefore a fuller coverage foundation is a must. Especially since I haven't got baby bums skin. When my makeup artist tried this on me I loved it. It's not cakey, quite natural (application is key to natural finish) and is the perfect colour for my yellow-based skin tone. It covers well, lasts long and doesn't smudge or melt even when I perspire from the heat emitted by the strong lighting.
Only downside is the price. Can't afford it. Tht's the only reason I wouldn't buy it haha.

I love this foundation because it does what it promises. The shades are a flattering yellow base, no breakouts (I have been told dermatologists recommend this) and looks finished and natural. It has no spf which has its advantages- no white look in flash photos. Now I do use it with the Armani Primer, either the clear one or the spf one which may be why I am so happy with this foundation - it doesn't sit in my pores and it glides on. My HG for sure.
